Very mediocre food. Everything was just okay. I give it a 2.5 stars. Friendly staff tho, service was fine, the food was just okay.

What an overall great experience and I am looking forward to coming back! The server was so kind and knowledgeable and made great recommendations Super cool style set up, which made the ambience just right! ...and the food. I think everything's pretty much scratch made, and you can taste the amount of time and thoughtfulness that goes into each dish. Highly recommend this place.

We've been coming for years. Great place for breakfast. However, the servings are shrinking by about 1/3. Not sure why.

I gave it one more bite, and even the grilled onions were terribly flavored, how is that possible? Soggy bun, oversalted burger, super dry on the edges, awful flavor. I'm sure I must have caught them on an "off" day, but I won't risk it again. I even had to go to my favorite smashburger joint the next day to "heal" from the experience. I was worried I would be turned off burgers for life. Super sad to have to report this, but I'm somewhat of a burger expert. :( Update: I ordered the Mary Plain Blige on April 28, 2026

We were visiting the area temporarily so we wanted to make sure we stopped by before we left. Our one time visiting has turned into us coming back multiple times, this place is delicious!! We tried the Mac Miller burger which is a burger topped with jalapeño aioli and creamy mac and cheese. You can modify if you'd like a single patty, double (how it comes), or triple. We also got a side of fries. The burger is amazing!! Best burger we have ever had! The crispiest patty and so moist and the mac and cheese is definitely creamy just like it says. We are obsessed! The fries are large enough you can share. We dream about this place now that we are no longer in the area but next time we are we are definitely coming back!

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

We came in for an early dinner so we were really able to enjoy the rustic ambience of this restaurant all by ourselves. As soon as we sat down the waitress was attentive and ready to take our order. I order the garden party off their cocktail menu. Snap pea gin, bay leaf vermouth, genepy, saline and pea shoot? I really was feeling adventurous with this one, a regrettable mistake. The first sip I thought I was drinking sea water with a touch of olive oil in it. I never send back drinks although I was close with this one, I sipped it throughout my meal. One critique I have about the cocktail menu is that every drink was over complicated with many exotic ingredients. There was nothing for someone who was looking for a simple craft cocktail. The table shared the Strawberry Panzanella, and once again I was accosted by an overwhelming salty and sour flavor. A traditional Italian salad consisting of grilled strawberry and focaccia croutons. The lemon vinaigrette dressing on this salad was salty and sour, and very overpowering. Unlike my drink we were unable to finish this one. I ordered the Roe Burger, which I had been really looking forward to trying, thankfully this one did not disappoint. Two smash burger patties that were thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection with slices of cheddar cheese on top are then placed on a bed of classic burger toppings. Tomato, pickles, and iceberg lettuce. This burger was served with crispy fries and garlic aioli. After my fist few bites my mind was beginning to change about this restaurant. We also shared the Reuben Croquettes. A super creative and unique spin on one of my personal favorite appetizers. These little fried pocket were filled with a delicious mixture of cheese and shredded corned beef. They were garnished with a small slice of pickle which was a great touch. For dessert we decided to try the hazelnut torte which was fantastic. It had a nice crisp outer layer with a soft gooey center. Lovely flavor and texture that ended our experience at Roe wonderfully. In conclusion our experience at Roe had its ups and downs but I left feeling satisfied. If you are looking for a unique culinary experience I would give this restaurant a try.

The station burger is small and tasted greasy and off. You have to pay $5 extra for fries, otherwise a burger with no side is like $14. Our server seemed annoyed when we asked for smaller drinks with lids for my grandkids, and ended up charging us the full $4 for lemonades which were maybe 4 oz. (same price as adult full-size lemonade.) We had originally asked for chocolate milk but they claimed they didn't have any. I wonder how they make their chocolate shakes then? At least 2 families got up and left without eating. That wasn't an option for us, since the kids would have been upset and we were all so hungry. Then when I paid, I tried to explain to our server why I wasn't leaving a 20% tip and she started making excuses and arguing with me. The only good thing was the kids got to hug the Bob's Big Boy statue, a long standing tradition! I used to love this place, but none of us will be going back again.

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! For the area it's a little pricey but i think the view, vibe, and food elevates it above other local fare of fairhaven.
