Your Wife -The Boss (over hash browns)

Always amazing breakfast options! I got the Whopping Stupid Sandwich with Bacon & Sausage and my nibling had Your Wife over hash browns. Both phenomenal choices!!

Little Cheerful always has a great vibe. Workers are friendly and I've been there with loud music playing and them singing along. The food quality is standard for a cafe and it's one of those unique spots I bring new people in town. Everything has that intentional touch of a curated spot that feels timeless and inviting. Busy spot on the weekends so brace for a bit of a wait during peak hours.

This cafe came as a recommendation from friends. We arrived early enough to avoid a wait for a party of five. The service was friendly and efficient. Pro-tip: get the biscuit. They are homemade, oh so fluffy & delicious. I ordered the ABTJ omelette. The highlight was the biscuit. I could have eaten a few more. Light buttery goodness. The table had plenty condiments, including a great jam option. The omelette was hearty, piping hot and filling. Lots of great breakfast options, served as an omelette, skillet or over hashbrowns. A great downtown spot to check out!

This is my all time favorite breakfast place. We have gone here countless times and are always incredibly satisfied. Everything is made with quality ingredients and good portions. The biggest plus is everyone that works here is so kind, you can tell they enjoy their job.

Amazing little place for brunch! It gets busy and it's a small space, so get there early! Super food and service!!

This place has been banging out a kick butt breakfast from when I was in school at Western , we'll say a long time ago..... It was even better than I remember. Our group enjoyed an R-rated pancake as an appetizer, hilarious!! We slit the biscuits and gravy( scratch gravy folks, not packaged bs) and a Bacon and Cheese skillet. Great stuff! Sadly we weren't on top of it with pics so got a shot of the aftermath and a couple "colorful" atmosphere shots! It's a cozy little diner as the name implies and had to wait a bit. They text you so you can explore downtown while you wait, so didn't think it was bad at all.

My sister and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Seattle. The atmosphere was a bit different than I'm used to but it was an overall fun vibe. I didn't catch our servers name but she was very pleasant I ordered the California skillet and it was delicious. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My sister had the pork verde skillet and it was just a bit on the spicy side but not overly. At least half the skillet was pork, there was almost too much

Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Went for breakfast on a Monday and was left wanting. Server was super nice! Coffee was hot and kinda blah. Wife got a latte and enjoyed it. Got the Cali skillet and it had no seasoning. I don't think they even used any. On top of that the place was very noisy, which made it tough to enjoy our breakfast date. A non-repeat place for me. on top of that, it was $30 for two coffees and we shared a breakfast. Pretty expensive for what you get...

I've lived in and around Bellingham for my entire life and somehow never realized this spot existed. What a find! For starters the reviews were great, but the parking lot was full when we arrived at 1pm on a random Wednesday which is typically a good sign that this is the spot. The entrance lives up to the name with a beautiful arched door to welcome you in. The space is large and airy with a ton of visual interest. We were told there was a 5-15 minute wait but it was very quick before we were seated in the bustling dining room. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Seeing the food and amazing coffee/hot chocolate drinks being delivered was genuinely exciting us. With peaches in season, peach blintzes and French toast were on special. The server recommended the blintzes so that's what I ordered. When they arrived she told me that if I didn't like them they would switch them out which was a nice offer but I absolutely loved them. I also ordered the fancy Vienesse coffee which was a true treat! Overflowing with homemade whip it was amazing, but not super hot. My hubby ordered the Buttermilk breakfast which was two pancakes, one egg, bacon, fruit and included coffee and juice. The house coffee was delish which was a very nice to have. He also ordered a side of sourdough bread which was amazing with the homemade jelly. My daughter ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes and devoured them. The only complaint was that it was a little on the spendy side, but when you consider that it's literally all homemade ingredients it's absolutely worth it. Can't believe we've slept on this place for so long. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the baked French Ham & Cheddar omelet. Plenty for us to split. They have excellent butter that enhances their already great pancakes. The pancakes were included with the omelet. Pretty proud of their biscuits but we thought ours was overcooked. We enjoyed eating the soft middle inside, but left the crusty outside. And we're not raspberry preserve folks. I love fresh raspberries but just can't do any other raspberry items. Tried the preserves but just not for me. Probably won't order the bacon again either. Good flavor but thick cut and hard to cut/chew. We'll be back!!

The patio can get a bit chilly, but it's worth it for the view, and they do have heaters available. I started with a salad, followed by the Keenan's burger with a garbanzo bean patty, and the soup du jour. All three were delicious. The complimentary bread served with garlic herb spread was a wonderful start--aromatic and very satisfying. The salad had a great balance of fresh vegetables and toppings. On a cold day, the soup was especially comforting. The burger itself was well prepared and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed due to a large party seated next to us. Another nice perk: there's a boardwalk and beach right next door, making it a great place for a stroll before or after your meal.

My husband loves their ball and a bat (shot with a beer) and I love the cocktails, wine selection, and they make a great Arnold palmer. Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

I was happy to see steamed clams on the menu. I grew up eating fresh steamed seafood for dinner, so battered fried seafood that is more common here hasn't really grown on me yet. To me fried seafood is a fancy version of chicken nuggets. I loved the clams, so light but bland. The sauce is full of umami flavor, drizzled with some fresh lemon juice, it was like a summery beachy afternoon in a bowl. I could easily dip a loaf of toast with it if I had one. The clams were fresh and meaty, nothing to complain about with this dish. My partner had the grilled cheese, and he said it was mid. He's vegetarian, and I don't like cheese, so I didn't bother to try any of his meal to do my own fact check. The staff were friendly too. Overall, this is a nice place to grab lunch when visiting Bellingham.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a young boy, attending special family dinners or just going to get pizza after soccer practice. Now well into adulthood I still find myself coming here with my wife for an excellent dining experience, any time or day of the week. This week we decided to go in for brunch, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend a dreary Washington morning. When you walk into this cozy little restaurant the smells of fresh breads and fried potatoes invite you into an elevated breakfast experience. Our hostess sat us down at a table almost immediately with the same friendly smile and welcoming attitude that I have come to expect from the staff at the fork. After sitting down and sipping of fresh squeezed orange juice we ordered two of our favorite breakfast plates. Chicken Fried Steak, and Corned Beef Hash. The Corned Beef Hash consisted two poached eggs sitting on a heaping pile of shredded corned beef that was both crispy and tender. Typically this dish is served with peppers and onions, but on this trip my wife opted out and the chef was happy to oblige our request. I can say from prior experiences that the peppers and onions are a fantastic addition to this mix. I went with the Chicken fried steak. A classic breakfast that requires a large appetite to face on your own! The cube steak was breaded and fried with the traditional seasonings, then covered in a house made gravy that was so rich and flavorful I couldn't put my fork down. I ordered mine with over medium eggs that were cooked perfectly, something that other kitchens can rarely get right. If you are a fan of Chicken Fried Steak then you must try this one! Both of our plates came with a large portion of golden brown home fries, and a fluffy biscuit served with honey butter and a peach preserve. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive. Although the restaurant was fairly busy she made sure our every need was taken care of :) I once again left the fork feeling full, and extremely satisfied. If the doors to this amazing restaurant are open, I will definitely be coming back again and again.
