This place seems like the go-to spot for marina boats to stock up on supplies, and it doubles as a perfect place to pick up some unique souvenirs. You'll find local artists selling everything from handmade jewelry, cutting boards that make you want to chop something just for fun, rope baskets perfect for stashing things, and crochet clothing. If you're in the market for a memorable keepsake, this is your spot! The service was quick and friendly, which was much appreciated after we dragged ourselves in from our beach adventure. As for the food, we went with the clam chowder, chicken salad sandwich, and a strawberry banana smoothie, and they did not disappoint. After all that walking, it felt like we'd discovered a hidden oasis. The chowder was creamy, the sandwich was hearty, and the smoothie was the perfect reward for pretending to be outdoorsy. Now, let's talk about the flowers. The groundskeeper grows these massive, stunning blooms that are on every table, adding a lovely touch--until the bees decide to crash the party. Gorgeous? Yes. But watch out, because those bees are on a mission to turn your peaceful lunch into their own personal floral rave. All in all, a charming spot for food, souvenirs, and a few inevitable bee encounters!

The food was incredible. The passed appetizers were fabulous, the entrées were delicious, and everyone in our group was raving about their meals. I had the Peach Bourbon Braised Pork Shoulder, and it was truly magic in a bowl! It was one of the best dishes I've had, the Curry Salmon was also a huge hit! What really made the evening exceptional, though, was the service. Josie, Victoria, and Stella were amazing--so sweet, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They kept the drinks flowing, timed the appetizers and dinner perfectly, and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the evening. Brad Hagen, the owner, was also wonderful to work with throughout all of the planning leading up to our dinner. Everything came together beautifully, and once we arrived, we were able to simply relax and enjoy this special evening with our family and friends. Our guests absolutely loved the food, the service, and the entire experience. Skylarks and their incredible team gave our guests of honor a rehearsal dinner we will always remember. We couldn't have asked for a better evening. Highly, highly recommend!

Several guests who were seated after us were greeted and offered water and coffee before anyone came to our table, which was frustrating. Once our server did come over, though, she was great--friendly, attentive, and took really good care of us from that point on. The coffee was okay, but I definitely would have preferred it stronger. We both ordered the Monte Cristo with breakfast potatoes. The sandwich itself looked amazing, and the raspberry jam was delicious, but unfortunately the meat inside was pretty dry. The breakfast potatoes were SO good and the tartar sauce was honestly some of the best I've had. At $25 for the Monte Cristo, I expected the sandwich to be better, and I probably wouldn't order it again at that price. There were definitely some highlights, but overall it was a bit of a mixed bag.

It was a really clean (outside and in) + decorated cafe and easy to find (right on a street corner). They had a selection of gluten free items to eat, including gluten free focaccia which worked out great since my partner is GF. We ordered a variety of food and coffee (latte and gesha pour over) and even bought a bag of gesha beans to make coffee at home because we thought it was so good. Even though it was a Saturday morning (it was super packed) we still found a table to sit at and were able to enjoy everything. We came back a couple of days later, but we missed the food (the kitchen closes at a specific time) so we ended up getting coffee to go. I'd put this place on my list of favorite coffee shops to eat at in PNW!
