What a pleasant coffee shop! Stopped at Exit 199 from out of the area, followed the signs and found this quaint little coffee shopping brimming people bustling with a healthy group of happy people grabbing coffee. The hostess at the cash register provided a welcoming and positive energy that was contagious to all. The order process and staff whipped it out right away without drama. The coffee was verrrrry good and can highly recommend. If you are in the area of just driving by on I-5, worth a stop!

Woods Coffee is located in Birch Bay which is about 7 mins driver from the boarder. We ordered the vanilla latte. It was not bad. The coffee shop is very clean inside. There aer many seats and quite spacious. There are also plenty of free parking at the locaation. Staff at the location were pretty friendly. Washrooms inside were well maintained and very clean.

The coffee lover in me would absolutely love to rate this cute establishment as 5 stars. We visited twice while camping in Birch Bay, and the customer service was outstanding both times. The warmth of my conversations with the baristas made me want to stay awhile. Food: ham & swiss croissant breakfast sandwiches were delicious . The croissant was flaky and the ham sliced thin. It was huge and worth the price tag. Hubby waited awhile to eat his biscuit ham & cheese Sammy so it became a bit dense and chewy. When ordering the sausage egg biscuit and eating it right away, the biscuit texture had the buttery edge with the slight crisp that biscuit lovers enjoy. Monster cookie = peanut butter cookie lovers dream. Oh so chewy and moist! Not too sweet and heavy on PB flavor. Wish I had the recipe good! Drinks: this is where things head a bit downhill. My teenage niece loved the mudslide espresso shake. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk (added a shot) and it tasted as if it had 1 shot of extremely smooth espresso. ---When the other reviewers mentioned their coffee being very weak, I decided to try their cold brew thinking it had to be the strongest coffee they serve. Sadly it tasted like vanilla milk, and unfortunately I don't like the taste of cows milk. Bleh! You couldn't visually see any brown from the espresso, and I'm questioning if it was in there? Maybe I would grab a drip coffee if it was the closest coffee shop around. I would however return for the breakfast and friendly conversation.

Nice place for a pitstop and decent coffee after a long wait at the Peace Arch border

I didn't buy any food items, so I'm not sure how it is. The service was great and fast. The ambiance is a coffee shop.

I adore the vibe of Woods Coffee. Adventure and a coffee shop-- what more could you ask for?! This was my first ever Woods Coffee experience and I wasn't disappointed. I stopped in on a chilly, rainy day for a cup of tea. They had a decent selection available, and the options included some unique flavors that I'd love to try eventually. This day, I got a classic black tea with a splash of coconut milk. It was about $2.65 for a medium / 16 oz. The tea was good and definitely helped warm me up. If I'm ever back in Washington and needing some tea, I'll be sure to try more Woods Coffee options. Other notes: the space was clean, had a great ambiance, and was quiet enough to make an awesome work space! Staff was super friendly, too, and willing to make suggestions when asked.

I've passed this place everytime I've gone down to the states but this time, I was going to Birch Bay for a weekend and my friends & I needed a caffeine fix and we were by The Market to get some groceries to make dinner. The coffee was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't so good that I'd be like "wow, so smooth". The place is clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and they looked like they enjoy working there as they had smiles on their face and were laughing. I will probably stop by here again, if I'm heading down to the states.

I always stop in while using the supercharger, and it's always a good stop. Cozy vibes and a bathroom are what I need while stopping in! :)

Service is good and friendly. The food is good, too, but every time I ordered a grande vanilla latte it tasted like burnt coffee beans.

So we walked about 100 yards to this little coffee shop. They also happen to have some cute crafts, local artisan made items and stickers. A few bistro tables and bar counter that faces the bay. The baristas in house were very friendly and chatty. Also attentive and make a mean latte. My hubby had a good old fashion cup o Joe fresh brewed too. I had a coconut chai tea latte and they topped it off w ground cardamon and cinnamon. We shared the almond cream danish (these are from Costco) but still yummy. The breakfast burritos look small but they are stuffed full of yummy goodness: eggs cheese potatoes and either bacon or sausage. We got one of each. And the salsa is homemade so good garlicky and mildly spicy. Overall a cute place for grab n go or to sit a while and take in everything in the place or the views and enjoy coffee a pastry or a yummy breakfast burrito.

The cafe is a replica of a railway caboose and the kids could relate to the dining car experience. The covered patio is great to sit and munch on food, but on a sunny day, I would however recommend just ordering take out and sitting on the picnic tables right beside the cafe on a sunny day. We ordered a few beverages (Chai Latte, Americano & Maharaja Express) and snack items (ham sandwich & scone) - and everything was reasonably priced and served quickly. The scone was really good though, like better than many of the scones around. We imagined this being a quick coffee stop on the way but ending up spending a good 30mins soaking the views. The pit stop was worth every minute!

The menu is huge and everything on it seems to call your name, breakfast all day, tons of sandwiches, muffins, smoothies... seriously, so much to love here. On this visit we had the falafel and the Reuben, and both were delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Between the unique setting and the great food, this spot is such a fun little surprise. Definitely worth a visit (or two... or three!).

The location was a little tricky since the intersection is busy and it can be hard to get in or out depending on what side you come from. Also, the train blocks the intersection as well so the wait to get in can be a bit. The store itself is quaint and clean with outdoor seating and ordering in both directions. The barista was kind and took our orders efficiently. The drinks came out within 6 minutes so were relatively fast. We ordered a caramel macchiato and a whole milk cappuccino. Both were so delicious, the espresso shots were made perfectly and flavoring was on point! We were so impressed we would drive all the way up north for another go in the future.
