We had the most wonderful experience with L&L Bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes! From the beginning, they were so kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with. Knowing that L&L Bakery is a family business run by a mother and daughter made the experience feel even more special and personal. Our wedding cake turned out absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we had asked for. It looked amazing and, most importantly, tasted incredible! Every pastry here that I've had has been SO GOOD. I am gluten free and it's really nice to have multiple options! Love this place, didn't love the coffee but it may have been my coffee order. I have been following L & L Bakery/Dessert Shop for close to a year! They were in the process of moving into their shop in Blaine when we contacted them last but this was our first time coming in! The shop is non descript on the outside, but once you walk through the door, you are immediately immersed into a cozy and delicious, quaint shop! There were several sets of customers sitting down enjoying lunch and/or treats. My husband and I were drawn in by the colorful bakery cases, fully loaded with all kinds of sweet and savory goodness! We sampled several cookies and decided to place an order for Christmas for a casual family gathering at home. We ordered the meat quiche, carrot cake, chocolate cake, peanut butter cookie and cake cups! We wanted to try all of it! The meat quiches were a total hit with the family. Even so- I went back later that day to get more, but they were sold out. They are the biggest, tallest most delicious quickest I've ever tried. They are at least 4 inches tall and smothered in cheese. The carrot cake is soft, most, perfectly spiced and the butter cream in between the layers, just melts in your mouth. The peanut butter cookie was eaten so quickly and I didn't get a bite from my husband. The kids loved the cake cups and they've lasted them 2 days already since they are so rich and filling.
