I parked in an open spot to run briefly into a business nearby not realizing that I was parking in a reserved spot. I came back to a large 1/2 sheet sticker with threatening language about taking my license plate and towing with industrial strength adhesive plastered to my drivers side window--she vandalized my vehicle and also obstructed my view for safe driving. I went into the store to apologize for parking in her spot and she started going on about how ignorance is no excuse and proclaimed herself proud to be a c-word and in a taunting sing-songy-voice told me to hurry on before the tow truck arrived ‍. I actually had intentions of going into the store to buy a desert before heading home. I've never, ever met such a vile individual running a small business. The adhesive on that sticker was intended to be difficult to remove, thankfully the nice kids at oreilys helped me with some stuff to get the sticker off. *Noted* shortage of decent human behavior and understanding and patience at that place. As a former small business owner myself, I treated everyone as a potential customer. New relationships and good impressions are what keep your business going. If you can't even make it through the door to see how the product is, it won't matter if you've got the best stuff on earth. Peace and love to you, sweetie pie

This is a lovely little bakery with some delicious offerings! The staff was lovely and knew menu items well. It's $5 a cupcake but worth every bit! I'm especially fond of the lemon raspberry cupcake. The cake pops not so much, they tasted off and a bit like canned frosting.

The Chocolate Salted Caramel! It literally oozes caramel but still maintains a perfect cupcake consistency. Don't know how she does it!

I've consumed a lot of cupcakes in my lifetime, including those from some of the most acclaimed bakeries in the United States, but this sweet, little shop in Bellingham, WA has the absolute best cupcakes I have ever eaten. The owner has such a genuinely pure soul and sweet personality, and her assistant, Katelyn always greets and serves customers with an adorably bubbly personality. The cupcakes come in all sorts of unique flavors that all just seem to work perfectly, and are incredibly affordable for such high end treats. I cannot rave enough about Icing on the Cake. 100% recommend heading down and getting your hand on these delicious desserts!! P.S. Try the Chocolate Salted Caramel if you can. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE

Yummy little cupcake shop! I stopped in here for an early birthday treat while visiting my cousin. I arrived 30 minutes before closing so she was out of a lot of flavors, but the ones I ended up with were yummy. I was torn between two so she actually ended up giving me one for free which was so nice of her. The woman working was also one of the nicest people I've ever come into contact with! She was very friendly and had a very bubbly personality. The flavors I ended up trying were raspberry almond and lemon blueberry. The raspberry was the best of the two. The almond buttercream was so good and not overly sweet. I wanted to go back to try a chocolate one but I ran out of time and I feel bad because she even said she would set one aside for me! You should definitely go treat yourself to some cupcakes.

I had a great experience ordering from Icing on the cake for my babyshower. I went with the bakers choice which gave me plenty of good flavors for my event. I was able to give my preferences and the cupcakes were all very tasty according to my guests. I would definitely recommend them as I experienced friendly service as well. The location downtown Bellingham is easy to find. I'm excited to check out the shop to see what else they offer.

Pure Bliss has a WIDE selection of gluten free, and a vegan section. Yes, there is also an overlap with some items that are both. I was super impressed with how vast the selections for both were. It is CUTE in here! Feels like a modern Parisian bakery. There were plenty of people sitting and enjoying their desserts with a glass of bubbly. It felt like I stepped into a whole new world. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average

We tried the bioluminescence drink and the toasty marshmallow latte. The bioluminescence drink is very aesthetic and drinks like a soda / energy drink, though it is a one and done for me as I don't feel the sparkles are the most healthy thing. The toasty marshmallow latte was a bit pricy at $7.50 but they had 3 pieces of toasted marshmallow that is perfect (s'mores like but not burnt) and there is a lot of drink. It was on the sweeter side for me. They have Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the side but it was a bit stale, but I won't be docking off a star as there's not much to it and everything else was delicious.
