Great Harvest Bread is yet another Bellingham gem, of the only bakeries I've ever walked into and been offered a warm slice of the bread. I greatly appreciate the spectacular customer service. I'm looking forward to returning in the coming weeks as for the seasonal fall items; I highly recommend!!

Smaller Monkey Bread and Larger Dakota Seed. Both amazing!

Since I moved to Bellingham, I have always been loyal to a different bread company, but I recently started trying Great Harvest and baby, I am never going back! During Covid, Great Harvest has created a drive through on the side of their building. When you arrive, you pull up and the daily menu is displayed in the window so you can see all the items they have fresh and ready. When you get to the "window" (sliding door) one of their friendly employees is there to run and get whatever fresh baked goodness you want! I recently got a Jewish friend one of their Challah bread and it was one of the nicest loaves I've ever seen, and she agreed. I went yesterday and picked up some of their Dakota seed loaf, which is made with tons of good seeds, and a loaf of their cinnamon sugar monkey bread and neither disappointed! Oh, also they sometimes give you a fresh slice of bread for free with your order so you can snack on the drive home... like what!!

It's always a special treat to come here and pick up some fresh and tasty treats and their amazing cinnamon chip bread. I especially love this time of year when they make the Hoppy Easter bread loaf shaped like a bunny! Who wouldn't want an Easter Bunny shaped loaf of this yumminess?! Tip: Call ahead or stop in to place your order for a cinnamon chip bunny loaf, as they don't make those in advance. I placed my order today and can't wait to pick them up in a few days!

*Currently stuffing my face with their raspberry scone...* I work dangerously close to this establishment. Each time I go, the staff is incredibly friendly and I looove their sample bread selection. Today I had a raspberry coconut cake slice and it was heaven. Anyhow... great prices, yummy breads and pastries. I'll be back once a week

Huge disappointment! I paid $11.00 for a loaf of cranberries and walnuts bread. It was so dry and flavorless I threw it away.

Looks like a hole in the wall from outside which we know is usually where good food comes from but talk about sketch and questionable. Hard to navigate small lot. Park in back where someone appears to be looking for drugs in grass around cars. Someone is beating carpets outside with gloves on. We see a few people on patio and in the weird area through the entryway window sitting to eat. They close at 10. We showed a little after 8. Confused walking into a small market and where to order, we turn toward the meat counter. There's a register. You hear voices but no people to be seen. There's a limited menu above meat counter. We stood awkwardly waiting. The person beating the carpets walls in from back with gloves still on and pushes past us. Doesn't say a word. Stands in front of register and just stares loathing us. Awesome start. I ask if this is where we order food. She nods. I say I'd like to place an order for here. She says at this time they're only doing takeout. We are far from home, don't want to eat in car. We see patrons eating with seating available. She stands silently holding her broom with rbf permanent on face seemingly annoyed I interrupted her night. At this point exhausted with the exchange, I just want food. We keep the order simple to get out of this insufferable person's aura. But wait, problems with order. I don't even remember the full interaction after that at this point but I remember them saying they ran out of meats so there was chicken or vegetable. I'm sure that's someone's choice but not ours. It's not even worth trying to make it work. I remember trying to kill with kindness because maybe she's just having a day but once we changed our minds and decided to leave, couldn't believe it was possible to get icier. I feel bad for people like that. This woman seemed to hate her job and people. This is the only impression we will ever have of this place. Will never come back. I'm sure the food is edible but honestly wouldn't trust it. Looks dirty in there. She was still wearing the carpet beating gloves at the register. Idk about Bellingham code but hope they pass for yalls sake. There were seemingly a million and one places to get Mexican food in Bellingham. Choose a place where they treat you right and you're not afraid the register lady is going to sabotage your food and no one will break into your car looking for drugs. We ended up going to a fantastic Mexican restaurant with the best food and despite it being 20 mins to close over at that place, they were so kind and amazing. And the ambiance was so wonderful. If you have to choose, pick literally anywhere else.

Pure Bliss has a WIDE selection of gluten free, and a vegan section. Yes, there is also an overlap with some items that are both. I was super impressed with how vast the selections for both were. It is CUTE in here! Feels like a modern Parisian bakery. There were plenty of people sitting and enjoying their desserts with a glass of bubbly. It felt like I stepped into a whole new world. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

Its very inviting and adorable from the street view. Right when we walked in we felt like we stepped into the cutest litte bakery shop. There were cakes and cookies, different types of bars and cupcakes galore. The endless amounts of options for desserts is not the only thing they have tons of options for, they also have lots of options for beverages as well. They serve wine, champagne, coffee, tea, cider, its the cutest place! Truly something here for everyone. We have been here multiple times since using our giftcard and our favorites are the caramel butter bar and margarita wedge (seasonal I believe which is sad because it's so delicious). The caramel butter bar is amazing. If you like shortbread and caramel this one is for you. There are so many choices here you will for sure find something! They offer some staple flavors that dont change but a lot of their cakes and cupcakes flavors and other select desserts do change monthly so keep that in mind and come in often to try all the new things!
