Chicken and beef enchilada

I drove past this place many time and finally got to eat here as my friend was hungry after our Trader Joe's run. It was also one of the few Mexican food places opened at 10 am (it opens earlier at 6 am while most restaurants open at 11 am). The beauty of being a market and bakery. Besides food, this place sells Mexican products and drinks and baked goods. The staff was friendly and very patient while we took some time to decide what we wanted. Order at the cashier, pay and they will bring the food to you when done. It did take some time for the food to be ready. There is a small dining in area inside the place with 6 tables, plus patio dining. I had the enchiladas (1 beef and 1 chicken). It was so cheesy and good though I did find it to be a tad too salty for me. The beef was very tender that I wondered if it was birria beef. I liked it more than the chicken. My friend had the carne asada which he said was good. He enjoyed the food and it did the job of filling up the tummy. If you love hot sauce, there are so many kinds here with huge bottles. Parking is available here.

Recommended by a local, this small grocery does make some food to go. There are a few tables inside if you'd rather eat there. I had the chorizo burrito. I think it weighed about two pounds and was filled with meat. If you are hungry this will fill you up, or eat half and save the rest for lunch the next day. Very good taste! They also have some bakery items that you must check out. I tried something that was like a Swiss roll. Lots of chocolate flavor and cream filling. Enough for two to share, but if you don't I won't tell.

Ok, so I have a problem... an addiction...this place! Over the last 10 days my husband and I have gone here 3 times. The first visit was to have a breakfast burrito with bacon, it was beyond large and so tasty it drew us back within a few days, where we had a carne asada chimichanga, and can I say that was so yummy, stuffed with meat, the rice and beans were delicious, and the salad was good. And today we had their special which was a shredded beef chimichanga, and I didn't think the meat could get better than the carne asada but I was soo wrong. And we splurged and got donuts they had just brought out of the kitchen, still warm and softer than a pillow, and twice as tasty!! The store itself is also great we found aji mirasol paste which we have had to order for years to make Peruvian green sauce at home, so that is pretty amazing. I suggest you go when you can for authentic Mexican food, we will likely see you there, because yeah, I just can't help it. Pic is purely half a carne asada chimichanga and half the rice and beans that my husband and I split.

Authentic Mexican. Menus are very simple but I noticed a lot of people were ordering soups ( menudo for sure) and Pazole from off menus. They looked so delicious. Also bakery section- smells so good. Selling out very quickly. Tucked in corner of Northwest Dr and w.maplewood. I loved their tacos and tamales. My fam liked Burritos. I will try menudo next time.

This cute little market carries groceries, baked foods & yummy Mexican grub! Grabbed a bag of concha's, cheese enchiladas, and shared some carne asada fries. They sell a variety of meat, so no wonder the carne asada was my fav! Very warm and friendly service! They have a sign, must wear masks before entering. Everyone was wearing masks and seemed to be taking COVID precautions. Would want to try their tacos next time..

First stop during our day trip was to get our Mexican eats in. We decided to try Netos Market & Bakery, which is part restaurant, bakery and grocery store. You can smell the fresh pastries being made when you walk in. We dropped in on a Saturday (around 11:15am). There were quite a few people, including several Mexican customers, which is always a good sign in my books. There's 6 small booths inside along with an outdoor patio area. Service is friendly and water self serve. The menu is up behind the counter along with a daily specials board. They also have a display case of Mexican pastries. The grocery area had sauces, spices (big selection of dried chilies), tortillas, snacks, etc. The sauces on the table (green and red) were both excellent. The red had a touch of acidity and a bit of fire to it. - Chile rellenos ($9.99 US) - two stuffed jalapeño peppers with cheese, rice, beans, sour cream and salad. They also came with four warmed tortillas (choose between flour or corn tortilla). This was quite satisfying; the jalapeño peppers had a good heat level and plenty of cheese (stuffed inside and over top). Beans were a tiny bit salty if eaten on its own but were better when combined with the tortillas. - 5x Tacos ($1.50 US) - we tried the pollo, adobada, asada, chorizo and lengua ($3.00 US). It came with a couple slices of radish and a lime. Pollo was a touch salty but tender. The adobada and chorizo were solid. The asada was our least favourite as it was slightly dry. Lengua was excellent; plenty of meat and stewed, resulting in a very tender bite. Will be back to try their huarache!

Tacos asada and carnitas

Great food at a reasonable price. All the essential groceries for cooking Mexican food. Friendly service. The place is not fancy, but they do a great job providing good food with good service. I had 2 asada tacos, 2 carnitas tacos, and a pork tamale. All of it was great. Tamale was tender and flavorful. Asada tacos were my favorite, the meat was fresh and soft tortillas, good seasonings. All in all, it's a gem of a spot.

Pure Bliss has a WIDE selection of gluten free, and a vegan section. Yes, there is also an overlap with some items that are both. I was super impressed with how vast the selections for both were. It is CUTE in here! Feels like a modern Parisian bakery. There were plenty of people sitting and enjoying their desserts with a glass of bubbly. It felt like I stepped into a whole new world. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

Upon parking I inserted two quarters (20 minutes) into the meter then realized I did not need to pay yet because it was before 11:00 a.m., oops. Making my way to the suite for Raven Bakery, there was a sign out front clearly marking the bakery as well as the name of the bakery on both the window and the side of the building (the sign/placard on the side of the building was the signage I initially spotted on approach by car). The counter for ordering items was right inside the door and workers were alert and ready and music was playing at low-medium volume. Looking over the items, I went with a slice/slab of the gingerbread cake. I paid cash, which was a payment method that came with a 3% discount. The worker fulfilling the order was friendly. Taking the cake back to my car to eat, I found it to be a denser bread/cake with a very intense ginger flavor. I grew fonder of the intensity as I ate the slice, reaching a stable palate equilibrium by the end. It was a tasty treat.
