Today when trying to order my go-to breakfast sandwich, a simply sausage on biscuit, the woman taking my order pretended not to know what I was talking about. This is a sandwich I've been ordering since I was five, I don't eat egg and I know it's on the menu. The woman taking my order tried to charge me for a regular breakfast sandwich and it took me telling her three times that I wanted a simply sausage for her to finally put it in the register. Such a frustrating experience and I know she just wanted to charge me extra for the egg I literally didn't want. My mom's breakfast sandwich was also cut terribly, we included a photo below. I can't believe they would send out a sandwich looking like this. Obviously we love Tim Hortons and will continue to come here, but I didn't love this experience and hope the next time we visit, we have a better one. The rest of the order was great, we loved our wraps chicken habanero wraps and my mom enjoys the french vanilla cappuccino. We appreciate that Tim Hortons food is good quality and delicious for a low price.

I asked what kind of donut they would recommend and I got the Boston Cream one and my brother wanted TimBits. I believe my husband just ordered a maple bar. Sometimes about the Boston Cream donut was not so fattening, not so sweet, and not so unforgiving - It was just right, and delicious. The dough of the donut too was out of this world, it was so fluffy and soft. I think having a donut here was when I realized that America literally puts sugar in everything lol. I didn't really know what to compare it to but my husband said it was similar to our Krispy Kreme here in the states. If you have never had Tim Hortons, I definitely recommend the boston creme.

Apparently I was in a chocolate mood. This Tim Horton's was close enough to the US border so this is the Tim Horton's the family came to. It also made a great meeting spot since we were in two different vehicles. Service was fast and there was a good selection of foods even for Chloe who is NOT a fan of donuts. She tried Melanie's apple fritter and actually liked it so maybe there's hope for her yet. There was a lovely elderly couple who offered us a chair from their table so we could accommodate 5 people at our table designed for 4 which was nice not to have to ask, but to have someone offer. Canadians are so much more thoughtful than Americans. We could learn a lot from our northern neighbors. This location doesn't have a very large dining area however they must know their clientele as most people grabbed their orders and took off again. Driv-thru was busy nearly the whole time we were there as well and it was after breakfast hours and before lunch. Interesting. They did have a nice fake fireplace going which I'm sure in colder months this is cozy but in early July, seemed a bit strange to have going. I look forward to my next visit to Canada next summer.

My coworker and I have been regular customers for almost a year because we genuinely enjoyed the food and the overall experience. Unfortunately, our visit today was extremely upsetting because of the way we were treated by the manager, Ms. Yang (possibly Rihanna Yang). During our visit, there was a misunderstanding regarding our order. A chicken dish was brought to our table, but we had not ordered it. I immediately explained that we did not order this dish and that I do not eat chicken due to an allergy/preference. We had ordered a fish dish instead. Instead of calmly checking the order or trying to resolve the misunderstanding, Ms. Yang repeatedly insisted, in a very loud voice in front of other customers, that we had ordered the chicken dish and that we had to eat it. She continued saying that we had to accept the dish and pay for it, even after I explained multiple times that we did not order it. The situation became very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Other customers were watching as she raised her voice at us. I politely asked her several times to please calm down and not speak to us in that manner, but she continued insisting and arguing. I even confirmed with my assistant, who was sitting with me, that neither of us had ordered the chicken dish, and she also confirmed that she had not heard us order it. A professional way to handle this situation would have been to apologize for the misunderstanding, check the order, and offer a solution. Instead, we felt pressured and disrespected. By the end of the interaction, I had completely lost my appetite and could no longer enjoy the food we had ordered. After asking her to remove the dish, she eventually took it away but told us that we were no longer welcome at the restaurant. After being loyal customers for almost a year, I found this response extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I understand that mistakes can happen in restaurants, but the way a situation is handled is what defines good customer service. Unfortunately, the way this matter was handled was unprofessional, embarrassing, and made us feel unwelcome. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure customers are treated with respect and professionalism in the future.
