I find it a convenient spot for my cool down treat as it's on the strip right close to the foot of White Rock Pier, Canada's longest. Ask for samples first before you settle on a flavour or two. My favourite for gelato right now is still Bella Gelateria, in Vancouver. Maya's selection of gelato is limited, but 100% worth it especially when it's 35°C / 95F outside. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well with several fish & chip spots & burger joints. Parking is a challenge along the entire strip, but if you're patient, unlike me, you'll find a spot so worry not. Keep in mind that the strip which runs along the beach, draws heavy traffic. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there.
