The owner is very sweet because the last time we showed up - we were those people who showed up 10 minutes before closing. She immediately took our order and started cooking our food. We got the cheese wheel pasta with the chicken. I have had meatballs before, but the chicken is my favorite. It is cheesy, saucy (but not too saucy), and the chicken is nice and crispy. Have heard mixed reviews about WD cravings, happened to be in the area so decided to check it out. Bought 3 rice bowls to go... one chicken tinga, one fried chicken and one brisket. Wish I had eaten in the restaurant because I would have said something for sure. First impression was skimpy serving size. Rice and potatoes, even coleslaw are cheap ingredients. These bowls range from 15-17$ If you're going to skimp on meat, at least fill the bowl with the cheaper ingredients. The brisket bowl had maybe 1/3 cup of rice! The chicken bowls both had good flavor. The brisket bowl was a big disappointment. The flavors were good. However, each piece of "brisket"was either entirely or mostly just cubes of fat. The place is so clean it squeaks. But... ...overall it is a disappointment. My chicken parm was overcooked. The chicken was slightly tough, worse, the breading was black in places, and tasted slightly burnt. The delicious coleslaw was served in a non-varnished bowl that leached oil and went limp. I'll never understand why some pasta places provide plastic ware. Plastic forks bend and then often spring back and splatter your clean shirt with sauce as mine is now. The food was really not that good everything tasted way over seasoned. There was no service to speak of but they did want a tip. I should have got a tip from them for cleaning the table and hauling away all the dirty dishes. Not much ambiance, I don't know if they have air conditioning. In my opinion, attempting to order dinner will be an effort that ends in frustration. First, the dinner hours are odd....they are not open for dinner on Friday or Saturday. So we gave it a go on a Sunday. I tried calling repeatedly and continuously got voicemail. The voicemail message alternated between saying they were closed on Saturdays (reminder, I was calling on Sunday) or to call back later or order via Facebook messenger. Well...I don't have Facebook and after 4-5 attempts I gave up. As much as I advocate for supporting local businesses during this very difficult time, there needs to be some organizational standards in place. On the visit I made in person several weeks earlier, they had altered the hours for Valentine's, which were different than what was posted on their website (and door), so I found myself hanging out unnecessarily for 30 minutes. The desserts I sampled were beautiful and the service was friendly, but unfortunately due to the above issues, I really don't plan to be back. I brought some family from out of town here on saturday to grab a yummy bite to eat. Ive been here before and LOVED the pastas. When we came in, the whole dining area was a mess. there was only one family sitting down and every table was dirty and the floors were gross. we ordered and I asked the girl working if one of the tables could be cleaned off and she handed me a rag to go whipe one down myself. super unprofessional. we got our food in togo containers because they had no clean dishes. i had to ask for spoons because they didnt have any out. i am unsure if it was just a bad day when it comes to staff or what but the two girls working at the front were just gossiping the whole time. only reason for 3 starts is because the food is pretty good. idk if i will bring anyone else here after that bad experience. read more

Had a trip back to visit Omaha and this made the must-hit restaurant list. Their breakfast can't be beat, I dream about those sandwiches. I tried this place for the first time last week and have already came back twice for takeout. It's so delicious!

I was so excited to see this location has a restaurant in it again! I went one morning for breakfast and tried the chicken sa so it was delicious! I also had a coffee drink I loved. A couple nights later had dinner. Their meatballs are very good and the chicken Parmesan dinner was some of the best we ever had. The whole family loves it. We used drive through. We tried the pesto chicken parm, mac and cheese with fried chicken, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was very tasty and flavorful. We also added a cabbage and carrot salad to our meals and that was definitely a highlight. The flavor was unique and the ingredients were fresh. The desserts are beautifully made and were also delicious as well. The wheel pasta was excellent! I will return just for that. Side salad was a huge disappointment. It consisted of maybe a half cup of baby spinach leaves. That was all! I felt ripped off. Server at the pickup window was polite and friendly. Quite expensive $22 for a serving of wheel pasta (no added meat) and the skimpy salad. They need to put a sign in the front. Pretty sure the pesto is made in house, and the doughnut holes were fresh and warm. Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday. Sad to say we were the only ones there right at noon. I hope this was an anomaly and things are booming for them normally. The service was very friendly. They have some delicious looking pastries and treats on display. I tried the cannoli and was not disappointed. I also had the meatball sando and the braised short rib sando. Both amazing, I couldn't pick a favorite, I need both again. The home fries were crispy, salty and tasty. Maybe the best chai tea latte I've had in a long time. The sando's are very reasonable at $5 each, and $3 for the home fries is very fair. Overall they seem to have excellent ingredients and they put them together well. They have a few tables out front so we could sit outside to take advantage of the unseasonably cool August weather. Plenty of seating inside as well. The menu is small but that's ok when you do something so well. They also have a couple of gluten free treats on hand which is great to see so my wife can enjoy something. Keep up the good work.
