This place is soooo disappointing and that's sad because I loved their oysters here. I booked a reservation and was seated promptly with the request for a booth. Hostess was great and did her job precisely. I had a waiter come greet me, poured water and we asked for a dozen of $1 oysters to start. He was confused and said we don't do that (it's all day for Sunday but ok?) It was our anniversary and I didn't want to complain so we said sure. He comes back and says oh wait jk we do that so I will order it. That's fine maybe he's new. We were served the oysters without them telling us where it's from and no spoon for the sauces (however the table next to us got that cute service). I honestly don't care about that but wow. Then we ordered the bucatini carbonara and another dish. I kid you not guys, the carbonara had scrambled eggs in it. I was like maybe this is what it's supposed to be like then I look at yelp and see that it's supposed to be a creamy sauce, not scrambled eggs. So disappointing. It's so sad because I like the atmosphere of the place but wow. The manager came to us a couple of times (maybe they were understaffed) to give us the food and this is why I didn't complain at the time with my carbonara because maybe it's supposed to have it. However I looked at other yelp photos and nope, not supposed to have scrambled eggs in carbonara. Looking back I wished I would've just said something but again it was our anniversary and I didn't want to ruin the moment for complaining on 3 different things. read more

Here just for the weekly oyster happy hour, 5-7pm Mon-Sat. Nice ambiance, trendy, and close to the Square (the H-Bomb Square of course). Sat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly enough. Oysters were nice and the sauces were the standard flare; nothing to go bananas over (no Thai basil ice like one place I have in mind in Southie). Note: the environment and service are both critical to a great eating experience, if not just swing by the Golden Arches! This is one reason why I will comment on both these areas including the grub. If I could give this experience a true rating, it would be more of a 3.5 Stars but since I cannot, I'll rate up rather than down since I was in a good mood. read more

Waypoint was a robust disappointment. But first, the good things - my burger was quite tasty, the bread appetizer was good, if weirdly expensive, and the waitress was very good. In fact, she was much too good for this establishment. Why? Let's review the rest of the evening. We ordered a shrimp plate as an appetizer. This shrimp would have easily made it into the Salty Spittoon, since it was the toughest we had ever had. The sauce and bread were good enough, but not enough to make up for the terribly overcooked shrimp. One of us ordered a pepperoni pizza. This thing came out greased up heavier than a Judas Priest concert during Pride Month in San Francisco. She picked up the first slice, and the entire top of the pizza slid right off. We're talking introductory physics course assume-there-is-no-friction levels of ease with which the cheese and pepperoni vacated the premises. Abandoning this slice, she updated her mental model of pizza kinematics and managed to try some of the second slice. Now, at first we thought the pizza had come from the kitchen, but we all agreed it must have made its way through some MIT carbon dating lab down the street, since the pepperoni was burned to a black crisp. I thought it couldn't be that bad, but upon trying a bite myself, learned an important lesson about testing your hypotheses against the evidence. This pizza was sent back for a second pizza, which came out only slightly less burned and still largely inedible. She eventually just gave up on dinner. Several of us ordered the crab angel hair. This turned out to be a giant spiral of noodles that had only homeopathic traces of crab but a level of butter that would've made Julia Child blush. $29 for buttered noodles and rumors of crab. I think there's a better chance of the eucharist containing the body of Christ than this pasta dish actually having any crab in it. One of us did find some cartilage, though. One of us ordered another pizza. Its oil levels were deemed "Texas" compared to the pepperoni's "Kuwait." Had Dick Cheney been with us he would've been positively vibrating in his seat, insisting that we take over the restaurant and its seemingly endless supply of fossil fuels. The treehuggers would've declared they had been right all along, claiming that worldwide overfishing had definitively pushed crab into extinction. And I'm sure Gordon Ramsay may well have just passed out. I hope our poor waitress can channel her inner Sigourney Weaver to escape this doomed ship and find restaurant more worthy of her talents. read more

Wonderful birthday dinner for my mom. We booked a reservation on a Friday night, and the restaurant was extremely accomodating with our request to Make the dinner special at the beginning rather than bringing a dessert at the end, as I had to leave early. They all wished her a happy birthday and brought out a complimentary glass of champagne which was a very cute and thoughtful addition. I was only able to stay for the appetizer but avocado and corn salad that we had was absolutely delicious! And my mom let me know that she enjoyed the rest of the meal as well. I will definitely be back to try their dinner and brunch. They do a nice job on the interior to create a nautical theme, and the waiters and waitresses were attentive throughout the meal. read more

Must visit for the happy hour oysters! If nothing else, pull up a seat at the bar and order a dozen oysters, you won't regret it. The absinthe cocktails are amazing, have them help you pick one. They will steer you in the right direction if you have any questions. On to the food....sooo good! Everything we had was great and perfect for sharing. We split a pizza and two small dishes between 3 people and it was the perfect amount after having downed 3 dozen oysters. We ended up spitting out the kale after chewing on it for a minute and it wouldn't break apart. The mashed potatoes that came with it was good. -Crab Pizza was ok. Needs more flavor. Friend tasted sand in his mouth. -Cheesecake was ok. Friend did not like the dry corn bread underneath the cheesecake. -Squid ink pasta was ok. Waypoint has o ko super trendy vibes and is always busy. If you plan to go to this Cambridge hot spot make sure to get a reservation in advance. Waypoint does delicious renditions on small plates. We decided to share several different dishes. For starters we shared the raw and pickled vegetable salad. This salad was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. We also decided to share the Hiramasa Crudo to start. This was a raw white fish, sliced thinly and garnished with green tea, blood orange and jalapeño. The blood orange was incorporated into a creamy sauce that was reminiscent of a Japanese mayo. The smooth sauce added a fatty contrast to the light fish. For heartier dishes we shared the lobster and the halibut. The lobster tail was unbelievable. Not only was the meat cooked perfectly but it was atop a black crispy rice that added a crispy contrast to the buttery shellfish. The halibut was also cooked perfectly and was Accompanied by roasted olives. Halibut is a blank canvas and the tarragon aioli on the side added a unique taste to the fish. Delicious food at good portion sizes! I came here on a dinner date. RESTAURANT: It's quite loud in the restaurant, and has your dimly lit, trendy vibe that's popular with restaurants these days. The restaurant has an interesting (but not very photo-friendly) greenish lighting. Random: but I thoroughly enjoyed their music selections! Some groovy tunes~ SERVICE: Excellent! Other than the usual attentive care that a restaurant at this price point usually provides, they were extra kind and offered to put the extra bags I was carrying with me (I was traveling) in the back room for me :3 So nice of them~ DRINKS: I had Figure of Speech ($13); it was quite refreshing. Very much what I expected though - your stereotypical fruity, herby gin drink. Not in a bad way though! FOOD: My date had the Squid Ink Gemelli ($19), and I had the Uni Bucatini ($23). We split a Crab French Fries ($9.) The *Uni Bucatini* was good. The smoked egg yolk surrounded the noodles in a viscous juicy-ness that complemented the bite from the al dente noodles. However, there were only a few pieces of uni, which was a bit disappointing. It's an expensive meat, but it felt a little misleading to have "Uni" featured in the title of the dish if there was so little on the actual plate. The portion sizes for both my and my date's dish were wonderfully sizeable for their prices! Usually restaurants like these have teeny tiny portions, about a bite or so of food, so it was really nice to indulge in a well-filled plate. I even had to take some of my pasta home! The *Crab French Fries* were also fantastic - very flavorful. Worthy of note was the AH-MAZING chili mayo. We took some of the fries home (again, great portion sizes) and our server was sweet enough to fill us extra sauce (score!) I ended up eating chips with the extra sauce that we had, it was so damn good. IN SUM: Waypoint is pretty good! Libations (does that make me sound fancy?): Milk punch - not gross, really delicious, pretty strong Barbarrosa - go to red. A++ Food: Chicken fried oysters and mussels to start. Chicken fried oysters were flavorful and unbelievably tender. It only came with 4 but I would order again in a heartbeat. Mussels came in the most unique saffron sauce I've ever tasted. We ordered extra bread so we could sit their and sop it up like the classy kids we are. #noregrets Main course: I got the fried eggplant , my boyfriend got their 20 oz ribeye. They actually know how to cook a rare steak which gave it an A++ forever from my boyfriend. My pizza was incredible, but I was so full from the apps that I took most of it home (not to worry, it made a baller breakfast). Don't worry though, wasn't too full for dessert. My family and I celebrated my birthday with dinner at Waypoint last month. For a party of 9, we shared a variety of dishes and spent about $53 per person after drinks, tax, and gratuity. What we liked: - BREAD sampler with SQUID INK DIP and seaweed butter. This was truly unique and savory. Note: this was not free starter bread and yes, I will gladly pay $6 a plate. - KING CRAB with brown butter and black rice (think: fried garlic) - so fragrant and delicious, and the chili oil was reminiscent of Asian dishes, yum! Oh, btw: it's $24 for literally two bites. Ouch. - LAMB SHOULDER. Since it's cooked sous-vide, it was incredibly tender with perfect medium-rare doneness throughout. Unlike the king crab, this was massive, and so was the price $74. We also ordered a whole branzino, two different pastas (uni bucatini and spelt gemelli), two different pizzas (chopped clam and Italian sausage), and the crab-flavored french fries. Waypoint must have hired Salt Bae to put the finishing touches on all of these dishes. We were so parched from the sodium overdose!! Other Yelpers seem to echo the same sentiment... The menu did not offer much for greens to balance out the heavy meat/carb-filled dinner, only two choices: market veggie roast or pickled veggies. We went with the roast (half-size) and it was very under-cooked. I do want to point out that the service was a hit, hence the overall 3-star rating. Our server Alyson was great at handling a large party; she was attentive, answered all of our questions, brought out extra napkins and serving spoons (for large platters), and even offered a change of plates between courses. If Waypoint can just fix the salt issue and add more greens to the menu, then we would definitely return for dinner. read more

Stopped in Waypoint last night for a drink while waiting for a reservation at Cafe Sushi. The drinks were amazing. Who knew a cocktail with banana peppers would taste so good?? We were given a food menu as well and after looking it over we had to try the steak tar tare and grilled octopus. Both were amazing. Considering how I feel about Alden and Harlow, I had high expectations for these place. The space is beautiful, and I love that you can watch the oyster shuckers. We sat at a small booth along the window, which was nice since there was a breeze and it wasn't too loud. Other parts of the restaurant were pretty loud--there are a lot of hard surfaces. As is often the case in restaurants though, I felt like I was going to hit elbows with the couple seated next to us. Our server was very attentive and nice, though he did seem a little unsure of himself. He walked us through the menu and answered all of our questions. This is a small/large plate restaurant, so sharing is encouraged, which was nice since we wanted to try a lot of things. We started with cocktails. I loved mine--the "Why Not?"--made with bourbon, strawberries, lemon, and calabrian chiles. It sort of reminded me of a whiskey sour with a kick. My partner got an absinthe cocktail called the Spruce Lee that he also loved. Made with spruce tip gin, vert absinthe, and green chartreuse, I think the best way to describe the flavor is "green." We started with the steak tartare, which was incredible. The soft boiled egg and roe really made the dish. I was basically licking the plate clean. Next we had the chicken fried oysters, which were presented in their oyster shells with hot sauce underneath. These were really flavorful and crisp, though a little cold by the time we got them. Our server also helpfully pointed out that the dish only came with three oysters, so we added a fourth for a small fee. I always appreciate this kind of info in a sharing-style restaurant--if it's an odd number for two people, just let us know and we will happily add an extra piece so we don't have to fight over it or split something awkwardly. The best dish of the night was the squid ink gemelli. Seriously one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. It was so smoky and the corn crema was delicious. It was a large serving of pasta and definitely split-able. At this point we were sated and we weren't too intrigued by the dessert menu, so we ended dinner with some wine and beer. Overall it was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back. It seems like some reviews aren't so positive, but I definitely recommend Waypoint. Just know that most of the menu is smaller plates that aren't entree-sized, and the cocktail list is dynamite. read more

I don't generally write reviews, but after my family's terrible experience tonight I feel compelled to warn others off from Waypoint. I'm a graduating student and my family has come from several thousand miles away to be with me this week. It's a pain finding a restaurant that we all like especially since my parents stick to "halal" but after reading about Waiypoint's fantastic seafood we decided to give it a shot. We had a 8:45 pm reservation. When we showed up our table wasn't ready and were told that people were "lingering". Expecting no more than a 10 min wait we told the hostess not the worry and took a walk around the block to kill some time. We finally got a message that our table was ready at 9:17. That's almost 35 min later for those keeping track. Once we got back to the restaurant we then had a further wait before we were finally shown to a table. The hostess apologized profusely and told us that she would send a long some free snacks in appreciation of our patience. At this point we were slightly frustrated but were trying to remain calm and pleasant in the hopes of not destroying a pleasant evening. Of course even that small amount of patience soon evaporated when we met our waiter. His attitude was completely dismissive. He didn't bother to take our order for a solid 15 min. Once we did put the order in, the food took almost 40 min to come out of the kitchen. When I asked him what the status of the order was he told me it would be there momentarily - zero apologies, zero explanations. To add insult on top of injury once the meal arrived, the pizza that we got was burnt (which according to our waiter was just because of the semolina flour that the restaurant uses), the lobster tail was rubbery, and the blue crab pasta was salty. The thumb in the eye at the end of the meal came when we asked for the pasta to be packed and instead it was "accidentally thrown out". And by the way we never did get those free snacks that were meant to be an apology for the original wait. All in all it was a terrible evening. I'm embarrassed that I brought my parents here, and more embarrassed still that we paid $20 a plate for terrible service and mediocre food. It's clear that other diners have fared better than us in the past, but frankly even a small chance of spending an evening like we did tonight would make me steer clear of this place. read more

Went with a friend and spent about ~80 total. We ordered a chopped clam pizza, blue crab and angel hair pasta, salt cod fritters, and the parsnip hummus, and two drinks. I got the drink first - wish there were more bitterness or taste as it was slightly bland. The cod fritters were great though - super crispy and light at the same time, without losing the flavor of the fish. The parsnip hummus was also great, and probably my favorite. The grapes they put in the dish really added a good sweetness to the hummus The pasta I found a little dry because there was little sauce, but my friend really liked it. I did not try the pizza. Last night was my third time at this restaurant. I've read the vitriol about Scelfo, but have to call out the most outstanding service and care we got each time, from the staff at this place. From the moment you step inside and are greeted by a warm welcome, to the regular check-ins from the manager and the incredibly attentive waitstaff, to the smiles in the kitchen and the humor on the floor - this is a very special place. Of course, the food is phenomenal and the wine list perfect. Do yourself a favor and ask for recommendations - then take them! I can't wait to come back again...a gem in my book. read more

You know a place is hip if they got edison bulbs all over the place. And Waypoint does not skimp here. Went with some friends and split the pickled green salad, crab fries, chopped clam pizza and the lamb roast. Things to note - Damn those are some crabby fries. Someone said there was just old bay on them but i assumed it was crushed up essence of crab... still unclear what that is but I'm sticking to it. - Damn that pizza is clammy. But in a good way. - Roast just sorta fell apart, very lamby. I might choose a more fish based option in the future but I am here for it. - There was some sort of paste with squash that was really interesting. I think it might have had tamarind in it? I do. not. know. MYSTERIES. Also tried the Dr Banner which was delightful but the real weird cocktail goes to my friend who got the Submarine. It was like nori infused margarita and let me tell you... I dont like nori. I try to be a good millennial hipster and love seaweed but please stay out of my drinks thank you. But I like that it was weird and im sure people out there who like seaweed will love this drink. Overall. delighted. Bill came out to about $40pp AFTER tip. Waypoint was DELICIOUS. The menu has a raw bar, pizzas and pastas, small plates, and roasts for 2-3 people. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and I honestly think we could have ordered anything on the menu and had a great meal. We ordered Wellfleet oysters, which were fantastic. We then ordered the lamb shoulder roast, which is intended for 2-3 people (We were 2 of us). It was SO delicious, huge and so so tender. They gave us steak knives but honestly, we could have done with just a fork. We took what was left home and couldn't wait to tear into it as soon as we got home. I ordered the G train, a whiskey cocktail resembling a manhattan, and my boyfriend had an old fashioned. Both were fantastic. The ambiance was nice, a big space separated by the raw bar in the center, which was big but still felt cozy. I will definitely definitely return here. I hope to try more of their seafood and small plates, which is what they're known for. However, I am so glad we ordered the lamb shoulder because as a seafood restaurant, I'd imagine this dish is overlooked but is so good. Can't wait to return and try everything on the menu. read more

The setting is beautiful, and there is valet parking nearby. Very modern look, open raw bar and kitchen, although the legs of the tables were so big on our space that you literally had to straddle them to fit your feet. We were thinking of getting the Roast Lamb but at the last minute decided to try as many plates. I had a wonderful Matthiasson "Tendu" red from CA, and it was light and fresh which went well with our dishes. Our server let me taste it first, which was good. -Tuna Tartar on avocado (the special of the day) was excellent - fish was really fresh, firm and of very high quality sashimi grade -Steak Tartar with donut holes and egg with salmon roe: excellently prepared and the combination of the ingredients really tasty. Meat was also very fresh and of high quality -Soup Dumplngs : Don't order this one, it's not really worth it, I can get mush better in my local Sichuan place down the street, and it costs 1/4th -Maine Lobster Tail black rice, brown butter aioli, chili garlic oil. Very good, great texture when everything is combined. Not enough lobster meat, though -Arctic Char Belly: skin was perfectly crisp, the meat was tender and delicious -UNI BUCATINI, smoked egg yolk, pecorino, bottarga: Yes this is the bomb! Perfectly al dente, I would love to see more Uni, even if thy up the price, that would make it a perfect pasta dish by itself. Service was excellent although one of the male servers was a little cocky in replying (to my wife) "You could've told me I screwed up" when he brought my wife and daughter's drink in the incorrect placement, and he asked if it was correct to which my wife said "It's okay, I'll fix it". Waypoint's culinary creativity, consistent quality, service excellence, and the pleasant ambiance made for an outstanding date night. We enjoyed three types of oysters served on the half shell shucked cleanly. Followed with a whiskey-based lemon flavored cocktail, refreshing and crisp. The stars of the show were Overnight Roasted Tomato Pie with Sausage and the Oven Roasted Quail. Wood-fired pizza has always had a special place in my heart. Using a wood-fired oven on well-made dough results in a random pattern of crispy and softer parts of the dough which adds a complex texture. Waypoint's toppings rarely disappoint and the smoked ricotta and sausage combination was beautiful. Quail is a challenging food to cook, yet Waypoint executed masterfully. The Quail's crispy skin and juicy meat were able to take on some of the flavors from the smoked oyster filling. I found the sauce performed a delicate balancing act reducing the intensity of the smoky flavor in a manner that I wish I could emulate. Bravo! My only recommendation is that if you intend on visiting Waypoint, call ahead and ask for a window seat. Found this place on Boston Eater's Best Cocktails Right Now list. My bf and I were wandering around Harvard and MIT being out of town tourists, and found this place. It was definitely close to the area and had great reviews so we stopped in before our dinner reservation at Cafe Sushi across the street. The cocktails were unique here, since they have absinthe. I really liked trying their cocktails, because they had very different concoctions of absinthe cocktails in different flavors, for instance a sweeter absinthe drink, or a stronger absinthe drink. They had at least 4-5 diff absinthe cocktails, one for every taste bud. Oysters were excellent too. For 6 oysters, 4 drinks, and tax and tip, out the door it was $95. Not bad! Service was good, and bathrooms super clean. The restaurant is super new and has a fun atmosphere. Would be fun to try this place for dinner too. read more

I have only lived in Boston for 6 months and have tried over 65 restaurants since I've been here but I don't think any restaurant has made me say "WOW" and sit back in my seat like Waypoint. Top 3, if not top 1, dining experience I've had in Boston so far! I had been to Alden + Harlow and loved it so I thought I would give Waypoint a try Wait: The two of us had 8 PM reservations on a Saturday night and arrived 10 minutes early. The table before us was just finishing up their meal and we were seated right around 8...a great start to the evening. Setting: The restaurant is large and dimly-lit with high ceilings and interesting light fixtures. You walk in and immediately next to the hostess you will see the oyster bar filled with fresh oysters. Tables are sufficiently spaced so that even since it is a large restaurant, it feels intimate. You will not be elbow to elbow with other diners like at other seafood restaurants in the city like The Daily Catch or Neptune Oyster. Food: I usually reserve 5 stars on Yelp for restaurants that NAIL every single dish and Waypoint is no exception. When asked what my favorite was, I listed every single item below. I could not pick a favorite or even two favorites. I can only imagine what I didn't order which warrants a trip back! Nantucket Bay Scallop - Scallops and Pear...an unlike pair (get it?) but wow it was delicious. The scallops were rich and perfectly cooked and was complimented by the sweetness of the pear tart tatine. 3 more orders next time please! Maine Lobster Tail - though small, it was big on flavor with brown butter aioli and chili garlic oil. Though I don't love bread, I wish I had some bread to soak up all the sauce. I was relegated to having to use my fork continuously to savor every last ounce of sauce. Market Vegetables - perfectly cooked beets, spaghetti squash, and multi-colored potatoes dressed with a black garlic tehina (think hummus) and pistachios. Who knew vegetables could be so good (I'll take the recipe for this one please). Wood Roasted Char Belly - this is one we weren't initially planning on getting but the waiter recommended it and we were so glad they did. The fish was perfectly cooked while the skin was perfectly crisped. Octopus Polpetti - the only pasta dish we got but WOW that sauce. The pasta was covered in garum (a fish sauce), mint and chilies, yet another sauce I need the recipe for. The octopus came in the form of fried balls (looked like hush puppies) which we were surprised by but it was still delicious. Service was great! But truly the lack of working air conditioning in here basically ruined the meal. We didn't stay, order a drink, take our time. We wolfed down our food and ran out of the building so fast because it was just so miserably hot. read more

Short disclaimer: I came to Waypoint in May 2017, so the food we ordered then isn't all still on the menu, but I'm sure the quality now still stands up to our experience. Alright, here we go. My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday, so we were super ready to celebrate and enjoy our time. Long story short, we did. The ambiance of Waypoint is very cool with an open bar and nautical look. The service was excellent - our waiter gave us fantastic recommendations on drinks and food and was just generally friendly and easy to chat with. In all, we ordered Kenny's Bread Plate ($6), the ranch dusted fried clams ($17), the crispy char belly ($17), the uni bucatini ($22), and because we don't believe in limiting yourself to one dessert, the cornbread cheesecake ($9) AND the donuts ($9). First of all, who goes to an excellent and fairly pricey place for dinner and orders (read: pays actual money for) a bread plate?! I guess we do, and boy we were not sorry. This bread was the freshest, springiest bread you could imagine, served with kelp butter (um. YUMMMMM!!) and white bean puree with squid ink. I don't know what the hell else was in this white bean/squid ink puree but I could have eaten it as a whole meal. It was creamy, buttery, smooth, and had the slightest hint of ocean (and intrigue *wiggles eyebrows*) from the squid ink. The ranch dusted fried clams were the perfect bite of chewy (yet, tender!) oceany clams, perfectly snacky and yet filling. The ranch dust, folks, is NOT your run-of-the-mill cool ranch dorito dust - it was absolute crack, but in a whole new way. The whole thing was served with a grilled lemon wedge, which added a nice charred touch. The crispy char belly was the fattiest, freshest, and perfectly-crispiest piece of fish I'd ordered from a restaurant in a long time. It was perfectly plated with more heavenly bean puree (different beans, though), and a green salad with roasty grapes. The fish and bean puree were pure rich delciousness, but the salad balanced that out perfectly. The uni bucatini, as many before me have said, was a near-perfect plate of housemade pasta. The noodles themselves were perfectly al dente, and had that signature fresh-made pasta springy feel to them. The dish was FULL of uni, and was briny, salty from the pecorino and egg yolk, and very creamy, all somehow while not weighing us down. And finally, dessert. I'm personally a huge sucker for cornbread, so the cornbread cheesecake was MY KIND OF DESSERT. Rich, creamy, crunchy (from the popcorn and candied hazel nuts), and toasty (from the generous dollop of toasted meringue on top). It was DEFINITELY very corn-forward, but was perfectly balanced with a tart berry coulis swoosh on the plate. Yummo. The cinnamon-sugar donuts were exactly what we'd expect and hope for in a fancy donut. They were light, piping hot, and extremely crispy on the outside, only accentuated by the thick dusting of cinnamon sugar. The chocolate plate-swoosh was dark and rich and delicious, sprinkled with cocoa nibs. The plate came with 3 big old donuts, so for $3 a pop (truthfully a good deal), I'd eat these before eating basically any other donuts in this city. I seemed to have overlooked this place for over a year because it always seemed overcrowded and snooty. However, I decided to stop by and try their much acclaimed burger and crab dusted fries. Im so glad I did. This burger was reasonably priced, considering and I could tell it was good quality meat. It was juicy and all the trimmings were tasty, especially the pickles. Im not sure how they pickle them but they were good! The fries were yummy and only enhanced by the aioli dip. The restaurant itself is quite charming and customer service from the staff is one of the best I have experienced in Boston, if not the best! At all points of contact they were pleasant and always willing to assist. The rest of the menu looks just as appetizing and am excited and hoping to try their brunch menu at some point. read more
