Vibes! Drinks are silly... Green Maize get your mind right! Pork Bkade Steak, Steak tartar and charred broccoli for the win! Staff is dialed and proud of their work... they should be. Pull up!

Great selection of cocktails. The Green Maize, in particular, was excellent (the Tall Order was less to my taste). Food was generally quite good with some dishes being stronger than others. The chips and dip were a great bar snack starter. I wanted the polenta to have a little more flavor and the tofu to be crispier but the burger and chicken sandwich were both very good. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was typical bar vibes, comfortable though got a little louder later in the evening. Overall, a good experience and a solid neighborhood bar/restaurant!

What a welcome addition to the neighborhood! This is a casual yet spacious restaurant that serves a unique selection of cocktails and a good variety of food. Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu which was helpful since my friend has a gluten allergy. Here's what we ordered: Roasted Cod ($25) This is a must get! The cod was so buttery and flaky! It paired well with the saffron rice which had a risotto texture and it was flavorful in the preserved lemon butter. Denver Steak Frites ($37) My friend got this and it was pretty good. The steak was huge with steakhouse butter on top and a generous portion of rosemary fries on the side. The steak was tender with a nice char on the outside. Firecracker Tofu ($13) Nice appetizer to share. The honey gochujang made it a sweet and savory with a slight kick. I wish the tofu was crispier though! Also Fancy ($14) If you like fruity cocktails, you would love this cocktail as much as I did! It was just the right balance of alcohol and fruity flavors. Tall Order ($14) We expected something creamier with the coconut milk, but this was more like a fruity soda. Still good, just not what we expected. Overall, I think the entrees and the cocktails are worth going back for! The entrees were well executed and huge in portion size, and the cocktails were tasty.

tl;dr amazing addition to the neighborhood, perfect blend of cocktail bar and casual vibes. Excited to be back! My partner and I visited Tall Order on the first Friday it was open upon hearing that it officially live. I'd been to the Thirsty Scholar Pub in the same location many years before (and also knew it from The Social Network movie), but I was intrigued with the new theme that the new management was bringing. And Tall Order did not disappoint! We got the Firecracker Tofu for food, which was an excellent accompaniment to our drinks. The spicy and savory flavor profile was perfect, and was one of the tastier bar food appetizer options I've ever had. Drinks-wise, we started with the Tall Order cocktail and American Tourist (low alc) cocktail. Both were excellent - I personally felt that the Tall Order had a great balance of alcohol content and refreshing flavor. I followed up the second round with the Apple Baker cocktail, which was stronger and denser, but packed the right flavor. All in all, this is an excellent bar to have in the neighborhood. Food wise they have plenty of vegetarian options and are low alc and NA friendly. The staff are also friendly and helpful throughout our time there. I'm very excited to return soon to try more items on both the food and drink menus!

Had the burger and cod. Both were seriously delicious! The flavors were on point, and everything was super fresh. Service was great too - friendly and fast. Definitely coming back!

The Reuben was perfectly grilled and rich in flavor and the fries were lightly crispy and well seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic with a good array of flavor profiles. Service was great, as well, and we were well attended to throughout. While it's not necessarily fine dining, I would definitely recommend as an excellent option for drinks or a casual meal with family or friends!

The cocktails is where the place shines - all fantastic, perfectly balanced and delicious. Service was warm and inviting. Our bartender did a great job of walking us through the menu, and had a delightful personality that genuinely added to our experience. The front area feels closer to a coffee house or bookstore than a bar - which made it very cozy. I'd be interested in coming back for classes and workshops. While I do crave real chopped liver in lieu of eggplant or pastrami for beets - I honestly didn't feel like I was missing anything. Oh, and that dessert! Chocolate pave was so dang good.

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. It was such a cute hidden area, and I was already excited before we even got to the place. We headed upstairs into the bar, and the vibe was perfect. It's small, cozy, dimly lit, with vibey music playing. Since it was our first time, we were a little confused at first, but the waiter was super kind and walked us through everything. I ordered the Elly the Elephant and my friend got the Laughing Gull, and we both really enjoyed our drinks. One thing I thought was really nice is that they allow you to grab food from the surrounding restaurants and bring it in to eat there. We didn't end up doing that, but we did get the charcuterie board they had. It came with cheeses, crackers, and some fruit, and you can add meats for $10, which we opted out for. I will say I was a little disappointed by the fruit portion. The menu mentioned fresh fruit, so I expected more than three thin orange slices and one sliced strawberry. HOWEVER, when I asked for more strawberries, our waiter kindly brought out a whole bowl for me, which I really appreciated. We stayed for about two hours, and as the night went on the place definitely got more crowded, so we headed out. Overall, this is such a cute and cozy cocktail bar. I'll definitely be back when the weather is warmer to try the other drinks and restaurants in the market.

The place is unicorn material. I've been here maybe four times over several years. Shame on me for finishing this cumulative review now. The good news is every visit was solid. I've been here as a small and also large party. Sat at both the bar and table. Had reservations and also walked in. Visited in the summer and also winter. Weekends are tough to get in without a resy. It's tiny. And its Cambridge. Weekdays you'll be fine but reserve anyway. It's free. From bar to tables to booths, you're covered with seating. Can they serve a table for ten? Maybe but I wouldn't be that person. Check ahead of time. Drinks are strong. Sometimes sweet but mostly balanced. Food is yummy. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu.
