My wife and I were in the market for a CPO car and saw a Hyundai Tucson posted on their website that caught our eye for around $17k. We went to this dealer to inquire and found the car was sold that day before we got there. The salesman (Fred) told us they had comparable models outside of the showroom and we went to take a look. I saw a Santa Fe with a green hang tag with a price listed at around $16k for a 2017 model with many features that I wanted. I took it for a test drive and loved it. We walked back into the showroom to fill out paperwork and as he started we wanted to confirm the price and were told $23k. At that point we felt we were being swindled and thought that was an unfair sales tactic: Get the buyer to like something and jack up the price. We then spoke with the sales manager who assured us it was a mistake but he always checks the hang tags for accuracy. I guess he missed this one. And he went on to compare the mistake to a kid touching a burnt stove. We then felt that with them mistakenly labeling the price of a car and not honoring the price, why would we make a purchase there? The manager responded with "We sell over 200 cars per month, I think we know what we're doing," in a snarky way. If the vehicle had been priced properly I wouldn't have even test driven it. I understand mistakes happen but this is borderline egregious. Won't be going back here. read more

Was interested in a vehicle saw on a popular car saleS website and contacted them. Internet Sales person assured me with four confirmation emails that the car wAs available. One hour before I arrived there I received another email asking confirmation that I was coming. Once I arrived I waited about 25 minutes before salesperson introduces himself. 10 minutes later was told vehicle is not there. Talk about A serious "wtf" moment. I drove 35 mille and paid $20 in tolls for that BS! PISSED!!!! doesn't describe my anger. They even had the audacity afterwards to continue to send me updates of sales and invitations to their showroom. UNfreaking believable. read more

DON'T BOTHER! GO TO ANOTHER DEALER. Recently inquired about purchasing a new Genesis online. Received call from inside sales to come visit as they are running a special $2000 off MSRP sticker price. So, I drove 30 minutes to the dealership . Was greeted by a low energy , not very personable "salesmen"?? . I mentioned the $2000 special, and he immediately was negative and questioned it! "It may have expired he says. " I informed him I just spoke to your inside sales person today. He was not happy. He gets up to make the infamous walk to ask the manager.. Managers' name was Jay. Comes back with an offer. And here we go...the manager takes off the $2000 and then adds back over $2000 in fees (outside of standard fees and taxes)! $668 for security and glass Etching( not on sticker), like $700 for Docs, and another aprox $700 for other fees. I told them I was not happy, and they did not budge one dollar! "Sorry sir, thats what we charge." No negotiations. I was ready to purchase an over $50,000 car right there then, but the ole bait and switch occurred. I am not happy with Hyundai and Genesis. I've never seen this kind of bush dealings for a supposed luxury brand. read more

No stars. After receiving a lease buyout quote from Hyundai Finance, the dealership in Wayne tried to charge us $3,000 extra. We were shocked! They falsely said taxes an other fees had to be added. We left the dealership, and were able to purchase the car online for the original quote. read more

Visited with my wife before Christmas to replace our 2015 Santa Fe Sport. We had no appointment, but they weren't busy and assigned a salesperson (who I will not name). This person was unfortunately completely ignorant of the model we had, and when we asked how the new Santa Fe differed from ours, he pointed to one in the lot and said "There's one right there". Then he forgot we had asked about the Santa Fe and started describing the Tucson. We walked out and went to another dealer. read more

The sales experience was pretty good, I was able to get in and out of the dealership pretty quick. Bought a certified pre owned elantra with 15k miles. Suddenly the car start button started failing randomly. I called the service dept 3 times, and was told an advisor will call me right back. Well, nobody did call me so I called them a 4th time. The service advisor told me they have no service appointments available until February 2024! (It is now September). I explained them that this was unacceptable, my first car payment is not even due and this car is already leaving me stranded. The advisor told me I could drop the car off for few days, but they would have no loaners to give while the car is being checked. I told him it didn't make sense, I shouldn't be the one being inconvenienced but he told me there was nothing he could do. As I'm writing this review, my car is no longer starting (not even with a remote start). If I could return this garbage and forget about this dealership all together I would. read more

Avoid them like the plague. I was interested in a hybrid, but since they didn't have any available they attempted to sell me a plug-in thinking I wouldn't notice. It doesn't surprise me, they're owned by Bergen Auto Enterprises, which also owns Wayne Mazda, and the state attorney general sued them for deceptive marketing for their shady practices. Look it up. I brought in my Genesis Coupe for a Warranty repair (engine rebuild). Later that day I opened the hood and discovered that it was roughly 1/4" out of place which resulted in damage to the hood and both fenders. Wayne Mazda claims that they are not responsible for the damage. There are fresh wrench marks on the bolts holding the hood. At the minimum, they had to open and close the hood to replace the fluids. There are no notes in the service order stating that they had any problems opening or closing the hood. read more

I went to the Wayne dealership to learn about the palisades SUV ... well carl came out asked for my drivers license and handed me the key.. he never went over what the car did or didn't do. His answer was I thought you would have done your research. Since I looked at the telluride which was way more nicer and the dealership was so nice at the tellurid... I wish I had looked on Yelp before going here! FI and I spent a Saturday afternoon car shopping, passing up a great deal at another dealership to check out Hyundais. I've purchased two new Hyundais myself, so I'm loyal to the brand. The salesman we met with could not have been better to work with. After we test drove and fell in love with an SUV, we sat down for negotiations. Early into the discussions, FI asked if could negotiate the price and the salesman went to consult someone else. Another man came back with him and took over the conversation. He REFUSED to budget on the price even the slightest bit! He was happy to offer us an extremely long term loan or have us lease a car to get our monthly payment down, but he absolutely would not budge on the price. We also asked if they could locate a cheaper model, either a 2014 or a more basic model, and they refused to make any effort to do so. We were floored. Fortunately, he gave up very quickly and sent us on our way. Monday, someone called my FI and asked how the experience was. He relayed it, and the lady was as surprised as we were that the dealership representative refused to come down at all from the MSRP. She told him that they never sell cars for MSRP! Total waste of time. There are plenty of other Hyundai dealerships in the area--please don't bother with this one! read more

I reached out to Wayne Hyundai a few weeks ago and received a response from a sales person. I tried following up via chat, email, and phone, and was essentially ignored. I made an appointment for 3:30 PM today and waited around but there were two sales people for a room full of customers. At 4:10 PM I left after being ignored for forty minutes with no sign of assistance anytime soon. What a disappointment. read more

The morning of the day it cAme the manager told me they mailed it out over a month ago in April and that they were going to stop payment on it. When I got home, the check was there so I scrambled to tell him not to stop payment. It appears I made this request in time. Luckily my saga with this place is over. Terrible Customer Care The Salesman presents car terms he feel will sell the car then the Finance guy changes terms, charges you more and will even go as far as blame you for the reasons they have changed the terms. STAY AWAY. There are too many other dealerships that don't play games like this. Lastly, beware if you have an agreement, signed all documentation and have even given a downpayment..... they will disregard and try charging more. read more

So there are two reasons I am giving this dealership 5 stars... 1. Jarred! The absolute best sales guy you will ever work with. He's personable and gets where you are coming from. He was patient with us from the start and literally just wanted to make us leave there smiling. I did not buy my car here, but brought it into the Mazda/Hyundai service department for a few recalls and one new battery. My first few experiences were wonderful. Very helpful and polite. However..... I brought my car in for a recall, and it came out with a dent, which I immediately reported. They told me the manager would have to call me about repairing it. I never heard from the manager, despite 5 calls to the dealership. I finally called Hyundai corporate for them to intervene. The manager picked up instantly for them. But here's the clincher... the service manager and assistant dealer manager were both on the call with corporate and claimed that Rob, the assistant manager, had called me and told me that they were not claiming responsibility or fixing the car! Firstly, I have never spoken to any manager at this dealership, hence the reason for my calling corporate, and secondly, this is the first time I am learning that they are not accepting responsibility. I called back immediately to speak to either of these 2 lying men, and they told me neither was available, did I want to leave a message? They were available 5 minutes earlier to speak with corporate, but when I gave my name, they were no longer available! I left another acerbic message and still have not received a call back. Is this any way to treat a customer or run a service department? PS, the dent is still there! read more

Fantastic staff, selection, and quality. I have never had a better experience buying, or looking to buy, a car. I could not have found a better used car of this type or price point. Very refreshing after going through a lot of dealers with either prices to get you in the door that don't apply to you or who rack up lists of hidden costs. Bought a used GMC 3 weeks ago. I took it back after driving it for 1 week due to steering issues leaking back window and water in my tail light. It took them 2 WEEKS to get my truck back to me. As I am getting ready to leave I turn the AC ON... and guess what... it DOESN'T work!! I turn around to take it back and now their AC machine is out of service for a few days and they say they can't get me a loaner car for 2 WEEKS!!! Are you kidding me ?! I spend $25k and get to drive my truck for 1 week, then spends 2 weeks in the service department and now want me to drive it with no AC?! UNACCEPTABLE! I am extremely dissatisfied with their handling of this matter. Their quality control on the used vehicles that they sell is extremely lacking. Update... they were able to get me rental car to drive after waiting one week and have no a/c in my newly purchased vehicle. They have now had my truck for 8 days and even after asking to be kept updated on the status of the repairs they haven't called me once. I don't mind driving a brand new car while they fix the used one I purchased, but it's almost starting to feel like it's taking longer then need be on purpose so the 3 month warranty runs out. Still unsatisfied with the service experience with this dealership, and the sales department that had no problem selling a used truck with a laundry list of things that didn't work at all or didn't work properly. UPDATE... so dealer says they are willing to take the GMC back, and put my down payment towards another vehicle. GREAT, or so I think. I go over to the dealer test drive a new Hyundai, sales manager states that the down payment I put on the GMC will be applied to new car. BUT the next day they call and change the story and say that they are taken $1,500 off of my deposit amount?!?!?! Unbelievable, here I thought that they would rectify selling me a vehicle that needed so much work and having a vibration problem and they go back on their word last minute! DO NOT GET A HYUNDAI TUSCON TO LEASE OR BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have a known transmission defect that hyundai is absolutely aware of! my BRAND NEW 2016 Hyundai tuscon broke down on the GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic while my KIDS WERE IN THE CAR and truck ended up almost hitting us in the back! After calling the dealership and service to make them aware of the situation and what had transpired, i was hoping they would give me some advice; the only advice i was given was "THIS IS WHAT TUSCONS DO, and CORPORATE IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM." DO NOT BUY OR LEASE THIS VEHICLE... i am unfortunately stuck for another two years because they refused to help me get out of the lease even after telling me that this could be hazardous and could possibly happen again!!! read more
