"Free" until they turn off the power because you have a Tesla
Rich D.

Update: after a snarky comment back from someone at management of this ford I would never recommend anybody buying a car from here. Check PlugShare Solaiman because you have the charger listed as free. There are PLENTY of free charging spots I have found on PlugShare over the years, so not entitled, just wanting a dealership to follow through when it says free on PlugShare. But nonetheless car dealers are slimy people so what can you expect?

Never trusting them again!!!!

In response to Steven S. From rt 23 Automall: My "prior buying habits" have never been a problem for me to the point where I was able to do business with a very well-known reputable financial institute a couple of years before coming to you and have been in good standing with them ever since 2014. The only reason I had any interest in coming in to inquire about a vehicle was due to seeing what my options would be on the advice of Jeff, (which was your only saving grace) to fixing the costly issue with my current vehicle. And just to add after leaving your establishment without so much as a word or status of the progress or lack there of with my possible purchase, I was approved with another dealership and a financial institution that wanted to do business with me with all of the Non-existent Faults of my non-existent "buying habits" purchasing past. If things were that horrible for me (which the majority is School Loans) I wouldn't have ever even been considered, told to get a co-signer or even been approved and EVEN then with ALL of that I STILL would've been given the COURTESY of a CALL or an EMAIL. So like I told your manager in the private message/inbox on yelp when I was contacted about this same review, (which once again is MY opinion and My Experience), PLEASE don't try to BLAME your lack of PROFESSIONAL Courtesy on MY Uncle, a person that was Very GOOD to you and your business and on my recommendation or try to make my Non-existent circumstance out to be Worst Than It Is or Have EVER Been!!!!! You should THANK Jeff for his doing his best definitely, but like I told him, I don't blame him as much as do all of you. Yes, he could've gotten in touch, since he was the one I was dealing with (and my uncles purchase and mines were completely separate), but when he handed it off to the financing part of the dealership it falls on them also, not only to get in touch but also since I was approve for a loan from another dealership and a financial institution without any issues in the same time frame of 1 or 2 days, so what DRAMATICALLY change in that time that would make the loan possible for them to get for me. And I also blame you guys Not Jeff for the constant harassment over MY review. So I hope THIS was the response you were looking for, since this is the best that I can do. Good day to you!!!

Brought couple of 2019 F550 cutaways for warranty work and each time I got them back, I had to fix myself what they did incorrectly. Patty in service department is useless. She does not know anything about the commercial vehicle and she was my service rep. It seems they're answer each time was to replace the very expensive exhaust system and try to tell me my turbo issue fix was to replace the DPF filter and that I should be impressed Ford was spending so much money on replacing the 5 thousand dollar filter. Rt 23 commercial is a joke. If you have a large commercial, then you don't have much choice in the tri-state area for warranty as Rt 23 can fit them in their shop. Its a shame that they're wasting the shop time employing sub-par, obviously untrained or unsupervised techs. I do not know how they're in the commercial business and I suggest to any and all commercial operators to avoid Rt 23 EVEN for warranty repairs.

STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ESPECIALLY THE GENERAL MANAGER, SOLOMON FAIZI. Stopped in today to purchase a vehicle from this dealer. Spoke to them the day before and they assured me the vehicle would be ready for a test drive upon arrival. Got there, the vehicle was sitting out front. -More damage on the exterior of the vehicle than we were told but nothing horrible. Went in and Solomon is the person who helped me. From the beginning he fouled things up. Very rigid and already giving off the vibe that he wasn't interested in helping but our interest outweighed his bad attitude.. Went to start the car and it was dead. Finally went out for a test drive and test things out with the electronics. I noticed the service engine light was on. I also see the mileage is over 20k miles. On the website it listed at 18k. Not a big deal but more annoyance. I begin to test the terrain management system and it comes back as an error. So in addition to the snarky attitude, dead battery, wrong mileage and service light, now the 4WD system doesn't work. I mentioned the service engine light ( he comes back with an excuse) I'm a straight shooter so this annoyed me but I still tried to pull together a deal for my wife. I mentioned the wrong mileage and he says, no it's say 19k on the website. I responded with no, it said 18k and it also says it on the one sheet taped to the window. He didn't response to that, instead just kept looking at his computer as if the answer would appear. While waiting for an appraisal on our trade, I was bombarded with details of how he usually sells $100k trucks and they're used to dealing with high dollar sales. I was unimpressed by the pompous, pretentious image. It was clear he had no business tact. He was unwilling to negotiate any price concession or offer a bit more on the trade-in price. So after getting nowhere, we got up and left. Grabbed lunch on the way out of town and laughed at how absolutely horrible that experience was.

The only real progress was made when I drove an hour and a half to deal with it in person. My temporary tags expired, and I was left driving on expired tags for nearly two weeks with no clear timeline for my registration or permanent tags. At one point, I was even told to just "get a ticket and they would cover it," which is an unacceptable solution to a problem they created. There was also an issue with the car that should have been caught during their "extremely extensive" pre-buy inspection, and getting reimbursed took nearly four times longer than what I was originally told. Dealing with them was frustrating from start to finish. Would not recommend.

Kia Riverdale is hands-down one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. From the moment…read moreI walked in, it was clear the staff operates with zero respect for customers and full focus on manipulation and pressure tactics. The sales team was dishonest, evasive, and clearly trained to confuse rather than inform. Pricing changed multiple times, explanations never matched the paperwork, and every question was treated like an inconvenience. Nothing about the process felt transparent -- it felt calculated. Once they realized I wasn't going to be bullied into a bad deal, the attitude flipped completely. I was ignored, brushed off, and treated like my time didn't matter at all. Professionalism disappeared instantly. The finance process was especially bad -- rushed, misleading, and full of red flags. I would not trust this dealership with anything involving contracts, money, or honesty. Avoid Kia Riverdale at all costs. There are plenty of dealerships that don't rely on deception and pressure to make a sale. This place does, and it shows.

He sold and installed a new $100 plus dollar rear axle with full pop labor charges, (and a used chrome castle nut) by knowingly installing the axle dry and tight without any assembly lube whatsoever an axle that was machined so tight in the wheel and adjusters that it had to be cut back out of the frame before this bike had EVER even been started much less after a flat tire in the middle of nowhere after having actually being driven. I've been a rider, owner, enthusiast wrench since 1965 and never have I ever had to cut a brand new axle axle out of a bike. But wait, there's more... He replaced the trans bearings and resealed the transmission that I carried in that literally then fell out of the frame when I came back and then picked it up to trailer it (instead of paying his guy to trailer it instead) scratching the brand new chrome transmission end cover that I had to replace, all because he never even took the time bolt it in to frame with at least one ten cent nut for safety and yet said nothing about the trans not being secured to my freshly powder coated frame. Then in some rant he even threatened to call Bel Art, the powder coating company I used to powder coat my parts out of pocket with my cash money for my bike to complain about the prices that I payed saying he would put a stop to the public getting powder coating at that price. Which he must have done because Bel Art no longer accepts carry in work. This guy brags about how he alone can only do sheriff department work because nobody else can do what he does that the taxpayers afford to begin with. Doesn't give written estimates prior to repair then does what he wants, or doesn't want, doesn't call for prior authorization or provide timely cost estimates after you leave then hands you a budget busting heavy handed bill instead and then jumps bad at the counter and threatens to keep and lien sale the bike if he doesn't get what he demands when you're handed his bill for your signature after the fact. I ordered, bought and paid for a new axle elsewhere and made two trips to get one after cutting it out of the frame myself and reinstalling another new axle. I replaced the damaged new chrome transmission side cover and replaced that myself too, a transmission by the way that he did not put oil into either, and said nothing.l about it being dry without lubricants. I ordered and payed for the grommets and made two trips to Bergen and removed and replaced the chrome fasteners that should have been installed with the grommets instead of just the fasteners he sold that scratches the powder coated surfaces. I then ordered and bought the OEM factory transmission fasteners he did not have or would you not install nor said anything about as a part of the transmission reseal that he charged parts and labor for including new end bearing after charging over one thousand dollars payment for in cash. These examples weren't a bad day at the shop, these were deliberate by a guy who knows exactly what he's doing and did it anyway. He's covertly and overtly hostile and guilty of highly predatory business practices and gives a bad rep on the indie shops in general with the motoring public and for his part he alone is responsible for the downturn in the local market place for labor and parts rates because of his business ethos and chop shop practice, techniques, and mentality.
