Rodeo burger meal
James K.

A solid burger joint. A little on the pricey side, if you ask me. But the thing that sold it for me was the onion rings were actually fried rings of onions. I got the Rodeo burger and after a bite, had a big ol' price of vindalia (or white/yellow onion?) onion waving at me. I love when I can recognize the ingredient of the foods I am consuming! It isn't crazy busy, so the food seems to always be made to order and fresh. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here; but would definitely drop by if I was in a crunch and the line at BK was too long.

Bill H.

This is a really solid burger place. Their burgers, fries, and milkshakes are always great. I personally come here not for the burgers, but instead for the fried chicken BLT. This place seriously knows how to make a fantastic fried chicken sandwich. The batter they use on their chicken is incredibly delicious, and it is fried to perfection. Whereas many places fail in keeping the chicken juicy after frying, Wayback succeeds remarkably. I also really enjoyed the sourdough bun they used, as it complemented the chicken very well. My only complaint is that there was perhaps a bit too much mayonnaise on the sandwich, which to me was not a huge deal since I like mayonnaise. I can see this being an issue for many people, hence one star off. Despite that, I will undoubtedly be back here just for that fried chicken BLT for a quick lunch. And of course their burgers and shakes are always solid.

Good burgers and fries! Service was good and relatively fast. Ambience is retro drive-in diner.

A decent burger and fries joint. Usually prompt service and a short wait while things are cooked. A bit pricier though.

Our burgers were really dry and overly saucy. Honestly, we would've preferred a fast-food chain burger to what we had at Wayback!

It is very tasty. It's very soft. It has a soft roll, the meat is tender and juicy, and the cheese sauce is velvety. It comes with chips which add a nice crunch. Nice lively crowd.

Sports bar- Eagles vibe w/ a decent draft list. The kegs weren't working (seems to happen at every bar we attend these days) but still enjoyed a Mike & Merrill Philly Hazy IPA. Wings a good size, crisp, you know, the way wings used to be before everyone started charging an arm & a leg & serving broken pigeon wings. Classic "Buffalo" sauce & blue cheese dressing were good. FINALLY tried famous Caramel Burger (which I missed several times at the Hamburger festival). It did not disappoint. Good size, flavorful patty, & what these people do best- the bacon jam & caramelized bacon. The sweetness of the onions sings thru. Order it! Husband ordered seasonal special Frikadellen/Bratwurst Smash Burger. Skipping right to it- the cottage fries. (Gracie's/Louie's if you had this all the time we'd have no beef! LOL) INCREDIBLE! Crisp, thin, tender, amazing. If you follow me you know I am over the frozen fries served at every eatery in this country. Finally, amazingly pleasant, genuinely happy, server- Reese. She was on my side throughout this whole foodie journey, even the beer & burger mishap (initially burger served w/o cheese sauce). She's a keeper! We'll be back & will spread the word! Till then, stay on your toes! Thank you Louie's for a great meal.

I didn't give them that but still. Our total came out to $78. My friend got scrambled eggs, hash browns, french toast, and an espresso martini. I got Brussel sprouts and a mocktail. The brussel sprouts are $15. It was a starter. The mocktail was $15. Also got my brussel sprouts spilled all over the table from the waitress. She then gave me a second one. I don't even know if they charged me for it. Overall fun experience but probably won't come back because of how expensive it is.

The calamari was fine shavings of calamari coated with fried breading and a strange heavily Parmesan cheese sauce. The gnocchi was eh.... The whipped feta did not add anything great to it. Someone at our table asked for bread and they told us after looking at him in a very confused way... responded with, " sure we can get you bread, focaccia bread, but it may take 20 minutes." The main thing is the water took 10 minutes to get to the table and our drinks took a half an hour after the water came. One appetizer came out 20 minutes after that and then another 25 minutes after that the dinners came out. All in all... We didn't get any food for over an hour and 15 minutes. The wait staff and manager had no idea how slow everything was and we were the only table that ordered. Everyone other table was eating already. The ambience is OK... It's not great and it was so cold. It was uncomfortable. We sat in the back garden room. The entire restaurant was too cold.

Souvlaki, FLAVORLESS. No char, smoke, depth. Tasted like you pan-fried a chicken breast then skewered it. Smaller & presented sloppier. (Compare the pics). Lamb Shank Yvetsi still tender, but for the love of God what happened to the orzo? Burned in my memory how flavorful it was (it had depth!) This time, like you dumped Hunts over pasta. Honey Baked Feta was fair, but nothing measurable. Saganaki had last time, actually way better & I regret not giving it a fairer shake. Telia Chips were standout of the evening. Light fry, tempura-like breading, creamy tzatziki. Sad, if fried zucchini is best part of the meal. Food disappointment aside. It was my birthday. Could've picked from a dozen places in Chester Co, but drove to Berks for you. Hostess, zero acknowledgement. Waitress, zero acknowledgement. Not angling for free desert or a song, just acknowledge me! NEVER have I told service persons (or a stranger on the street) it's my birthday & had them gloss right over it, purse their lips & walk away. My present, within 5 min of check drop was asked to evacuate the table. Heartbroken to learn of Willoughby's closing:-( Close this place too, obvious you're not in it.

My husband and I assessed Austin's differently. He ordered prime rib which he said was nothing short of perfect. Cooked medium rare as requested, tender, juicy -- he savored every bite. I scanned the menu. Nothing jumped out at me. (I generally don't gravitate to steakhouse-type restaurants.) I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs. My point of comparison is Longhorn's which offers more of a bang-for-a-buck, and in my opinion better tasting ribs. Not to say that Austin's aren't good. They are. Based on the popularity of Austin's, it's clear management knows what they're doing. But I think a small salad and baked potato should be available with the price of the entree -- not worth the extra $7 I was going to be charged. The salad is listed as 'field greens,' -- which it's not -- but reading the menu you'll see they mean iceberg and romaine. The salad was good, enhanced by their garlic ranch dressing. We washed down our meals with well-priced drinks: merlot ($8.90) and Blue Moon ($6.90), then splurged on dessert. Austin's flourless double chocolate brownie a la mode is very rich. One order for two adults is plenty. Austin's is aptly described as a family restaurant. A lot of kids. A lot of noise. Service is friendly and on-the-ball. While not my kind of restaurant, if prime rib is your thing -- this could be the place!
