One of Edmonton's hidden gems for fried chicken! This place easily beats KFC and Popeyes--crispy,…read moreflavorful, and cooked to perfection. The chicken is packed with taste, and the crunch is unbeatable. It comes with 'spuds,' which are essentially fries but with a unique twist. Service? Friendly and efficient--no complaints there. The ambiance is clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a great spot to dine in. If you love fried chicken, this is a must-try. You won't be disappointed!

There's a long list of reasons why Ralph's Fried Chicken is hands down the best fried chicken I've…read moreever had. First of all--the name. My dad's name is Ralph, so I already had a soft spot. But the moment you walk in and see the slogan, "Crispy on the outside, happiness on the inside!", you know you're in for something special. Clever--and absolutely true. The staff is exceptionally warm and hospitable, making you feel genuinely welcome, and the restaurant itself is spotless. Now for the food... every order is made fresh and brought to you by hand. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with generously sized pieces that are cooked to perfection. And then there are the taters--next level. Skin-on, so you know they're fresh, perfectly seasoned, and somehow creamy and buttery inside, like mashed potatoes in disguise. The gravy is the ideal companion for both the chicken and the taters: rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Last but definitely not least, the coleslaw is spot-on--creamy yet crunchy, with a great balance of flavor. If I could give Ralph's Fried Chicken six stars, I would. Don't walk--run to Ralph's Fried Chicken

The chilis and jalapeños on the chicken provided a savoury , flavourful contrast to the sweetness of the soy sauce, and wasn't too spicy. I like that they added some rice sticks to the chicken.

The sauce is sweet with a bit of heat but too sweet for my taste & too much of it. The poutine was a good amount of cheese & gravy but the fries were undercooked. The bubble tea was not good. All powder & the pearls tasted stale. The service sadly was not good. The one man who was there was very nice & polite so this isn't his fault but he was the only one there. There was one customer eating when I went in, then after ordering a couple came in, then a group of 3. I waited just over 15 minutes. It would have been nice to sip on the bubble tea while I waited but you can't have one person taking phone orders, counter orders, cooking, & making bubble teas & not have something suffer. I don't know if they're short staffed or someone is just cheap but there should have been another person there. I would go back & try it again with a different sauce & maybe ask for it on the side. A last note, their website would not open on both my iPhone & iPad.

The staff were really great and observant and saw that when more people arrived for our party they moved from behind the counter and moved tables together for us so we could all sit together. We ordered The Queen $16.99 on the black bun $2.99 (extra)and it was very juicy, definitely something you want to eat right away because it was rich in sauce and juice. The black bun was interesting. We also ordered sweet potato fries $5.99 (not cooked crispy enough for my liking, cactus cuts $6.99 (really crispy but tasty), and regular fries $4.99 (perfect crispy level and very lightly if anything tasted like non-salted, which I kind of liked more). I also got to taste The Colonel $10.99 - which I liked this crispy chicken burger quite a bit and this is what I'd come back and order). Friend also tried the butter chicken poutine $9.99 and commented that it wasn't too spicy even though they don't like any spice- so might even be a good kids option if your looking for one. A large spacious bathroom and parking in and around the strip mall area.

The menu is above the order counter where I was pleasently surprised to see that the prices are actually the same as on their website. The prices are very reasonable. I picked The Farmer's Feast and my guests both selected the Oilers burger. I can't say that I could see any connection between the names and the burgers but that's okay. My burger was quite tasty and tender. This was definitely not a fast food frozen beef paddy. Surprisingly it wasn't even very messy. We ordered yam fries and onion rings as well. Ambiance was non-existent but perhaps that's why the prices were so good. If you are looking for a good burger at a very good price then check out Meat The Bun. I recommend it.
