Very mediocre full breakfast. Mushroom was undercooked. Service was slow and not friendly. Fruit was fresh.

We are new to Chappelle area (actually to Canada) and wanted to try a local restaurant. I heard…read morethey had new management/ owner and thought "let's try". We will return. My husband and I wanted to watch a particular NCAA football game and they were quick to accommodate. We had a friendly waitress and quick service. I will say it wasn't very busy although picking up as we were leaving. We ordered the Detroit style pizza. We will say it's good pizza and would eat it again, but not quite true Detroit style, but I'm sure the same could be said about poutine in the States. If I need a convenient place to grab a drink or pub style food I will not hesitate to try again. I see they also have a split happy hour. Open -5 and 9-close. Good to know!

Well, I don't think we'll be going there a second time, unfortunately. We tried the $20.99 Wings…read moreAll You Can Eat deal. For the first round, you get side choices like salad, veggies, fries, yam fries, onion rings, and nachos. From the second round on, additional sides cost $1.99 each. The sides were fine; the regular fries and yam fries were good. But the wings were disappointing, especially the boneless chicken, which was way tooooooo salty to taste the flavor we picked. The regular wings and dusted wings were too dry. By the third round, you only get four wings each time until you finish. After eating the wings that night, I had stomach issues and indigestion, as that was the only meal I had that day. As for the sauces, their Louise 92 is probably the best. I also tried the SOS sauce, which wasn't very spicy but still good. I ordered beers but was told there was no Bud Light or Budweiser, so I got lemonade cocktails in four flavors. They tasted like water with little vodka or flavor. The only flavor I could taste was "Peach," which actually tasted like lychee. It wasn't a busy night, and the service was alright but quite slow. The waiter was nice and friendly. The music was fine, not too loud or too quiet, which was good. But sorry, overall, the wings were not good.

She was kind, thoughtful, speedy and friendly. The best server we have had in a long time. A great menu. It pretty basic Italian, appetizers, pizza, and pasta with a good wine menu. We decided to start with Whipped Ricotta with brioche bread, which was rich and delightful. My kiddo went with the Spaghettini Bolognese. I had the mini margarita pizza, and my husband went with the four meat. The food came out quickly and all of it was delicious. My kiddo ate up happily all of her spaghettini. I enjoyed my pizza and my husband had no complaints with his. We liked the whipped ricotta so much, we ordered a second one to take home. If you are in the south side and is craving Italian try this out!

Ambiance felt casual enough, but the environment was bright and warm. And our server was a delight, she was very attentive and genuinely very accommodating. Food: - Whipped Ricotta: 10/10 Beautiful, a must get. My absolute favorite dish of the night and the reason I'm even writing this review - it was THAT good. The ricotta is smooth, sweet, and garlicky. We ordered the tomato dipping sauce on the side to add to it, and that added a layer of acidity that was reminiscent of a fancy pizza in itself - Green beans: 6/10 Nothing special, bacon was good. Sauce was fine. Really just a solid veggie dish if you're looking for something green to eat - Karaage: 6.5/10 Not really actual karaage, texture was stringier than a juicy piece of chicken, but it's definitely covered in togarashi (spice) for an added kick. The dill sauce was great though - flavored really well. And adding the tomato dipping sauce to the chicken was actually a next level elevation - Vegetarian pizza: 7.5/10 Those mushrooms were so flavorful in every possible dish and this was no exception. Crust was light and crispy. All the vegetables were seasoned so well. - Gnocchi Bianca: 9.5/10 Beautiful. Delicious. Gnocchi was perfectly cooked with a soft, pillowy texture. Sauce was creamy and not too salty even with the smoked bacon. - Pumpkin cheesecake: 8/10 Texture wasn't too heavy. Flavor wasn't overbearing. Whipped cream was thicker than expected - but its flavor was decadent without being too much. Great taste. Wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend.

The staff were getting busy when we arrived after a show at the citadel but they were quick and made sure to still check on us frequently. Waters were never empty and our food came out promptly after we ordered. I was immediately drawn to the fermented purple corn drink (Ponche De Chicha) which was so delightful! Fruity but not over powering. A nice amount of ice and an interesting pineapple garnish to go with an interesting drink. We were also very eager to try the brussel sprouts, which were absolutely amazing! Brussels Sprouts Elote: honey glazed Brussels sprouts and drizzled with that chipotle lime aioli, and so much feta cheese. Plus I believe a portion of sales of this dish goes to the food bank. Always love supporting a good cause while enjoying good food. To finish it off we had to dip into the dessert menu and get the Sticky pudding. The sauce divine and I wished for a smidge more. A touch over salted but still delightful. I still stand by my review 7 years ago this place gets the full 5 stars!
