Always great food at bodega! So glad they have a location in the south now - Ellerslie. We had the "8 for $88" which is 8 dishes for $88 and includes a jug (750ml) of wine. It was more than enough food and wine for the two of us. The grilled beef was delicious! Always happy to be back!

Good place to go with friends or date, but don't recommend Sunday family Style for $40 each person because the menu was all set already. So really depends on what you will get. Forgot to take photos on what we've got from Family Style except the desert. I ordered additional dishes which the duck carpaccio, chicken livers and sardine fish I've seen them from their online menu and got my interest to try. The duck carpaccio and chicken livers which I would highly recommend to try with their cheese menu. The Sardines I would suggest the kitchen to put a little bit whiskey to reduce the ocean smells. But not too bad Felt the kitchen/cooks were really love butter on some dishes, so a little bit too much. Service was good, course one by one. The lady who was behind the bar, think might be the supervisor or the owner was very catching up my eyes. You are amazing. Anyhow, worth a shot on Tuesday for tapas buffet. Cheers,

For NYE, we decided to make a reservation to try their set menu. The menu was $100 dollars and optional wine pairing for $50. The restaurant is modern and cool inside. We sat by a window which was nice but relatively close to another table which was challenging to chat with my partner. The server was corteous and friendly. I started with the beet salad with orange and pistachio dressing, 10/10 delicious and so fresh. The appetizer was a Mediterranean bruschetta with a cheese crostini. It was also very good 9/10. The entree, chilean sea bass, with a cheesy potatoes, asparagus, and hearts of palms. The bass was amazing, the potatoes were slightly undercooked and the hearts of palms were outstanding, 9/10. The dessert was a cheesecake which was burnt, 7/10. Overall, amazing food but desserts definitely not their strength. I would highly recommend!

We loved everything - Tomato Lambrusco, Duck Carpacio, Grilled Tiger Prawns, Grilled rack of lamband grilled ocotopus. They even threw in an olive oil cake for free. The food was nicely presented and the flavours were there. I think our favourite was the rack of lamb. Although the grilled ocotopus was wonderful as well. Service was fine but not standoutish. Great ambiance. Love the open air feel of the place. Perfect spot to catch up with a friend with a glass or two of wine and some good bites.

It had a lot of green tones which were relaxing. Nice place to chat with friends. Service was also good. Server was prompt, friendly and kind. Food though was hit and miss. The citrus fennel salad was our favourite thing on the menu. Fresh, full of flavour and plentiful. It had a variety of textures and flavours. I would highly reccomend this. The special of the day was aranchini was also very tasty The beef carpacio however was very bland. The pasta was okay tasting but cold and nothing to write home about. Dessert was a cormeal blueberry cake. This was tasty but a little dry. In general it was a nice evening, but really they need to improve on the quality of food.

We ordered 5 dishes and 2 desserts for 4 people and every dish was a winner. Anchovy toast w pickled lemon sat atop a crunchy toast. The taste profile was perfect. I could have eaten a full plate! Next was carpaccio w hazelnuts and pickled butternut squash and pea shoots. So good we had two plates. Buratta w beets and blood orange was creamy and delicious on chewy bread. Miso cod was cooked well - still fork tender and moist on bok choy w pickles to give a kick. The desserts were wonderful - sorbet was berry w sage and candied almonds. The other was lime meringue served in a cute bowl. Creamy and w crunchy crust. They also had a wine of the day and a good selection of alcohol-free drinks. Try the alcohol free sangria. Yummy. Definitely a place to impress your date or spouse or friends. Just be comfortable w sharing. :) technically, they have the miso cod and steak that could serve as a traditional entree and just order a few apps to start for a more traditional meal if that's your fancy.

The Whipped Ricotta was also delicious but hers and my favorite was the panino. The servers were very friendly and polite and made it a pleasant experience. It is not a full dish restaurant so if you are expecting a Joey experience, this is not the place. While we were there, a party of 6+ showed up and sat down expecting that and ended up leaving. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something a little more intimate.

They were still willing to serve us food to go though when my friend initially asked for menus they said to go? . Super disappointing we drove a half an hour to make it on time and rushed and everything thinking that an hour and 20 minutes before it closes is more than enough time for a quick Dinner service for two people and obviously we're not a-holes so when the entire staff is ready to just shutter early and leave, we're not gonna be the two people that insist that they stay open. The guy working there was really nice to my friend apparently though. So nothing against the staff personally or anything. Oh, and the gazebo is getting wild. There's some guy out there screaming about cutting some girl named Kristen's head off so if there's any violent crimes tonight, we're audible witnesses lol

For dinner I had the focaccia with whipped ricotta, a sazerac, the gnoochi, and an affogato for dessert. This menu is meant for sharing. We decided to split some dishes - the tuna crudo, the meatballs with grilled foccacia, and the cauliflower. There was some hits and some misses. The hits first - tuna crudo was great with fermented mango, coconut milk and sesame crackers. Fresh and exciting. The second one I loved was the meatballs. The sauce was amazing and meatballs were full of flavour. Make sure you order the bread to soak up all the sauce. These two I would totally recomend. The two that were disappointing was the cauliflower. It comes as a whole head and the idea is that you cut it into pieces. So the sauce doesn't really penetrate the cauliflower and the sauce was okay but seemed to berry forward. The pizza was worse. Barely any toppings except an obsene amount of arugla which didn't add anything to the dish. I had three peices and there was only two measly small peices of chicken. It also lacked flavour.
