a half eaten sandwich on a piece of paper
Leigh L.

Ordered the Turkey hoagie with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo and a plain cheeseburger. By far the worst Wawa I've ever ordered from as you can see from the picture. There is no lettuce and one piece of tomato that I had to take off because it had the hard core in it. The cheeseburger was cold! I know it's a gas station, but every other Wawa manages to do it right. Save your money and go up the road to Firehouse or Jersey Mikes.

Not just another gas station or convenient store. Careful you could get lost in here or even lose your small child. This place is huge. I think they have every kind of chip, cookie and drink you could possibly want. And I think on aisle 2, I saw they weren't selling hardware. This store has it all pizza and salad. Well....I definitely know where to get gas...now!!!

I like to start my day at Wawa's. I made a mistake and got coffee from somewhere else. I had to come back home. Best coffee in the world. There I said it.

Being a Jersey girl, you could imagine my excitement when WaWa began its Jacksonville takeover. The southern versions do not disappoint! Where else can you fill your stomach AND your car-at the same time?! My favorite is the six-inch shorti on wheat, topped with some of my favorite veggies such as fresh cucumbers, crisp lettuce, red tomatoes, and ripe onions. For all of you carnivores, they also have an assortment of made-to-order soups, rice bowls, and quesadillas. The varieties and combinations are endless. WaWa also has milkshakes, specialty drinks, and their own flavored teas. WaWa is taking over the South and I couldn't be happier. Take a trip to WaWa...your stomach (and gas tank) will thank you.

WaWa has been building such a cult following, and we finally have a few local locations. It's a gas station, but also a great lunch stop for subs, salads, quesadillas, soup, and shakes. Order from a kiosk, with every selection from type of bread to toppings and toasted or not show . The prices are good, with 10' subs under $6 unless you add extras like bacon, extra meat or extra cheese. You get a ticket to go pay at a register, along with anything else you are grabbing from their ready made section or standard convenience store things. After paying, you wait as they make your order fresh, and they call your number when ready. On this visit, I had 3 subs and a quesadilla so it took longer than I expected but was probably just because of the quantity. Several people with higher numbers had theirs ready before me, so I'm guessing that one person works on a complete order. My rating of a 4 isn't based on comparing it to a nice restaurant, but to a quick sandwich shop, since that's essentially what it is. Oh, plus some gas I suppose!

What a great place to get gas and anything else you can possibly think of literally very clean and well organized great healthy snacks sandwiches or full meals I didn't have a lot of time to check it out today but what I did see was pretty awesome, I plan to go back soon only complaint is Check out is kind of weird for a store that large ,there wasn't enough cashiers and we had to wait in line a while .

It was a pretty enjoyable visit overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed watching them make all my food to order. The Kimchi Cheesesteak looked great and was freshly prepared, but the gochujang sauce was much sweeter than I expected--both my foodie friend and I thought it tasted a bit like Manwich sloppy joe sauce. It overpowered the sandwich a bit, but I still appreciated the fresh ingredients. The loaded fries were awesome--crispy fries topped with cheese, bacon, and ranch. They were indulgent and a perfect side to pair with the sandwich. As for the lemonade, it was refreshing and hit the spot. I'm not a fan of their flavored lemonades, as they seem to just add syrup or jam, but the classic lemonade was great. Since this is inside the food court, there's the gentle roar of shoppers and other diners in the area, but it didn't take away from the experience. The mall staff keeps the food court pretty clean, which is always a plus.

It was best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I have had so far in Jacksonville. The restaurant was located in the Orange Park Mall food court.

There were plenty of tables and they were spread out so it never felt crowded. I had a single burger and one of my friends had fish & chips. He said he really liked the fish and there was plenty of it. My burger tasted good but the super thin patty was well done. I don't necessarily like a whole lot of meat but that thin patty just didn't do it for me. I'll try it again but next time I'll get a double.

Later in the evening, the employees don't seem to care about service or quality and simply wanted to mess around and talk to each other. Customers seem to be more of a bother. Burgers are sloppily put together in the evening as well. I had tried a few other Culver's locations in Jacksonville as well as other states and usually enjoy the burgers. My son is a huge Culver's fan and loves their burgers, they probably rate in his top 3 burger restaurants. I like that the burgers tend to be a little crisp around the edges and have plenty of flavor. The buns are tasty and I love adding the grilled onions. The fries are fine, the cheese curds are ok and the onion rings are ok, nothing special, but what I tend to order. I really like the root beer and is what I prefer to drink at Culver's. The restaurant tends to be kept clean and like I said service seems to depend on the time of day. Overall it's a good burger restaurant and we will keep visiting when we are in Jacksonville.

So I swung by the drive-thru, grabbed a grass-fed, grass-finished steak burger, and some of their tots that are now cooked in beef tallow. I could instantly tell the difference with the tallow-cooked tots, they were super tasty. The tots seemed a bit smaller, but still delicious. The burger patty was definitely better than their old ones and the pickles were fresh. Overall, I feel the improvements were very satisfying and I applaud shake and steak for the effort. Of course, I totally forgot the golden rule I should know by now: always check your order before you leave. I got all the way home and they'd forgotten my chili mac, which made me pretty sad. LOL

I had to ask for napkins (all the dispensers were empty) & I had to use a few to clean a table, as they were all dirty. We sat, a few booths away from the trash cans. Before I could finish my meal, an employee came out to empty them. The smell was horrendous, when he pulled the cans out. It didn't look like the inside of the cabinet, holding the 2 trash cans, had been cleaned in a very long time. I had to stop eating & leave. I ordered a single steak burger with cheese. It was so flat, half the burger was hanging outside the bun. Because it was so flat, it got cold very quickly. This restaurant needs a lot of improvement, before I'll return.
