I want to recognize Andrew and Melinda at Publix for the absolutely exceptional help they gave me today. I came in dealing with multiple issues with my order and some confusion with Wic, and honestly felt overwhelmed. Andrew and Melinda stepped in without hesitation and spent about 45 minutes working through everything with me until it was fully resolved. They were patient, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure things were made right. Not only did they fix the problem, but they also made sure I was okay throughout the process and even helped keep my daughter entertained while we waited. On top of that, they took the time to explain a few things to me so I'd understand what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. Their kindness, professionalism, and care stood out in a way I don't often see anymore. I left feeling relieved, supported, and honestly very grateful. Okay, I may be off base here but why is there a $2.00 up charge for 20 hot and spicy, unbreaded, deli wings if you order all flats? I've never encountered this before. At restaurants, I just take whatever they give me, but in the past, at Publix, they never said anything about an up charge. You aren't getting more meat? This is Publix? Really? Hello Publix customers, l enjoy this neighboring Blanding Blvd / College Avenue Store. The staff offers a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, l' m sharing my disappointing experience with the Sandwich Deli Counter, better yet a piece of advice. When the veggies selections are very less than full from each container by the Deli Server that prepares your sandwich you will have soggy vegetables with your take home sandwiches absorbed by the bread. Not a pleasant experience. Not sure how to get around this, but Buyer beware and ask for a spoon, fork and extra napkins, better yet fresh veggies that have not settled to the bottom of each container offering watered down veggies. read more

Stopped by for some ice but decided to pick up some cookies and noticed the Fresca was on sale, so picked up more than we needed. Checkout was also quick and the cashier was very friendly. Oh, they also have a ton of the racecar carts for the little one. No complaints. read more

This is a very nice Publix with the terrific customer service for which this grocery store is known. It stays pretty busy as it's centrally located on the [densely populated] south end of Orange Park. I usually stop in to grab my grandma her newspaper, Lotto tickets and More cigarettes. There's not a whole lot of places that sell her brand as it is and this place carries them. She smokes the red pack. It's never a wasted trip for me because I usually indulge at the sample station and pick up a yummy Publix sub or fried chicken at the deli. Also, this Publix has their liquor store right next door so for those who need to pick up some alcoholic drinks....it's a one-stop-shop. Parking can suck.... read more

The parking lot is a nightmare! Be careful coming in and out of lot. The store itself is clean and the employees are friendly.

Hit or miss with the deli/sub shop. Had a lady make me two subs today, (she has a tattoo behind her right ear) All the personality of a rock. Was like pulling teeth with the instructions on making my sandwich. She forgot to add cheese, acted like it was a huge imposition to chop up the vegetables. She does not seem to want to work there or was having a really bad day. If your day is going that badly, she shouldn't be interacting with the public. read more

Love Publix because of the variety, cleanliness and freshness of their food & lets not forget all the baked goods. One of my favorites are the fish packaged dinners-you have your choice of fish and you pick a flavor. They put it all in a brown bag and its ready for baking and out the bag to your plate-so yummy!! For a dinner in a bag it's about $11.99. Now the last 2 I purchased the hubby and I split the bag. They must be cooked within 24 hrs after purchase. read more

This store has the requisite superior customer service, but what sets it apart is its size. As it was originally constructed as an Albertson's, it is larger than most supermarkets. Consequently they are able to handle more product, and that includes certain niche items that one might not find in most grocery stores - save specialty food stores. read more

Made the trip for our Friday evening fried chicken. It was on sale so they were sold out. We waited 20 minutes for the next batch but it was well worth it. The chicken was battered perfectly and fried to perfection. We know how much the grandchildren love the chicken so we dropped a box off for them. read more

Everything you would expect from Publix. As someone else mentioned, this location used to be an Albertson's and it is pretty big. There is also a Publix liquor store next door. The only real downside to this location is that the parking lot can be a real disaster (the main exit is the only one that goes to the light on Blanding and it was not well designed), especially on the weekends. read more

Oh Publix how I've missed you. After living in New England for several years, I have really come to appreciate how great Publix really is, and this location is a testament to that excellence. The employees are always friendly and always helpful. At this particular location, you can wander down an aisle, wondering aloud where an item is, and an employee will overhear you and go out of their way to help you find that item (this is the strategy my parents use). It's also managed well, since I've really never seen the check out lines over crowded. This is a great Publix location! read more

Always my favorite place to go shopping. Walmart is closer to me, but id rather drive further to go to publix. The people that work here are always super nice and helpful. And my kids love shopping here because they get cookies, stickers, and sometimes balloons lol. read more

This location is "our" Publix. We love it. It's always clean and the employees are friendly. We love the BOGOs. One complaint about Publix overall - the bakery items used to be better. I don't know what happened. The brownies, pies, and turnovers were my favorite but the flavor and consistency has changed. read more
