Stopped in to get some snacks before a show. They were plenty of grabbing items such as wraps, sandwiches, salads. I really like their rewards program and their app with coupons. Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake for a birthday, decor add myself. Around $34 and you have to place your order 24 hours in advance. Cheesecake- Creamy, not dense like a NY style, but really flavorful and good. Strawberries on top- large, fresh, very delicious. It does come pre-sliced, which caused out cutting process to be messy- those slices were way to big. I picked up a package of an additional 6 chocolate covered strawberries there (equally as delicious) to add to thinner slices. read more

There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix to the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around. read more

I love every Publix I've ever been in. The aisles are nicely spaced, no running into someone going in the other directions, usually have the items advertised, friendly staff, etc. I hadn't shop here before but had two things to pick up before heading home! When I walked in I saw this drive in passage for grocery pick ups! I wondered if they built it just for the Covid scare and people not even wanting to go out to shop, so I asked. The cashier said she didn't think so...it was for customers when it rained to pull in and get groceries dry! Oh how we love Publix but it's the only one I've ever seen for raining weather shopping...lol! read more

Popped into a different Publix location than the norm last night after dinner. I like how this store is laid out- the bakery, deli & produce very open floor- I've seen this layout at another local Publix. The bakery got me- I can't helps it, carbs are my buddy. They had the French Fans I had only seen at the Beach Publix!!! I also pointed out the churro donut holes to John- I told him they were evil and he put them in the cart- lol. He also snagged a mini-lemon meringue pie (where are the full size ones?!?!?) & a couple half loaves of fresh bread- pumpernickel and Italian bread. We came in for just a few specific items and he we go.... John wanted his Ice- sugar free, sparking flavored water, a big bag of ice and I wanted to see what cereals they had on bogo and pick up some frozen veggies. This store is somewhere between a small store and a medium store and didn't have the variety in selection of one cereal that was bogo. I found other ones that I got instead- but that was something I noticed. Over $50 and a full cart later- I was shocked that my big bag held almost everything!!! Apparently my son complained that we didn't have any ranch dressing in the house- I agree with that complaint! Our odd menagerie of items, nothing that screamed one cohesive meal, just random items were put up on the conveyor belt in order I thought would pack the bag best. The bagger did an amazing job fitting almost everything! Outstanding customer service as always! read more

As expensive as I think Publix is, they have great customer service and fresh food products. I love the deli sandwiches, as well as the chicken on the hot bar. My friends convinced me if I shop the bogo deals and sale items I will spend the same amount here as any other local grocery store. This week I agree. They had my favorite summer beer on sale bogo for a six pack. And this is the closest grocery store to my house. I use to shop at Winn Dixie all the time as I liked the gas points. Well, they changed their program recently and I don't get the gas points I use to get. So now I primarily shop at Publix. All the employees go out of their way to make your grocery shopping experience perfect. You can't beat that! read more

This store is great. It's the deli that's awful. Every single time I order a sub online for pick up, it's never made. Happened at least 5 times. In my eyes, I love every Publix I go to. It's a notch above the rest. They are organized, clean, well stocked and the employees are very helpful and accommodating to the Customers. I do love Publix. I love every department they have. The Produce Department might be my favorite dept. If they don't have something you need or want, talk to a Manager and they will try to order it for you on a regular basis. My ultimate favorite thing about Publix is their wonderful weekly BOGO's! This review is for the Pharmacy, not the store. The store is good. The pharmacy "accidentally" shredded the prescription of my daughter medication (before scanning of course) and the doctor refused to write it again because they said Publix should honor it, but Publix wouldn't I and I didn't see any accountability to the pharmacist that did it. My daughter now has to be without her medication for the next three months until she's eligible to see the doctor again. Complete FU on the pharmacy's end. I had used a different Publix pharmacy and never had an issue. DON'T use this one on Kernan/Beach. They are clearly either shady or incompetent, either way I don't want them handling my medication. read more

Its a very clean grocery. It's easy to find what you're looking for, and the staff is very helpful. Especially in the bakery department. I wanted to make my son a custom Star Wars cake and they were so helpful to come up with something even though Publix stopped carrying Star Wars cake designs. Also, if you are sick, they have a FREE antibiotics program. I got my medicine free yesterday. No catches, no having to buy anything else. The only reason why there are 4 stars instead of 5 is that Publix stopped carrying crepes, and they are more pricey than Winn Dixie. read more

This is my Publix! I seriously spend the amount of a mortgage here every month. I typically only shop at this Publix and this is for a good reason. 1. It is super close to me 2. The staff treats me and my kids like family 3. The quality of the meat and produce is top notch 4. They have a huge selection of items and if they don't have what you need they will gladly order it for you 5. The store is always clean and I know where everything is Publix's digital coupons, prices, bogos, customer service, bakery, and deli are the best in the business for sure! read more

I absolutely love the way this Publix is laid out. I like to shop in places where I feel like I'm going to have fun while I'm doing it, so this is stuff I really pay attention to (weird, right?). This particular visit here was to get some lunch on my break from work, so I headed over to where I could get a fried chicken meal. The line had about 2 people in it and 2 gentleman (same group) were being helped at the sandwiches - oh, and they were ordering for an entire office so the poor people in front of me had been waiting through 5-6 sandwiches to be made. Luckily they were finishing up when I joined the line. I waited another 5min to be helped, but I swear it felt longer. I got my 2pc friend chicken meal with mac n cheese and potato wedges (and complimentary roll), grabbed a green tea, and headed to the register to pay. I hopped in line in the 10 Items or Less register and there were, again, 2 people in front of me. After about 30sec the cashier lady told me to go the Customer Service desk by the front to get checked out. When I got there a gentleman pretty much raced me to the line to ask a Western Union transaction question to the woman there, so there I waited again. A shift leader or supervisor of some sort saw me waiting, but didn't acknowledge me. The woman came back and didn't acknowledge me until she caught me staring at her and THEN asked if I needed help. I asked if she could check me out and she did. Since I was on my lunch break I rushed to my car and just decided to eat it quickly in there. After all those obstacles standing between me and my craving for fried chicken, it was all worth it after one bite! I really do not think anything compares to Publix fried chicken, it's so delicious! One thing I LOVE about Publix is that *most* of them carry on the ways of the traditional mom 'n' pop grocers, even if they don't shove it in your face. A lot of the staff have the capabilities to help you out with more than you think. Just ask! :) I think being able to still foster a relationship with your butcher or fish monger is important even if those stand-alone establishments are becoming increasingly few and far between due to modernity and the ever-present WalMart, and the majority of Publixes share this facet (there are still tons of fish markets in northeast FL, but I digress...) This Publix is no different. It's clean and well-stocked most of the time. Nice employees. Liquor store is attached. However, what I love most about this Publix is its proximity to my apartment. It's right on the corner of Beach and Kernan, and living in the District on Kernan means that I can jump in my car and be there in 2 minutes or hoof it on a nice day and get there in around 10. This makes it easier and more feasible financially to buy the food I need when I need it, instead of going on a huge shopping trip, risking some things going bad. Only complaints: Publix is a bit more expensive than most places. It makes sense, mostly, though. The younger cashiers can be happier. I know you just had a long day at Fletcher or UNF or whatever and you hate your life, but still... Tip to the buyers at this location: order more Calbee Snapea Crisps Lightly Salted. Pleeease. I'll buy them! Those things are like crack and I don't like having to stock up at Whole Foods when they're on sale. Lol read more

Normally i love publix. But waiting 15 minutes for popcorn chicken to be made, then another 15 minutes after its made, me and my son standing in front of the hot deli counter(no one in front of us) never even being acknowledged? Not acceptable. I understand it's 6:30 and ya'll are popular, but acknowledgement goes a long way. Especially when your items are pricier than wynn dixie and target. Finally the man who was making all the chicken, etc, came and served us even though it was clearly not his job. No thank you. read more

Went out of my way to this Publix to get sushi--picked up grilled dumplings with a side of Spicy sauce. They were frozen solid! I did not realize Publix freezes their sushi. Unfortunately it is rush hour and I really wanted a fresh snack. What a disappointment! read more

Publix is my go to grocer at the beach. We have many choices these days including on the low end - Winn Dixie and Terry's country store to the higher end being Fresh Market, Trader Joes, and soon Native Sun. To me Publix is right in the middle towards a higher end store. They are usually very clean, produce and meat is fresh, and deli and bakery has good choices. The deli has a hot bar, sub station, and now a cold food selection as well for quick pre made good on the go. They have a large selection of beer and wine. Some locations even have an outside liquor store attached for extra convenience. Most locations have a pharmacy inside with free meds including the most commonly prescribed antibiotics, blood pressure meds, and metformin for diabetic blood sugar control. They always have bogo product specials, send coupons in the mail, and now offer digital coupons which can be chosen online. You then only choose your items and at checkout type in your phone number and the coupons are automatically applied to your purchase.....very easy. read more

In every aisle hangs a banner that says, "Love to shop here". Not sure the Hallmark greeting card kitschiness was intentional, but let's face it. There's nothing radical about this grocery store. It's good. They don't offer everything like some supermarkets but have a nice variety of product. The prices are reasonable. The environment is well staffed and tidy. What makes this place special is that this is your neighborhood grocery store. The service is far better than OK. The customers know the staff members by names because this is their familiar shopping place. The people who work here are close to home; they either live or go to school nearby and it shows in the cheery neighborly way they interact with their customers. read more

At every other publix location I've been to, they will use tofu slices from their produce section at no extra cost. Love Publix stores! I've never been inside any of their locations that weren't well-stocked, clean, and friendly. But this store stands out for their customer service. I've had countless good experiences here, but the stand out comes for the one occasion when I was looking for a special kind of jam to make my husband a dessert, and what was clearly a manager, or some higher-up in a suit with a clipboard (looked as if a group of them was on some sort of training tour), stopped what he was doing to come over and ask if he could help me.
