Publix is definitely my go to spot for subs. You can load your sandwich with anything and everything and the best part is there's no extra charge for add-ons. Everything is included in one price, which is a huge plus compared to competitors who nickel-and-dime you for every topping. Their daily specials are great too, and the Italian is usually my top choice. Fresh ingredients, large portions, and consistent quality make Publix subs hard to beat. Publix is absolutely the place to go for your subs and to add have a $5 special in sushi on every Wednesday. read more

Had to run in here for a last minute item I forgot to purchase for my kiddo's school supplies. Parking for this particular Publix can be a bit problematic, because it always seems like it's busy. So just beware if you're trying to score a close spot. When we arrived this location was full of BOGO items on sale in the front. Luckily I didn't see anything that caught my eye or that I thought I needed, so we headed back to aisle seven to grab our notebook. This is for the pharmacy. I will say the people that work there are very nice. However they obviously have too much of a workload, it can take days to get a prescription filled, like 3-4 days easy and then you have to complain. I just switched over to CVS today, they had my prescription done in 14 minutes. Yes 14 minutes. Sorry Nocatee Publix Pharmacy, I'm no longer a customer. read more

Love this Publix Super Market! I'm especially impressed with the Produce and Meat/Seafood departments. There is a wide variety of great looking fresh produce. This visit we bought a Sugar Kiss melon and it did not disappoint. The rind was easy to cut through and the actual melon had a great texture and just the right amount of sweetness. We also bought a piece of salmon that we grilled at home for dinner and it was delicious. It's fun to peruse the clearance items located up near the checkout areas. On another trip we had what we call "Pub Subs". We preordered sub sandwiches via the app, picked them up at the time they would be ready and they were waiting for us under the heating lights so they were warm and toasty. Delicious meatball and chicken finger sub sandwiches on toasty rolls. They also have a scale so you can check your weight. Best to do that before you eat the delicious food that you're going to eat when you get home! read more

Everyone is always so friendly at this local Publix! I know they're a bit pricey, but I get in there when they have Buy 1, Get 1 deals. It's very clean and the staff is very helpful. Their subs are also very tasty. My go-to is the Italian sub. Comparable to Jersey Mike's Italian but less expensive. read more

Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeastern United States. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we can never forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. This particular Publix location has a welcoming ambiance and the usual professional staff. Everytime i go to this publix to get a pub sub, it always taste freezer burnt. No matter what sub i get. From tender, philly, even italian. They've all had the same bad taste. Work in this area alot so we frequent this publix, and i have yet to grab one that hasnt has this taste. read more

I'm one of those people who loves self-service checkout, and this location does not offer self-service lines. That's the exact reason why my wife loves it! The staff is always so friendly here, and their shelves are always fully stocked. The deli counter staff is always friendly, and for those who choose not to wait, there are generally pre-cut Boar's Head deli items available. Pricing is reasonable, parking is readily available, and having the pharmacy on site is an excellent benefit as well. read more

PUBLIX LIQUOR STORE - Actually, this review is specific to the liquor store that is attached to my neighborhood Publix. (See separate post if you're interested in my thoughts on their outstanding deli.) Talk about fantastic customer service! I'm not much of a "liquor drinker", so when I went to get a bottle of bourbon for a gift for a dear friend, I had NO idea what to purchase. I had NO idea that bourbon had so many options, varieties...I was lost. The prices varied incredibly as well. Samir was there to help me out! I explained my price limits and the kind of bourbon drinker my friend was, and he nailed it! He did not rush me and talked me through what I was looking for. Thank you, Samir! Fast forward a month or so and I needed another gift. In I went to find some Port and Limoncello. Samir actually remembered me and the bourbon experience! Both staff members were available to help! I was SO impressed! They'd actually directed us to next door telling us that Publix had a better selection of Ports, and they told me exactly where to find it--right to shelf placement. We did not need to get the Lemoncello THIS time, but we will! I am always, always impressed with great customer service! One of the worst Publix I have ever been to. There's a few nice cashiers but that's it. The baggers try to do the cashiers job. Everyone acts like they are the big boss but as soooo rude. The bakery refused to give my 9yo 2 cookies- 1 for her and 1 for her sister. So I had to get it myself to which they said well we had to make sure she wasn't gonna eat 2. Like whaaaaat. Who cares! (I almost had her eat both right there just to make a point- but then her sister wouldn't have received one) This Publix needs to dump 90% of its employees and hire new ones, including the managers. Or switch it's name to Walmart for how they act and treat customers. 10/10 for crap service and crap attitudes. read more

I really struggle with the Nocatee Publix. The product stocking seems inconsistent. One week, they will have the things I need, but the next time I go in to buy the same items, there won't even be a tag on the shelf for those same items. That is really frustrating. I've had a hard time with the staff too. Overall they are friendly, especially the front end staff and the florist. My problem has been with the seafood and meet departments. The butcher staff has been very indignant with me. One time in particular I asked for 4 8-10 ounce filets. The butcher ignored me and sent someone else out to help me. This poor little man didn't know what he was doing, and told me he didn't even work in the department, so the butcher finally came out to help me. He wasn't happy. When I repeated my request, he went to the case, where I originally came from, and handed me two packages of very thin filets. I explained again what I was looking for, and he gruffly told me that he could cut them thicker, but they would be bigger than 8-10 ounces. ‍ Forget it. I thought I was talking to a butcher. So I left and went to Fresh Market. Keep in mind, this is just one encounter of several I've had with this department. I've also asked for snow crab legs several times, and they never seem to carry them. The seafood selection seems to be inconsistent. The Publix on CR210 was my old store before we move to Nocatee and it was perfection. So I often just go to that store, or Fresh Market instead of the Publix right here in Nocatee. read more

This is the walmart of publix.. not many options around so this store gets away with too much. Most of the cashiers are beyond rude, always have a stank face on, never thank you and have a nice day. Forget about the parking nightmare. I absolutely dread having to shop there so much so that if I can, I will drive to beach walk publix for my shopping. The store is fairly new, it's clean and for the most part you can always find what you need. This is the closest store to us and that is what keeps me/us coming back for the most part. Plus, we can get in and get out quickly. The parking is ample at the moment. But as the area grows and with the surrounding stores there may be a future issue. But for now it works. Please note...this is located in a golf cart community, so you may have to dodge a golf cart or two and they are slower. I personally think it's cool to be able to ride your golf cart anywhere, but I have seen some folks who don't share my enthusiasm and get a little upset. Take your time...it's all good. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the staff doesn't seem to be as friendly at this store as in other stores. They are quick and efficient, but dang...sometimes I feel pushed out the door. Ha! Ha!...sad, but true. read more

The pharmacy at Publix in Marketplace in Ponte Vedra is just bad as it always has been. After waiting on line about 20 minutes the clerk said it would be an hour wait. I asked him how much the prescription would cost. He said it would take an hour for him to look it up then the hour to prepare the prescription. There was just one pill in the prescription. His attitude was abrupt and not at all helpful. He had a fairly full beard which did not seem to be hygienic when working in health care. I got the prescription filled at CVS which I should have done in the first place. Why does Publix allow this very poor customer service? All other employees are first rate. read more

I've been regularly shopping at this Publix since we moved to the area about six months ago. Normally, my experiences with Publix are all positive, all the time. This store however, only averages three stars and I'll tell you why. It is a hit or miss with some of the employees on whether they really want to help, or they will go out of their way to avoid eye contact in order not to help. I would have to say the worst interaction tends to be with some of the cashiers. Usually the younger male cashier are the worst offenders. Tonight for instance, I was shopping with my family to grab a couple of items after work. Our cashier, who was more than happy to chat up the person in front of me, didn't say one word during the entire transaction. When the total was on he just sat there and stared at me. While I was trying to use my debit card, I forgot to hit the "no" button to indicate I didn't want any cash back. That was the first time he said anything to me. After the receipt was printed out, he handed it to me and that was it. No "thank you," "goodnight," anything. Not even a smile. I understand working at a grocery store can be stressful, I get that. By to not even greet someone is just down right rude. I will more than likely start going out of my way to drive to the Sawgrass location, unless I absolutely have to get something, since it is not worth feeling like my business doesn't matter here. read more

Love this location! Golf cart parking? Great touch. They make great fresh subs, have 4 different types of soup daily, and great fresh produce. Many wine choices and a pharmacy. Employees offer to take your groceries out to your car! This is my favorite grocery store in the area without a doubt. Concerns: parking lot is getting full. The construction crowd at lunch can result in long deli/sandwich lines and soup running out! read more

Still one of my favorite Publix stores in the area. Business has definitely picked up so it can be a little busy at times, but the selection is still fabulous. The store is clean, the aisles are wide. I love that they've even installed energy reducing lighting in the freezer aisle so that the cases don't light up until your in the aisle. This Publix is huge. One of the largest in the state of Florida. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Good bakery area, and we like to pick up the fried chicken for dinner sometimes. They also sell some basic housewares, baking dishes, batteries, candles, party plates and cups, wrapping paper, night lights, beer and wine. Always clean, organized and great customer service. Tends to get busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, so go early on the weekends.

Publix can be relatively pricey for everyday groceries but this one is conveniently located for Nocatee residents and, being a newer Publix, I think it's one of better designed and cleaner locations that I've been to. read more

This is my favorite Publix in town. It's always very clean, tons of parking, Publix liquor next door and the friendliest staff. I literally dream about their fried chicken but my waist says not today most of my visits. The guys in the seafood market are always up beat and very helpful. I can usually put in an order and finish my shopping while they finish. Many times I request things like a shrimp platter and by the time I finish they've put together a pretty platter complete with fresh lemons. read more

I have tried and tried to use this Publix (Nocatee). First off, they have a cashier "guy", he ALWAYS throws the merchandise down the conveyor belt. Thanks i wanted those apples and tomatoes bruised. I avoid him but sometimes he is the only line available (probably because he is so bad). He doesn't even say hello or thank you. And the deli, they cannot cut their deli meats consistent. If you ask for thin, one side is shaved and the other is thicker. I will travel out of my way to avoid this publix. read more

I am going to get my one big gripe out of the way first about this Publix: they almost ALWAYS have a group of some sort hawking for money as you walk in! I know this is really a good thing, but I HATE having to feel like I am running a gauntlet as a walk into and out of a store. Sorry if this makes me sound like a jerk. We stop here often on the way or from Micklers Beach right down the road. We stock up on our beach food stuffs. Or we stop on the way home (covered in sand) to get what we need post-beach. This store happens to be laid out differently than most of the other Publix stores,I have visited. It strikes me as being a little "compact". This is not a bad thing....only make finding things from memory a little challenging. read more

While renting a beach house in the area for a family gathering, we went to this Publix several times over a recent weekend. I am a big fan of Publix, especially the dependable customer service. I especially appreciated the friendliness and helpful deli employees who prepared sandwiches for us at this location. The bakery has great fresh baked breads and cakes, plus those great assorted morning pastries available. Even though this Publix was smaller than my Publix, they had everything we needed in stock, and especially good fresh produce. I was trying to pick out balloons and the patience and helpfulness of the employees assisting me was wonderful. I really love that Publix always has plenty of staff available to assist and check out lines are quick and efficient. My family who had moved away from Florida and were back visiting from northern states that do not have Publix stores commented how much the miss Publix. We are lucky to have such great stores nearby. read more
