This used to be our favorite Wawa because of their friendliness and general quality. However, in the last month or so, they have gotten every order from behind the counter wrong, serving hot items cold and missing numerous items on each order. Wawa food is good but the portioning size is a complete joke. I paid $8 for FOUR small scoops of food. 2 scoops mashed potato and 2 scoops stuffing, barely filling the bowl. Visitors from other parts of the country think this is the weirdest name for a convenience store ever. What they don't know is it could be worse! WaWa is the Indian name for goose. That's why you see the flying goose above the name. Imagine if the owner decided to name all his stores GOOSE. Now that would be strange! This particular WaWa is amazingly successful and very well run. It's one of two in Havertown and much larger than the other one. It's also open 24/7. It's .3 miles from my house and I've visited literally hundreds of times. ATM- I bank with PNC so these machines are completely free for me. The lovely wife and I use them all the time. They are so popular there are two in the store. Hoagies- Do they make the best hoagie in town? No. Do they make the best hoagie at 1 am? Yes! Coffee- Always fresh and inexpensive. Refrigerated Cases- The milk, water, soda, and other assorted cold stuff is always nicely stocked and in code. Excursions- Heading out for the day and need to bring lunch? For the lovely wife and I this place is perfect. You grab a couple of hoagies, some H2O or soda, maybe some yogurt and a package of cookies and you're good to go. They have a giant parking lot here but it can still get crazy at peak times. Weekend mornings are insane. It's easily the best convenience store in the area! read more

It is one of the bigger ones and has a nice parking lot. However, parking can still be an issue if you go at the wrong time in the morning. This is a really nice, clean, bright, well-stocked, and well-organized Wawa. The staff were friendly and I found everything I needed. It is spacious, so didn't have any of the angry-hectic feeling some smaller Wawas can have. Also it has a very large parking lot with two separate entry-exit locations, which helps with any traffic congestion. I did a little research before writing this review and discovered that this Wawa is open 24 hours which makes it extremely convenient! read more

I know I've reviewed several wawa's, but this is the one I grew up with. Several make overs with the years. I remember this being a small one little dirtier, but they did this one over ten fold. Only thing they need to do is make it a super wawa, add the gas pumps and she its complete. This spot had many characters working here, one guy liked to be called larry (real name steve) he was into the wrestling thing... Couldn't make it as a wrestler, he stood 5' 4 and scrawny. He trainning to become a manager... one of the ruthless ones for wrestling. I'd come here many a drunken nights seeing there its a pub across the street me and my friends used to go to. Place is clean and everytime I come in there is always something fresh brewing. Get a hoagie how you want, or the infamous ice tea selections... Spot we would hit up before road trips, or ball games load up on stupid essential. This spot is a 24/7 location and their parking is huge. It's a roadside stop with all of the amenities of convenience; sodas, water, chips, coffee, beef jerky, sandwiches, lotto, cigarettes, ice, candy, and gum. They also have "travel" toiletries and oil for your engine. "Wawa" is also a cool name and it's fun to say. WaaaaaaaaaWaaaaaaaaa!!! read more

Place still has no good management. The older woman at the front counter is still screaming across the store to other coworkers and the girl who needs to smoke by the front door is still there resting her iPad on top of the trash can with her headphones in. I was ecstatic when this WaWa opened in this area. I go here at least 2-3 times a week for my morning coffee and sometimes for some snacks or hoagies for lunch. Their hoagies aren't too shabby either. Downsides are probably teenagers hanging around there. One thing I can never understand is why that is a cool thing to do. Can't they find better things to do? Are the brains of youths no longer capable of finding creative things to do than to just stand around WaWa looking like they're about to steal something for the first time? Come on now. And sometimes, those teens might know the actual employees because they're also young. This part doesn't disturb me as much since some of their conversations humor me. All in all, good, classic place for a quick stop for snacks/coffee/lunch. The navigation in and out of the parking lot is a bit tricky because of the intersection of Eagle and Darby. This wawa is great, its always kept clean and well stocked. They have almost everything you could want at a convenience store and more. Some items are bit more costly and I will only buy them from here on emergency. But overall the pricing is good, the selection is amazing and the staff is all very nice. As for the food counter, there is never a shortage of workers and the area is clean. You can see your food being made so that is a help. They have a wide variety of foods and toppings so everything is super customizable and the staff have no problems with special requests. read more

Parking lot is big but generally insane. Store is usually always clean. My gripe and reason for 3 stars is they NEVER change their gloves behind hoagie station and it's disgusting. This has to be one of the best Wawa stores around. It is super busy in the morning time. I've never seen a Wawa with the efficiency and speed of this one. The parking lot is a bit of a pain but manageable. In the morning there is 2-3 of the cash registers in use. The line always moves fast. The food is dependable and the coffee is always piping hot. I do here daily for coffee and to use the 400+ choices fountain soda. I love all the people that work there and they say hi to me like they know me. It is always busy, but the wait in line is never too long because they are aware of how many cashiers need to be open. Parking can be tight during peak times but much better than other nearby Wawas. Beware when 3pm comes around though, kids come in flocks after school and dump their backpacks on the ground in the front of the store. read more

The best. The best Wawa you could ask for. The staff here is amazing; I come in every morning for a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and a croissant, and they always make sure they're available. If I'm running late, they stash an everything bagel for me. They're so helpful, and friendly, and professional; it's fantastic. Also, they're one of the best stocked Wawas around. They're never out of deli items, or dairy products. And the store is always really clean and bright, there's ample parking, and it's just a great Wawa. read more
