Nothing really stood out flavor-wise, and it felt like the dishes were missing that special touch. The one upside is that my toddler loved it! He enjoys plain food, so the chicken was perfect for him, and he ate a good amount. But for the adults, it just fell flat. I truly want to love this place because it has so much potential, but our experience didn't quite hit the mark. It was obvious that the Hollandaise sauce was canned or something - not made fresh. I wasn't hugely fond of the country benedict with the sausage, but there wasn't anything wrong with it - it was just me hoping for a slightly sweeter breakfast sausage for the flavor profile (this is not a reflection on the restaurant, just that I realized after I tasted it that it wasn't as good a combo as the Canadian bacon was). The hashbrowns were fine - unseasoned and probably previously frozen. We seasoned them, and I always eat them with ketchup so they were fine that way. The pancake was very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice - very clean, nice looking decor - other than the cheap plastic American flag with crease lines still in it taking up an entire wall. Don't come for me about the flag. I can be patriotic too (at times when it's warrented), but I think it's weird that in America we hang flags everywhere all the time - most other countries don't do that. If it were a mural or a nice quality flag, or even steamed to get the folding creases out of it, that would have been better, but not really my thing regardless. The service was good and the food came out quickly - accuracy was good and prices were similar to other places in the area.
