So mad at myself I drive past this place almost every day and didn't realize what store it was. I've been to another location, but this one is closer. The only thing is the parking is horrible. It's a limited space that fits about 20 cars to multiple businesses however I was able to get one when I stopped, but the car kept coming. I grabbed a twisted doughnut and a caramel macchiato. I was really just being nosy today to see what options were available, and if they had the same ones as the other location, most items are the same and actually some new things the picture speak for themselves. as always, the service is great and the ambience speaks for itself, dig in people thank me later. read more

I had many negatives in my experience at this bakery , which really isn't a bakery at all,they sell baked goods , the items are on display in the summer you can see flies in the pastries, and the service makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor with very few smiles ,and an obvious preference for non white customers . IF you are a white man look out, the staff speaks to each other in Chinese and its obvious they have a disdain for the American /white or non Chinese customers . The dishonor and disrespect is obvious in the way they do business. You can easily imagine you are under the PRC authority when you go to the counter. not a good spirit at all for such a business. You will have a very hard time trying to build a rapport with this place,the owner walks around with a holier than thou look ,never saw her smile or talk to customers ,but always joking and talking in Chinese or another language , with the staff behind the counter,its easy to get the jest that they make fun of the customers ,and talk down about them ,rather than to them. read more

Didn't even know what Tous Les Jours was before heading there to get some yummy pastries. This is the kind of place in line with Paris Baguette and other pick your own pastries kind of set up like an eat-in bakery, although I liked this place much better than any of the experience that I have had at any of their competitors, or any other place that is similar. The space is open and stark white with multiple different windowed cabinets that hold many different pastries, both savory and sweet, with cakes up front at the counter, and they also serve coffee and espresso drinks on top of it all. We picked up an assortment of different pastries with the highlights being a curry croquette and a mushroom, onion, and Gruyère danish or something of the sort. We also grabbed a strawberry cream tart for our older daughter which looked very sweet and not at all up my alley whatsoever, but did still look good. The selection of pastries is self-serve and you grab a tray to choose what you would like, selecting your desired treats with golden tongs. Then bring your things to the counter to pay. Both women working were very nice, one much more knowledgeable than the other, but were able to answer all of our questions and provide explanations for everything we didn't understand. If we are in Havertown and seeking a delicious pastry on a quick trip, we will definitely be back. You can stop in and grab what you want and head back out really quickly and have a delicious treat to keep you happy all morning, or afternoon. I FINALLY visited Tous Les Jours! I don't know what I've been waiting for!!! No wonder the majority of their sweet treats have the word "cloud" incorporated into them- everything, sweet or savory, looks like a fluffy pillow you just can't wait to bite into, squish, lay your head on (or all of the above). Case and point- I finished by chocolate cream cloud donut while waiting for my Tiramisu Iced Latte to be made. But in all honestly- this place is so cute. The selection of food is so unique and I love the French/Japanese crossover going on within the food. The bakery items are to die for (at least visually). The cakes have these intricate mouth watering details. Eat your eyes out! I tried to have self control, hence the single cloud donut. But, it makes me want to return and try more sweet treats. My specialty latte was absolutely superb! Some fancy lattes can be so hit or miss, especially because of the artificial flavors that are typically associated with them, but my beverage truly tasted and looked like tiramisu, and was not overly sweet either. I feel that overall there's more of an emphasis on appearance of the desserts than the actual flavors. What a great spot for some midday matcha out in the 'burbs. This place is part of a plaza and there's decent parking spots on site. There's a LOT of options for drinks and desserts and everything looks fresh and scrumptious. I opted for their iced matcha with almond milk and it was a perfect pick me up for a midday treat. The service was quick and the pricing was way better than the city so another plus! Will def seek this place out again if back in the area! read more

First, this is not the first here - we've been multiple times and service was amazing but today was a different story...Service was terrible today. The lady in the front had issues today. We bought more than 10 patries including cream filled croissants. We told the lady we needed a box as we always do but she just packed them in a bag...we repeated our request but she just pushed the bag to us without saying a word...we then decided to just take the bag and leave...there was no line so no reason to rush and smash everything in a bag...Also, she didn't give us the receipt...all is all worst experience so far at this tous les jours location. Favorite stopping spot when we are in the area for the freshest pasties. Dear daughter prefers Starbucks to their coffee though. Really enjoyed their pastry stuffed with cream and strawberries . We first tried this bakery in Charlotte and fell in love. When we drove by it when in this area, we had to stop. This one was a lot smaller than the Charlotte one. This time we tried: - Taro Cream Bread - Yuzu Pie - Mushroom Onion Cheese Pastry I loved all three of them. I think the Taro Cream Bread might have been my favorite, but it's a hard choice. The Mainline and Philly has some awesome local bakeries - Italian, French, Amish, Jewish Greek and American. I have favorite bakery item at each of them. I'm so excited to now to have an additional French/Asian style bakery /pastries near me without traveling to NYC/NJ Mitsuwa grocery store ( Maido has baked goods from NYC/NJ but limited, I love Al A Mousse but they don't have many pastries ) Chinatown Philly has some gems but Tous Les Jours is close to drive and has more French style patisserie selections. A little background - Asian style pastries , cake and cookies are not super sweet in taste- why I love eating them. Cake is very light and fluffy and not dense. Icing is more of a mousse and not thick and rich. Bread is milky and slightly sweet. So if you use to a dense cake you may have to get used to this. I still love Terminis and Bakery House cakes- they are just different styles. I bought a birthday cake for my husband earlier this month and it tasted so delicious - much lighter than a sponge cake and icing so fluffy. After dropping my son at camp and treating myself on a Friday, I popped into Tous Les Jour around 8 am to to get fresh bakery goods. Tip: not much choices at the end of their business day. When you go in you see the pasteries in a glass case , trays and tongs - use the tongs to add it on a tray ( put parchment paper first ) and oh please don't use your hands and fingers to grab them. Put tongs back when done. You take your tray of yumminess to the counter and a server will package up each item individually- I bought an almond croissant. Spinach cheese croissant. Apple pastry. There are also pre packaged Individual sliced lemon and cakes, breads and cookies You will see Asian inspired: red bean, matcha added to their pastries and hot dog in a pastry. The counter had a selection of cakes . They also have coffee. I ordered a matcha latte. Very good quality matcha. Next time I'll do coffee- but can imagine French dark roast. Walked out with my haul for the weekend and I will be back soon - if I'm going to take in the calories you may as well eat quality fresh and tasty baked goods, not processed with preservatives. Supermarket baked goods are reasonably priced for quantity however I'll pay a bit more for the quality and taste at a specialized bakery. Love this place! read more

There were very many customers and it was getting a little hectic in the small store, so I really applaud the employees for working so diligently and professionally under all of that stress. This one is smaller than the ones I am used to, but everything is still delicious and everyone is kind. The cake itself is moist and flavorful and the cream cheese filling is not overpowering. You might find yourself eating a few pieces of it because it tastes soo good and light! Their other cakes are also great! I would say their pasties are good but not great. The cashiers are really helpful and nice. The inside is pretty big I usually find a spot to sit when I go there. They also have seats outside. However I wouldn't recommend studying here as it can get quite loud with music and people talking. read more

This place brings back Study Abroad Nostalgia--so many romps around the streets of Seoul and being so so delighted to find the differences between each store. This location doesn't disappoint--all of the main staples are here, from the sausage bread, plethora of croissants, milk bread, macarons, and the cutest stock cakes for all of your celebratory needs. The seating area is limited, but they have outdoor seating in the warm months and a little bar stool section by the farthest window. Parking isn't necessarily an issue, and it's walkable from the Haverford regional rail station. If you're used to Asian bakeries, you will feel right at home!
