I've been going to Wavemax for the past year and the facility is clean and they have several washers and dryers. I have also used the fluff and fold services and Alejandra and Raquel are both kind, professional and do a great job with washing my loads. They come out smelling good and soft. Unfortunately, I had a recent experience last week with a new worker (guy) who didn't wash my loads as good, my linens weren't soft and I questioned if he used enough soap. Hopefully, that won't happen again. read more

Hands down the best laundromat in OC. Clean, state of the art technology that's not only cost and time efficient, but better for the environment as well. Bathrooms are always immaculate. The owners are extremely kind and generous and by the way they interact with their customers and run the facility, you can tell they really care about their business which is a huge plus. It's the reason a lot of people keep coming back. My favorite thing about WaveMax that sets this laundromat apart from others is that they have a QR code/pay from your phone feature as well as a rewards program. This means no quarters needed!! Literally what other place offers that? Super convenient and the rewards incentive is a really good businesses model. This location is smaller than other laundromats in the area, and although I do live by three other laundromats that are a 5min walk, I would rather go out of my way to come here because of all the things it has to offer. Since they've opened they've been picking up a lot more business (great for them), so it does get swarmed during the evenings and weekends. Limited parking available, although there's alley parking and the option to park in the neighboring plazas to the right and left of the one WaveMax is in. Best times to come would be anywhere before 3pm. However, even when it's busy the turnoverfor a new washer or dryer to open up isn't too long of a wait. It's worth it in my opinion. 11/10 would recommend. We need more laundromats like WaveMax! read more

Great place to wash! Always clean, 16 washers in different size loads with large dryer machines. My only complaint would be to limit the amount of washers being used by a single person during peak hours, too many times I come in and one person is using 5-6 washers at one time. read more

Gets the job done when you need it. Washing machines vary in size and cost depending on your load side. All are front load washer. You have to download an app and add your money on your account. You scan the barcode attached to each washer and start it from your app. I've only used the washers as mine recently broke. The only issue is the parking because it's in a small plaza with very little parking. read more

As a dust mite allergy sufferer, there are certain items I like to take and wash at a laundry place. This laundry place is very clean, friendly, and modern! The owners here are all very friendly and good at keeping this place nice and clean. Such a big difference when it's clean. You can tell when you look at the machines glass door. The machines here are app enabled so you can easily scan the QR code and pay via app without having going through the hassle of looking for change or making change. You can also keep track of time of the machines on your app. They also play Disney music videos on large TVs to entertain little kids. They also have wash and fold service for the people who likes the convenience. They also offer free detergent when I forgot my detergent once. read more

Thank you Jessica you're amazing Today I had to have my Queen size comforter cleaned however it was too expensive to take it to the cleaners so I decided to wash it myself. I looked up the nearest laundry mat, several can up so I decided to go to WaveMax Laundry on E First St in Tustin I had not been to a laundry mat in 50 years so I was completely unprepared. Lucky for me that the owner have this knowledgeable, young lady named Jessica, she was able me she explained all about their water system. She explained how the washing machines work which washing machine would be best for my comforter and how I could download the app so I could pay for the washing and drying. Jessica is so knowledgeable due to the great training she received from the owners of the WaveMax laundry. I have the most extraordinary experience at a laundromat. I was trying to find a place to wash our queen size blanket with drop off services, and I found out that WaveMax Laundry was super close to us! I am so thankful I found this place! The owner was really nice and helpful as it was my first time there. I was able to drop off my blanket, do my morning workout, and errands. About 2 hours later, I received a text message it was ready. The cost of washing our blanket was $25, which isn't bad. There's an app provided that shows the progress of the laundry being cleaned, which was really helpful; I appreciate keeping track of what exactly is being done, which I really liked! I'm definitely going to come here again if I need anything bulky to be cleaned. I love the drop off service! read more

It's finally open! Download the "LaundryPay" app prior to save some time and create an account before. When you open the app it Will automatically connect to their wifi, you must allow ALL prompts. I had a hard time connecting and it was because I didn't allow access to something. But when I used my sons phone I realized what my mistake was on my phone. They have 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10 load washers. It's $1 a load (ex: 2 load washer $2) there is a fee .50 cents for hot water, or heavy soil option $1 extra. Dryer I believe was .50 cents per 8min to start it. I did a 2 load, a 4 load (+heavy soil+hot water fees for 1 load) and 3 dryers for one hour and i spent $13.11 I loved the experience. It was easy once I got past connecting via app. But fear not any non tech savvy ppl, you can also use quarters too and they give change. I prefer via the app but appreciate the option of being able to use change when needed. It's clean, and has an employee on site. Although they weren't able to help much with the app, they were nice. Parking is limited in back. Better off parking in the front lot that it shares with a couple other businesses. It's not a huge place but it's big enough. read more

Please do not get fooled by the looks of this place. Let's start off with the parking is very very small! They share parking lot with 5 other businesses so good luck to finding a spot when trying to unload your laundry. 2nd the laundromat itself is very small and they offer a fluff & fold service which half those loads are taking up the space that's left for walk in customers to do their laundry. 3rd the prices are ridiculously high! If you want to wash your load in hot water that's an extra .50 cent!!! Honestly this place is not worth it. You'll be frustrated with parking, and if you are trying to wash a few loads good luck to being able to do so at the same time. Last but not least, they have an app which most machines require you to download an app and load money onto, if you have any money left they will have their account person refund you the remaining. Jessica assisted me with everything. I walked in unprepared to do my laundry. I made the assumption that I could buy laundry detergent at WaveMax, therefore, I didn't bring any. Jessica to the rescue - she gave me laundry detergent. I assumed that I could use the app without assistance, however, it was being difficult! Jessica to the rescue - she spent several minutes with me until we got the app working properly. Since Jessica helped me so kindly with everything I needed, I thought I'd push the envelope and ask for dryer sheets. I wholeheartedly expected her to say, "woman, I've helped you enough"! Customer service is what takes a great business to the next level, it's what makes it a "never go anywhere else" kind of business and that's what Jeremiah and WaveMax have accomplished. The establishment: extremely clean - it doesn't matter what time of day this place is always dialed and clean. The app is amazing. Let's you know when loads are done, let's you know what machines and how many machines are available, makes payment a breeze, all around functions and works perfectly - I've never had an issue with it. The app also has a built in loyalty program that is extremely generous, Im always cashing in points for free washes or free dryer time. The machines are awesome - tons of options as far as how big your load is, if it's delicate or needs cold water, heavy soil, extra rinse, longer wash with double soap cycles, there's an option for whatever your need is guarenteed. The dryers are strong, very fast, and there are two sizes depending on your load. This place is the BEST! Oh and there water is treated with UV Lights - I mean where else does that?!? Such a good idea and game changer for keeping there equipment super clean and bacteria free! Just forget going to any other laundromat this is the only place you need. The staff: as I mentioned customer service is what takes a good or great business to the next level, to the level of "never going anywhere else" type of business. I needed to wash a queen comforter and my stacked washer dryer combo was not going to cut it. WaveMax was the perfect solution with multiple load sizes washers and ability to pay with an app vs quarters. I wasn't sure which machine to use for the comforter, but the woman working there, Jessica, could see I looked a little lost and offered to help me figure out which one to use and how much time I would probably need for the dryer. She even gave me a tip to come check the dryer a few minutes before it's done to add a few minutes more if needed instead of the minimum dollar for a new load. As someone not used to going to a laundromat, I really appreciated her tips and kindness. Machines are nice and the whole facility is clean and doesn't feel cramped. The app tells you which machines are open and how much time is remaining on your loads so you can plan accordingly. My husband and I were bummed because the washing machine where we're at was busted. We found Wavemax in a search for laundromats and went there. We expected to be doing laundry all night. We found the machines to be amazingly fast. They did our wash cycles in 17 minutes! I'm used to waiting a minimum of 45 minutes for a cycle. Then, we poured our four loads of laundry into two gigantic dryers. It took only 20 minutes to dry everything. Not only is the whole process fast, but they give you soap, and fabric softener sheets. We forgot to ask about the softener liquid, but our wash turned out great! And, there's always someone on premises if you need help. It would be perfect if they at least had some vending machines inside. I would've loved to buy a soda. I'd still highly recommend this place over and over again. read more

I am thankful to have read the other reviews first and figure out the whole pay on the app thing. (Thanks Ming-Jou!) One note to add, bring a few quarters with you. I calculated out all my washing, but needed a few extra minutes on a couple of dryers. Instead of reloading the app, I was able to use quarters I had in my car to finish off the drying. The inside is clean and well maintained. The app and machines were easy to use. Although I used this for a regular set of laundry and a blanket, I think the big selling point here is cleaning large items. On top of the large machines, they also have larger dryers which was a nice surprise. My blanket normally takes a long time to dry in a normal sized dryer. i was able to dry it here quickly since it had room to actually tumble and get the air flowing around it. I'm happy to write my first review of 2023 for WaveMax, a locally-owned, small business in my own neighborhood. TLDR: Clean machines - the owner is always wiping down the machines in between washes and always sweeping. Download the LaundryPay app so you don't have to bring quarters and you can also check to see how many machines are available before you go. Owners are local, support small businesses! I've never been to a laundromat before in my adult life. I used to try to wash my sheets and comforters at home, but when I got king-sized bedding, it was impossible to fit them in my home washer and dryer. Getting ready for the new year, and with the rising costs of utilities (anyone look at their gas and electricity bill recently??), I decided to get all the down bedding out. I Yelped a local laundromat and found WaveMax. It's really close to me and the reviews all raved about how clean it was and easy to use. I'm glad I read the reviews first, because I hardly have any change on hand, let alone a ton of quarters. I downloaded the LaundryPay app another Yelper mentioned, and because I'm within close proximity, it pulled up WaveMax. I was all set and ready to go before I even got there! It's in a small strip mall with limited parking, but I got lucky and got a spot right in front. I hauled in my giant comforters and asked for help. Janet, one of the owners showed me which machine to use, how to put in soap and how to use the app. She says it's best to get on their WiFi so it pulls up their store. I used one of the two giant machines for my two giant down comforters, and put it on the comforter setting. The machine tells you how much it costs, so you can pre-pay on your app and scan the QR code on the machine. It will show paid and you can push to start. It was so easy! For the app, there is a minimum pre-pay amount of $10, so you have to calculate it just right if you aren't going to be a regular there. For the large machine to wash comforters, it was $12 and automatically sets it to 45 minutes. I just really enjoyed sitting there and watching it swish around in there. It was like washing machine meditation lol. Then I had to ask which dryer I should use (I felt really helpless in there), but Janet helped me out again. I put it in on medium for 25 and it got them almost dry, but not all the way. I had to leave but since they were down, I didn't want them too dry, so I just let them finish air drying at home. I had such a great experience that I came back the next morning! I brought the rest of my comforters and a couple of sheets and did the same thing. Janet was there again and even helped watch my 4 year old as I had to go back and forth taking my comforters to/from the car. I love it there! I told all my family members who live in the area to go there if their washer/dryers ever break down or they need to wash bigger items. I'm actually excited to go back when the winter season is over to wash everything and put it away. They've only been open since May 2022, so please go out and support them. read more
