    Shrimp Tempura Rice Bowl
    Amber D.

Wave Sushi is a fantastic lunch option in the skyway. I've tried a few menu items & so have my friends; everything has been stellar! I typically go for a sushi bowl; this time, I got the Tempura Shrimp Rice Bowl & loved it. The shrimp was perfectly breaded & crispy, with a good portion. Next time I think I'll ask for extra sauce, but overall, 10/10! My friends got some rolls & miso soup, all of which were really tasty. I love that they have a kiosk/order ahead system; it makes ordering a breeze & the folks who are making the food have always been super friendly when they call out my order. There are plenty of tables for 1-2 people plus, & the decor is simple but clean & nice. This place deserves all the business!

I am a sushi girl today, and I love me some seaweed the amount of seaweed salad they gave me was amazing. It was in a little baby scoop per usual at some places and the edamame so fresh. I use the self-service order in the food came quick.

Really good lunch option in the downtown area -- huge portions, fresh fish and reasonable prices.

Momo Sushi is my favorite sushi in Minneapolis. Everytime I get asked for a sushi spot…read morerecommendation, I always say Momo. The rolls are huge and packed with incredible combinations. There is a great variety of rolls so everyone is going to be pleased with the meal. The restaurant itself is tight on space but the dining experience makes up for it. I recommend you beat the dinner rush and go early when they reopen for the evening. Warning, it does get really busy almost everyday because it is just that good! Location-wise it is great because if you struggle to find parking in the small lot next to the spot, you can park on a residential street behind the restaurant and take a short stroll. I'm curious as to what the takeout experience is, I haven't had the chance to order, I would rather dine in the restaurant.

It was fine, we walked through the Indian grocery next door. (also fun!) We had a great little table inside. We ordered the Giaoza pork and tumpra veggies to start. (everything was gone the second it hit the table, so no pics) The arrived the sushi, and the hibachi. Every bit was amazing. No left overs and my son (8) orders more Goaoza to go! It was less that $60 for our family of 4. I can't wait to come back and try more.

It was extremely packed. There was no place to wait. I got on an electronic waiting list- I was 5th. It was about 7pm? Billy After Dark around the corner was closed that night so they suggested Flora and I went there. I decided to come back when I moved to 3rd place on the waiting list and it was about 8:20pm. They realized I had a reservation and canceled the waitlist and I was given a choice of table but chose to be seated at the sushi bar. I ordered the salmon carpaccio (again) and the tiger maki (again). Both were great. My waiter Conner was very attentive and had a sense of humor. I talked to The manager who was genuinely interested in the weird journey to my seat over the last few hours as a single diner. We didn't solve the voicemail mystery (we called and they picked up. When they didn't pick (as told) up there was a regular business vm. Strange.) Highly recommend. Will return. Make a reservation early on OpenTable. Or be prepared to wait many hours. Don't bother to call ahead early.

Once seated, it was fun to see the menu with the pictures and decide what to order. I got a drink that was beautiful--very carbonated and a little bit bitter in taste. I ordered the bad and boujee roll for one of the rolls and it was SO GOOD! I would highly recommend this roll to anyone ! Sushi was delicious! Would return, just at an earlier time, would maybe reserve at an earlier time and arrive a little early to be seated sooner.

It was far too cold for me to walk anywhere and this was not far from the place I was staying. I was pleasantly surprised as in reading about the sushi train and how it work I felt a bit better about my experience. They have RFIDs on the plates so they know how long it's been going around and then take it off so it doesn't go bad. They had a great variety and there were a couple item that go by on the belt that you have to ask your server for, so you know it is fresh. Not bad if you are looking for decent priced sushi and spending an arm and a leg.

Legit do not know how to feel about this place…read more On one hand, service is pretty okay, conveyor belt sushi is always fun, and this place is large enough that you get a serious conveyor belt experience as it snakes all over the restaurant. On the other, the menu has somewhat different things I am still not sure how I feel about. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich (err, roll?) I guess is a good and welcome attempt to expand to more American palates, even if it seemed odd. There were some cakes or something also out that, well, some seemed like what I expected, some others did not. They clearly labeled things on the plate holders on the conveyor belt (never seen it done quite so, uh, obviously, before), and since they have six tiers of plates (by color), they can price things accordingly as well. Not going to lie, even tho sashimi was pricer and it looked like the coloring was doing a lot of work, it was nice to have a protein-heavy option without the carbs (as much as I love rice...). Speaking of, their rice is actually decent enough in quality. I guess the overall experience is passable enough, even if it wasn't cheap.

I got the curry (I forgot the exact name, something like manamma) at level 3 spice, which ended up being a bit too spicy for me, but the flavor itself was really rich and well done. They also have a great happy hour menu, which makes it easy to try a few different things. Service was smooth and food came out fairly fast. Wait time wasn't bad, even during a busier time. The space is clean and comfortable, good for both casual dinners and small group outings we had a party of 6. Portions are solid and everything felt consistent quality-wise. I am SO torn on this review. Here's the breakdown:…read more Menu: Their menu options are so awesome. Authentic Japanese food, tons of options, and lots of fun stuff. Drinks: The Last Samurai cocktail & the Imposter Among Us mocktail were both delightful. Love the unique drink options, and the two we had were executed beautifully. Sushi: Unfortunately, the sushi was a bit disappointing. We had the hotate yuzu, Suzuki oshizushi, tamago nigiri, and the futomaki. The rice was unfortunately undercooked, and also too lightly seasoned. The tamago was alright, the futomaki was very good though. Dessert: The yuzu custard - one of my favorite desserts I've eaten in a long time. Definitely the best thing we had and I would absolutely get it again. Service: Our service was pretty good. I did watch one of the other servers grab soup spoons by the part you eat from and then bring them to a table which was concerning. Note: For anyone with dietary specifications: they offered gluten free soy sauce, and the custard was a vegan dessert and it was delightful.
