Menu. Fish sells out daily so order early!

Phenomenally fresh! We really enjoyed our trip to Eat Street Crossing. This was our main course and while we almost couldn't finish it was certainly the highlight. Fish was extremely fresh and the flavors mended perfectly. Our only regret was missing out on the Toro which had already sold out. Will be back! Servers were friendly and noted you could get nigiri if it was not overly busy.

Located in the eat street crossing food hall. Lots of seating available. Parking is ok with their free lot but the area is a little hard to get to. Every aspect of the sushi is done very well! I was really was impressed with the quality, texture and flavor of the rice. Its fluffy and soft. The fish pieces are large, melt in your mouth and flavorful. This place has tuna belly (churo toro) which is uncommon to see and find! Rivaling the selection of Chef Baaska and Billy sushi but more accessible to the average person. In the future, I hope they will offer a chef's choice nigiri flight. This quality of fish could shine in a nigiri. The rolls are large and a good price. The salmon hand roll has full intact pieces which in my opinion is better than the minced fish. My favorite was hirkari roll followed by the salmon hand roll. The owner Jason is very nice and passionate about his food. Sitting at the bar and talking with him is a really a true Japanese experience!

My fiancé and I tried this place out and we loved it! The rolls were so delicious and had a lot of flavor. Our service was great and quick. Also, Eat Street Crossing is always a good vibe.

A new hand roll bar has opened in Minnesota!! Located in Eat Street Crossing (great location with other restaurants in the food hall). When I went there, it was still soft opening so, it was not as busy yet. The worker was super friendly and informative. My friend and I got the spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy crab and scallop hand roll. The worker informed us to eat it right away, or the seaweed would get soggy. I would say each roll is very simple and basic but that's what I like about it. It will definitely fill you up quickly. Each roll was stuffed and kept me very full. I was only able to eat two hand rolls before getting full. My favorites are the salmon and spicy crab. I'll def want to come back and try more out!

Eat Street Crossing's food court has Hikari which is known for their hand rolls and they are good! It was fun getting to know Jason, one of the chefs, as he talked about the restaurant and his knowledge in sushi. I liked the spicy scallop handroll which is a popular one. I also had a 6 piece premium sushi order that was a treat if you like toro. They ran out of uni but he added extra toro on top which was awesome. The premium sushi is pricey but the fish is high quality.

I tried the Sexy Salmon Roll. It was 8 pieces for $20--so the price was extreme to me. The service was good. My husband and I went for a late lunch on a weekday afternoon, and we were served promptly. Although, I do have to say that the pieces are bigger than usual. Overall, it was decent sushi. Due to the pricing, I would have a hard time deciding which rolls I wanted, but I'm glad they have a home at Eat Street Crossing.

This sushi restaurant is located in Eat Street crossing foodhall. We walked into the building and I saw a familiar face. I didn't know my friend is now working at this place. I asked him to make me a poke bowl, one with rice for my friend and for me veggies. This restaurant is known for their hand rolls and sushi. The poke bowl he made me was delicious.

Have been back several times and can say that quality and service is consistently stellar. Chef Jason and his team take great care in using fresh ingredients and provide wonderful service. New favorites are the toro handroll when available and the sexy salmon roll. Great ambiance and love that there are many seating options in the food hall. A fun place to go with friends and family!

Hikari Handroll Bar has become my go-to sushi spot in Minneapolis, and for good reason. Jason's passion for quality shines through in every hand roll--fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. With top-tier imported seafood, great prices, and consistently warm, welcoming service, every visit feels special. Whether it's a birthday celebration or just an excuse to return, I'm always impressed. If you love sushi, don't hesitate--give this place a shot. Minneapolis has been waiting for a spot like this for a long time.

Hikari Hand Roll is a brand new sushi/hand roll spot inside of Eat Street Crossing. I love sushi and have struggled to find good quality sushi that is even somewhat affordable in the Twin Cities, and this place definitely delivers on both counts. I went with a friend and we tried the Hikari sushi roll, which for $22 is sizeable and packed to the brim with fresh sushi-grade fish. We also tried the sexy salmon roll, which was packed with spicy ahi and topped with buttery salmon slices, and the scallop hand roll, which chef told me he imports directly from Hokkaido, Japan. I got to talking with Chef Jason and was blown away by his passion for sushi and providing good quality dishes for his customers. They are in a soft opening stage right now with a grand opening next month, and I will DEFINITELY be back!

Chef Jason did an amazing job delivering fresh hand rolls bursting with flavor, freshness and quality. The over atmosphere was fun and upbeat! Will definitely come again. Recommend the spicy scallop hand roll, spicy salmon and tuna!

Unreal! We had four rolls, and they were all impeccable and just filled to the brim with fresh, flavorful fish. Hikari quickly became our favorite sushi shop in Minneapolis. We will absolutely be back with friends and you should go too!

The fish was fresh and good but IMO the rolls were super Meh. Not a lot of flavor or options. Probably wouldn't go back.

There is a great variety of rolls so everyone is going to be pleased with the meal. The restaurant itself is tight on space but the dining experience makes up for it. Location-wise it is great because if you struggle to find parking in the small lot next to the spot, you can park on a residential street behind the restaurant and take a short stroll. We had the salmon carpaccio which was the highlight of the meal. It was similar to a sashimi but was doused in a delicious sauce. We then had the squid game which has a much smokier flavor than expected - it almost had an essence of teriyaki and was probably our least favorite though not bad. We went with two rolls: the 2-14 and the Mishap. Both were absolutely delicious. We were ready to order more but our waiter was nowhere to be found. We waited several minutes and then decided to just get the check instead. We recently moved from a place known for its sushi so we found the quality of fish here to be good - but not outstanding and would echo the sentiment that prices are pretty astronomical. The vibe of the place was cool and the dishes were good but the price and service definitely cost it a star. We walked because parking in the area did look pretty tough!

Even for the Kosho, you get 4 tablespoons worth of juice in a huge wine glass. The menu can be a bit hard to navigate since so many menu options are unique but the server expertly guided us through. We ordered the Maitake Karaage, Duck Tataki, Mentaiko Lumache, chicken thigh yakitori, and a wagyu yakitori. Likes Vs Dislikes: LIKE the Maitake Karaage - this was the best dish of the evening. Fried mushrooms with scallion mayo, gave the texture and flavor of fried calamari but it's actually mushroom. LIKE the Mentaiko Lumache - this pasta was incredible. Perfectly al dente noodles with a unique almost cup shape that gave a nice bite of noodle and sauce together. The sauce was delicious! Dislike the yakitori - felt like there was little to no value here. You pay $7 per skewer which contains barely 3 bites of chicken. It was pretty average tasting too. Wouldn't waste the money. Like and dislike the Duck Tataki - delicious in flavor, nice and fatty, ponzu and mango added a great flavor. Disliked that for $22 you get hardly 4-5 bites of duck. Tiny tiny skinny bites mind you. Felt like the value wasn't there for this fish given how good it actually tasted. I'd look elsewhere on the menu. Overall, given what we liked, the ambience and staff, I am giving this a 5/5. If money isn't a factor then come here and go crazy, but if value matters then stray away from the yakitori and Duck Tataki, just my 2 cents.

Recently, I started coming for the food dinner and realized I was missing a lot. Their menu is very thoughtful in each dish has a nice variety of textures and flavors. I will say that their Ramen is one of the best in town. I think really what sets it apart is the broth being super in depth and they grill the pork belly which makes it really smoky and tender. This time I branched out and got the grilled squid as well and it was exceptional. The soy ginger glaze on it was incredible. The only few downsides I think I've noticed is service can be a little bit hit or miss which is surprising how small the places. Even when sitting at the bar, it took a little bit to get their attention. Also, I've tried a few of the cocktails and for the main part they just taste like alcohol with a soda. They sound extremely creative on the menu, but the balance isn't there. Either way I've typically gotten sake as they have a nice little selection. Overall, I love the whole vibe of this place.
