When I noticed a water leak from the water heater, I immediately called the Fidelity Home Warranty and I was told somebody from Water Heaters Only would be calling to set up an appointment. I received a call with in 30 minutes from Bill working for Water Heaters Only to schedule an appointment. The appointment was set for 08/23/2014 between 8 am to 10 am and Bill told me that Ron from Riverside would be there. On the day of the appointment, Ron called at 7:39 am to let me know that he was on his way, he was coming from Riverside and he would be at my home in 30 to 40 minutes. Ron arrived at 8:10 am introduced himself and took a look at the old water heater. After looking at the water heater, Ron immediately told me that he was going to recommend to install a brand new water heater and he was going to talk to Fidelity, get the paperwork ready. After Ron recommended the action plan, Fidelity immediately call me to let me know that they would authorize to install a new water heater and any upgrades like the drip pan would be out of pocket. I was very happy and Ron immediately worked on installing the new water heater with a drip pan. Ron showed thorough professionalism, gave 100% attention, made sure everything was done right, and I was satisfied 110%. Ron knew what he was doing right from uninstalling the old water heater and replacing it with a new one. Ron explained what to watch for and safety tips very clearly. Ron gave importance to customer relations by making sure that I was completely satisfied and if I had any concerns or questions. Ron never showed any frustration during the entire installation process and was always smiling. I would definitely use Water Heaters Only for my future needs and if it is Ron it is a double bonus. I don't know why these guys don't have 6 stars! Don't call anyone else!!!! David, who answered the phone early on Sunday morning was kind, nice and polite. He understood my situation and promised me he would have his tech out first thing this morning, which he did. Tony, the tech, was beyond awesome! I don't know what else to say! He knows his water heaters and he figured out why my less than 5 year old water heater broke so soon and explained everything. He promised me he would install this one perfectly and I would have -0- issues going forward. He gave me a 2 hour estimate for the water to be off and he was right on schedule. He is a blessing to Water Heaters Only and deserves a big bonus for the job he did for me, because I have a house and a duplex.... So there are 2 more water heaters just waiting to break and I know who I'm going to call and who I'm going to ask for. If only my miserable Airbnb guest had 1/2 the kindness that Tony has, this would have been a perfect experience. But no... She's a nasty lady who obviously doesn't realize, now a days things are not made like they used to be and they break sooner and faster. And I have no control over that! June 21, 2015 - Our water heater started leaking water on a recent Saturday morning and our plumber referred us to Water Heaters Only, Inc. for a replacement. The service they provided was excellent. David was our technician/installer and he was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the entire job and what additional parts needed replacing. He worked quickly and efficiently and the job was completed in about 1 hour. However, we had an unexpected problem come up after David left when we tried to use our BBQ. The grill wouldn't ignite and the water in the tank wasn't heating because the pilot light had gone off. I called the office and David phoned back and we tried to troubleshoot the problem but it couldn't be resolved. We'd have to wait until the next morning when he could return and check out the situation. Early the next morning he was at our house on time and discovered the problem was because the automatic earthquake shutoff valve had been inadvertently touched during the installation and there was no gas coming through the line. He reset the valve which opened up the gas line and gave instructions about how to do this in the event it happened again in the future. Water heater died early Saturday morning Sept. 22. A good friend Recommended Water Heaters Only. Phoned and spoke to Bill. Ball park figure on the spot. A little high but he promised to have an installer out in 2 hours. About one hour and 15 minutes Mario showed up. Friendly, smiling and neat. Took a look said no problem, then turned and looked at the 16 steps leading from the street and said, "extra man" and the cost. He called Bill and no one was available, but can do between noon and 3 on Sunday the 23rd. Ok. 11:30 Suday here comes Mario, has old heater out and all plumbing ready for new heater, extra man shows, helps carry old one up new one down then he leaves. Told Mario, I thought I bought him for the day, he could cut the lawn , do some watering. Mario laughed and finished up. Great job. Mario left the area neater than when he came and it was a pleasure having him here. Price is a little high but the quality of the heater and installation made it worth while. Sadly our water heater died this morning. I called Water Heaters Only and first contact was Valerie. She was so nice and helped me figure out some options for replacing our water heater. While we were chatting she was setting up my appointment. Less then an hour later Tony arrived. He was super knowledgeable and extremely comforting of my anxiety over dealing with a big a replacement. He shared options on size and brand that would be best for my family. Once I made a decision, he went to work and under two hours all was complete. Bar none the nicest, most knowledgeable team I've worked with on a home repair, EVER. It is late at night and a pipe to our water heater was leaking.The pressure reading was very high (120 psi). We called Greg at Water Heaters Only. After sending him a photo, Greg expertly and patiently guided us how to relieve the high pressure in the water heater tank and shut off the water supply and gas valve to our very complex system with its befuddling array of pipes and valves (the radiant floor heating system is tied in somehow). The water heater is now safely shut off until it can be repaired in the morning. Had a water heater emergency over the course of a weekend...no hot water for two days. I had plans the whole weekend, so there was never a good time to get it fixed. Not fun! Found WHO on Yelp after hearing about them from a local plumber, called them on a Sunday at 9:30pm, and thank goodness Randy picked up and was able to make an appointment for first thing Monday morning!
