Rene just left my house, we had a foul odor coming from the pipes believed to be the from the bathroom. He came, inspected around the area and snaked the pipes. Although we weren't able to 100% see where the scent came from he was able to rule out any leaks. After Snaking the foul odor gradually went away and I believe whatever the issue was, was solved. He recommended we also call again to have a camera check for any possible clogs we might have not been able to get to, but he definitely fixed the issue. After snaking the odor was gone. Glad I found this place on Yelp. They definitely earned a forever customer. Thanks Rene!

It was a broken toilet seat, they did not need to come out...but when they did, they left the automatic functions of the toilet not working. They literally broke it, demanded to be paid...and ordered a toilet seat. After i paid the 250 visit fee they said they would not do the repair. They took my money, broke my toilet, and then refuse to finish the job. They don't take credit cards, so you dont have that recourse....obviously they have scammed before. Horrible, horrible company.

I thanked him for his time. I did a thorough seach and finally found Mike's number. I called explained the situation, sent pictures and a short video of the leak. Mike came out with his helper in what seemed like 30 minutes and removed and replaced the faucet and hoses in 10 minutes!! His price was very reasonable and again the courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge displayed is above and beyond. The response time is epic. Thank you Mike and your helper (Bobby I think) for being an outstanding person!

FINALLY! We have found a plumber we can trust and who responds in the most professional manner!…read more Derral Yee responded to our desperate plea for help immediately after we detected a SECOND leak in our home. He carefully explained that due to the age of our home and the poor quality of our copper pipes, a repipe would eliminate the worry of future probable leaks. Derral also gave us a cost estimate for a repipe and explained the leaky pipes could be repaired at a much lower price. Not wanting to deal with the doom of another impending leak, we chose to repipe using a combination of PEX and high-quality copper pipes. Derral's team showed up on time and the repiping was completed in LESS than SIX HOURS! This time frame included repairing all holes in walls and clean up! It is amazing how we take running tap water for granted, but we will never take Derral Yee and his team for granted. Derral was the utmost professional who was in constant contact with us by keeping us informed about scheduling. He always sent us his projected ETA, and he always showed up on time. His projected estimate was exactly what he said it would be to the penny. He required a 10% deposit and payment in full upon completion and satisfaction of the project. We highly recommend GK Plumbing! Derral Yee is definitely our go to plumber from now on!

The latest project I had for him was redesign my dryer vent as the duct was cracked at the opening near the outlet. He made sure the pipes slope in the right incline to ensure the flapper is open when air flows out and remain close otherwise so pests would be kept out. I got most of the parts ready for the project and he was able to make use of them to the fullest even though not all was ideal: e. g. no elbows, need straps to secure pipe to wood and a 4 ft vent duct instead of the standard 8 ft that would be stronger. He was able to grime the pipe edges for better connections with his tool. We saw very good air flow after all was finished.

I also hated the hard water and wear on my fixtures and he installed a filtration system which has made a huge difference! While it did add to the cost, during his evaluation he noticed that pipes under house had tiny leaks. Nothing had been replaced since built in the 50s. He showed me pictures before and after and I'm happy and relieved to have that peace of mind. Everyone I know who has hired this company has not only been pleased with their final product, but found them so professional to work with. I'm so happy a friend referred them to me. On this most recent plumbing repair, however, communication and follow-up fell short. The following week after the repair, a staff member noticed the kitchen sink near the repair area had very low water pressure. Since our office has limited in-person use, I followed up the next week once I was able to review the issue. I also had not received the invoice, even though my business card was provided onsite. When I spoke with the owner, the invoice was sent that evening, and I was told they would call the following week to schedule a time to look at the pressure issue. That follow-up call never happened. I later called and sent a detailed text with my availability to meet onsite, but received no response. Due to the lack of follow-up, we are moving forward with another plumber to assess and resolve the issue. In a commercial setting, timely communication and reliability are critical, and unfortunately this experience did not meet that expectation.
