EPIC FAILURE My wife and I stopped for dinner at Warwick Thai. She ordered a summer roll to share and the sampler plate. I ordered the yellow curry dish. The summer roll and drinks came out fine, then my curry came out and the waitress said her order was coming right up. 15 minutes later, as I am near finishing my curry, we are wondering where her dish has gone. I tracked had to track down waitress as she didn't seem to check on tables and asked "Where is the platter?" She said she would check on it right away. I sat down and 10 minutes later, as no one came to check on us, my wife went to the bar to ask for our waitress. The waitress informed my wife that her order wasn't placed, and asked "Would you like me to place it now"? My wife went next door to get Mexican. The manager of the restaurant came to me with the bill and said "We removed the platter" Nothing more, not "I'm sorry", not "How can we fix this", not nothing except placing the bill on the table and walking away. So: Waitress - FAIL - Disinterested in her patrons and their needs during a dinner. When realizing there was an issue, she didn't even come over to discuss options of other quick meals. We had to go find her TWICE. Kitchen - FAIL -Maybe - I'm not sure if the kit hen dropped the order or the waitress. Frankly, I don't really care. Management - EPIC FAIL - Just not engaged or considerate of their patrons. No wonder the staff doesn't care, since the management doesn't care. It shows. Food: The food was OK. The summer roles were the best and the yellow curry was ok. It was listed as spicy, but throw some red pepper on a slice of pizza and it was about the same. I think I am a harsh critic of thai food, but its because its my FAVORITE cuisine. I tried this place about three years ago, and I did not like their red curry at all. I had a friend visiting this past weekend, so I figured I would get a second opinion about this place. This time around I ordered vegetarian drunken noodles, my friend steered far away from the currys after I told her about my experience. She ordered a vegetable dish. I actually really enjoyed my drunken noodles, I could have finished my order right there, but instead took some home for later. My friend seemed to find her vegetables were ok. So my suggestion if you're craving thai food, just stay clear of the currys, and maybe just stick to the noodles. The service was very quick here and the staff was super kind and attentive. Party of five with two children, reservation at 7pm on Friday. I am a frequent visitor to Thai restaurants - I know and understand the cuisine well. The bartender was incompetent and had to return to my table twice to clarify my simple order and tell me "my drink is out of stock." He finally prepared watered down cocktails that none of us drank.. The waitress was clueless - I had zero confidence in her getting my order right, had to double check a number of times. She would often disappear and I had to ask someone else for service. Was not able to communicate well.. The food was bland and unimpressive. Massaman curry and Red curry tasted the exact same! Menus were dirty and difficult to read in the poor lighting.. We have been to so many Thai places in our life. We judge a place based on it Pad Thai and theirs was uneatable. Came here on a Saturday night for dinner with the girls and had a great time. Some of the items on the menu seemed a little pricey but our bill was fine for what we ordered ($200 for 4 people). We tried a variety of drinks and they were fabulous. I appreciated the large glasses as well for the $8-$12 price. For appetizers we shared a bagel sushi roll ($14) and chicken satay ($12) --- I would come back for the sushi roll alone -- it was absolutely delicious. Our entrees all came out together and piping hot. I had the Drunken Noodles with beef and absolutely loved it. I was not a fan of the Pad Thai. I read mixed reviews on that dish but maybe it's just not my cup of tea -- It was sweet and I prefer savory. Minus one star because the "green tea ice cream" tastes nothing like green tea ice cream. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed that it's green-colored, vanilla ice cream. I told the waitress and she said, "Awww, sorry." Umm, OK. $8 for a scoop of vanilla ice cream? Get dessert somewhere else. Would this keep me from coming back? I don't think so, but clearly I'm not over it lol. We really loved the outdoor seating and music but once the sun went down, people literally couldn't see the food in front of them and started moving to the indoor space. We all agreed the patio could benefit from string lights or even something on the table. Went out for a casual dinner with my best friend and received superb treatment. The food was so delicious I'm still happily, uncomfortably full. The cocktails were flavorful and strong and the service was efficient. The restaurant owner was even kind enough to say hello, introduce himself and treat us to a cocktail. And the ambiance and decor inside the restaurant reminds me of a chic dinner place somewhere in some large city, a beautiful edition to our small town. Not my first time being at Warwick Thai, after tonight will never be my last. Only thing that would've made everything perfect if they had their mango and sticky rice dessert that unfortunately is out of season. No worries I'll wait till May for it. Food was average for Thai cuisine, nothing great but not untasty either. Service was a little lack luster in my opinion but that could be due to one server for restaurant although they were not very busy during our visit. Finished meal and waited another 12-15 min before i went looking for the tab. As far as ambiance, i think there are several unfortunate smells as you enter the facility from ingrained dirt in floors to the fish tank at the entrance. That is a matter of my opinion but what is not opinion is the dirty service plate left at the place setting. I had to retrieve a clean plate for myself from an adjacent table. Typical Thai staples on the menu, but wow, are they pricey! I got a Thai iced tea, small salad and soup which cost me $21 altogether before tax and tip. Bruh! Was it worth it? Not really. The iced tea was run of the mill. Soup was flavorful (it usually comes with shrimp but they switched it out with tofu for me) but the papaya salad left something to be desired. Service was friendly but a tad bit slow, if we had been in a rush we might've been ticked off. No excuses cuz we were one of like 3 tables. Overall, I've had way better Thai food for a lot cheaper. I was so excited to see a Thai restaurant open in Warwick and several of my friends praised it from its opening. On a Saturday night, we didn't have a prayer of getting a table before 8 pm without a reservation, so we happily sat at the bar. The service was good; no complaints there. We ordered Thai iced teas and were delighted that they were served in such large glasses. One sip, and I knew I wouldn't be finishing it. They were way too sweet and with barely any coconut milk. I stirred mine and gave it time to absorb the ice..nope..still very sweet. Then, I watched a server at the bar prepare more Thai iced teas..pouring a non dairy creamer over the top. I found the food to be just okay and everything overpriced for what it was. Everything we ordered - from the spring rolls, to the noodles, to the beef - were just okay. The sticky rice that we paid extra for was the highlight of the meal... I appreciate that the owner has another Thai restaurant in NJ, but I don't like that some of the items are roughly $2 more expensive just because it's Warwick. I have several favorite Thai places in my rotation in NYC and none of them are this expensive. I really wanted to like Warwick Thai, and I really hope they improve in time. read more

I was so excited when I found out a Thai restaurant would be opening in town. My first experience there today was not bad, but it was nothing I was expecting. The restaurant itself is clean and really modern. It is definitely a nice space inside and I like the decor. Our server was very friendly and the overall staff was very attentive and nice. The food though was nothing spectacular. In short, I've had better. Much better. I ordered the Thai ice tea and the chicken pad Thai. I love pad Thai and have had my fair share of it, and this did not even come within my top 10. It is also overpriced for what they serve, and the thai rice dish the rest of my party ordered smelled exactly like dog food. It wasn't appetizing. I will go back because the Thai tea did nothing wrong to me, it shall not be penalized for the pad thai's wrong doing. But I don't feel it is worth a meal there. read more

We ordered the appetizer sampler for two and it was awesome. It came with two pieces of chicken sauté , Thai dumplings, curry puff and spring rolls. Definitely start with this. Whatever dish you order I recommend to keep it at spicy and don't increase the intensity because it is painful. Lol Brew: For a Thai restaurant they had a beautiful well rounded beer menu. Negatives were vast beginning with terrible pad thai, worst we've ever had and not cheap. My husband is convinced it came out if a jar. I tried as well and left bad taste in the mouth. My green curry was okay but waitress did not advise me of spiciness when ordering. My son ordered the grilled salmon and it was good. The rice portions could be larger though imo. We had 7:30 reservations for four adults. We were seated promptly outside and were given water and menus. After waiting 10 minutes or so our server took our drink and appetizer order. Our appetizers came out at a reasonable time. Spring rolls and spicy chicken wings. The apps were good. We continued to sit with menus still waiting for our drink order as well as to order our main course. Well, after noticing other tables being seated after us and drinking and eating, we decided to get up and walk out. In total, we were sitting about 40 minutes with still no drinks and no ordering. I explained to the hostest on the way out of what had happened. She was very sympathetic and apologized. Unfortunately the owner from what i was told was out doing an errand. Their food is pretty good. Joy is our usual waitress and she is so kind + funny. The atmosphere is nice. They offer sushi as well. It's not your typical sushi but it tastes good. I'll be honest; I've only tried the peanut satay chicken. I thought it was great, and I've gotten it twice. But it seemed expensive for an appetizer. It's 3 THIN strips of chicken on sticks and a tiny to-go bowl of peanut sauce. They charge $2 for an extra sauce!! They charged me $15 for a to go order! Ridiculous, I thought. I was able to try this place out over the holiday weekend. It was completely empty when I got there in the early afternoon on Friday. I guess it was still a work day, so I'm not really surprised by that. I ordered the curry puffs and massaman curry with chicken. Both the appetizer and entree were delicious and unlike others, I quite enjoyed the food. However, I consider this a bit too pricey for the area. Prices are on par with Manhattan and what's nice about Orange County is it's all around cheaper than living in the city. The atmosphere is set up very fine dining, but it doesn't need to be quite so stuffy of a setting. Would be nice if if felt a little more approachable and accessible and perhaps they'd have a bit more customers and /or families stopping in. Just my 2 cents. read more
