Some damage was done to the front door of our building after an attempted break in. Warman Security came out right away and replaced our locks. Thorean immediately identified the problem with one of our strikes and offered solutions. He repaired and replaced mechanisms where necessary and even made some repairs around our door to secure it until our contractor could arrive later! We also needed metalwork repairs and Thorean recommended two companies for the job. They try to chiseled more money out of you even when it's under warranty. Through the years of using this company, what impresses me most about them is that: They are on time, on budget, polite, and professional. I am VERY confident in their skills, their conduct, and their range of services. They have a well-deserved, excellent reputation. The first time I used Warman Security was in 1980, when I moved to SF. I was locked out of my apartment and they did what any locksmith would do...they got me in. I remembered them when, five years later, i rented a new apartment and had them come out and change the locks for me. They were very professional and they explained several options to me. I had a slight problem with one of the locks a week later. I called them and they out and corrected it immediately. I opened a business in Silicon Valley in 1990 and again I called them. On 3/30/2018, a Warman Security work van, plate 8S43525, driven by Zachary Adzit struck my vehicle. He pulled over, admitted fault and provided all information but now they are avoiding returning phone calls and avoiding the insurance company. I am driving with a broken drivers side rear view mirror for 3 weeks. They are avoiding contact with their insurance company, Liberty Mutual, agent Andrea Obrien. Therefore avoiding paying the estimate fix of $270.00. I could only imagine how they would fail to pay or be responsible for any other damages they incur on peoples property and/or large projects. I am a professional property manager and the recent 415/628 area code changes has caused a lot of people chaos because intercoms need to be reprogrammed to work properly beginning 2/21/15. Everyone is stressed and overworked, but Warman stepped up their service and covered my last minute requests without a hiccup. Very commendable and super professional. These guys were great! Someone got a key to our house who we did not want in there. In reading the reviews for Warman, I realized I could save a bunch if I could bring the lock-set in rather than having them come out. I removed it from the door, took it to the store, and they re-keyed it, with 5 keys, for $37.50, in less than 5 minutes. And we had a very pleasant conversation during the work. I had four padlock keys I wanted duplicated. The first time I went to Warman, none of the keys they produced worked. The second time one worked and I was told by Public Storage that the others were made on the wrong blanks. The third time two more worked and I then took the fourth padlock to Warman. After four visits, all padlocks now have working keys. Their employee said it was Public Storage's fault because they keep changing the blanks they use and the fourth padlock required a safe deposit key blank. Although Warman didn't try to charge me for the numerous useless keys they gave me, they weren't at all apologetic for their mistakes or for the fact that I had to make four trips there before the finally got it right. If you want to spend days going to Warman in the hope they'll eventually get it right, do so, but if you want efficient service, forget them. read more
