But, I truly needed a functional backup pair and started hunting around. I knew I'd be paying more for this pair since I've graduated now to progressive lenses. I didn't want to go back to Walmart or Costco or Target, because those glasses still cost a pretty penny and have never been a great fit. The last pair I got from Walmart a couple of years ago, no change in prescription, makes me woozy. Eyemagination had such great reviews here, I decided to check it out. And the instant I walked through the door, I was filled with confidence that this was the place. I was welcomed by Maureen and Stephen right away. After introductions and a nice chat, Eyemagination started to feel like an old-fashioned salon or barbershop, where you've been coming for years and it feels like family. I didn't realize what goes into a proper glasses fitting because, I guess I've never had one! You get your face measured. You get your dominant eye checked, spacing, all angles and nose bridge noted. They have gadgets. It's the closest thing you'll find to choosing the right wand from Ollivanders. I'm pretty sure my glasses chose me. The technicians are part artist, part clinician, part engineer and part designer. I was helped by Maureen, the lovely, twinkly-eyed, warm shop owner. Stephen also joined in, and was sharp, attentive, caring and impressive. The two make an excellent team and they found me a frame I would actually enjoy wearing. When I returned a week or so later to pick up the glasses and get a final fitting, both Maureen and another lovely lady whose name I am forgetting helped adjust things perfectly. Maureen really wants the glasses to fit and feel comfortable and watches you like a hawk to make sure you are truly happy with your selection. My prescription was challenging but she nailed it. My mom's sunglasses look fantastic and I'm sure her regular glasses will too when they're ready. The frame selection was super, even for the lower-priced options. Skip the zoo at Costco, Walmart or Target and swing over to this local business that has been knocking it out of the park for several decades. They are so warm and welcoming, you'll walk away wishing you needed a pair every year just to visit for the company and lovely conversation. Thank you fellow Yelpers! #ShopLocal There's plenty of room for power chairs / wheelchairs.

Short and sweet:…read more Super knowledgeable, super friendly, super descriptive and finally have a prescription I like!!! Highly recommended! The details: Glasses and exams are separated - have to go the back to get your eyes tested and they have all the bells and whistles (without the price tag) Know how you sometimes need to do the dilation test? Well, they have a super cool computer scan that can give you even MORE details. I learned more about my eye than any place I've ever gone before! The doctor was friendly, efficient and knew his stuff!! When he matched me perfectly the first time I knew I had found my eye doctor.. I asked him to please not retire anytime soon! Not only am I near sighted, I also have an astigmatism and it's sooo hard to find the right lense and contacts for me. This place made it seem like this is everyday stuff and got me fitted super quick!! The guy who checked me in was super detailed and cleaned everything as we went along - so you def don't have to question how clean the place is! They print out everything after they explain everything in detail - there is no guessing no asking for anything printed, they just offer it! Then to the ordering - I already had my own frames and they didn't make me feel bad (like some other unnamed places) - Visionworks was just happy to help!! Rachel was the one who assisted me getting my glasses and contacts ordered. She shared how to get some combo cost savings and didn't mind me blabbing my story of why I was afraid to order the left, but definitely wanted to get the right - don't know if I'm changing prescriptions or not for the left just yet (it was such a close change. Even when I wanted to double check the eye measuring for the glasses she was happy to let me, even when it read the same (haha- thanks Rachel!!) Overall, I was so impressed with my experience that I can say I have found my new vision place for LIFE!! I had seen reviews of other locations and get a smidge nervous - but if any Visionworks is like the one here off of Staples, you are in GOOD hands!

My optometrist told me that if anyone could help me and give me my independence and freedom back, it would be Dr. Lynne Noon. My consultation with Dr. Noon was thorough and she laid out my options for me in a straightforward and professional way. That is something I will always be grateful to Dr. Noon for!! Her team at Viewfinder have always been the consummate professionals whether it be the billing department, front desk, or Jill, who fits you with glasses and everything after you get them (fittings, tightening, etc). I have passed out stacks of Dr. Noon's business cards to my other Doctors, friends, and anyone else who might benefit from visiting Viewfinder. If you or anyone you know has vision issues, I cannot recommend Dr. Noon and Viewfinder strongly enough. Get your freedom back!

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. The actual eye exam and doctor were…read moreperfectly fine -- my issue was entirely with the employees on the floor who assist with the glasses and customer service afterward. My daughter and I walked in and were not acknowledged at all until another customer came in several minutes later. After my daughter selected her glasses, we sat down and waited for assistance while there were three staff members on the floor, with only one actively helping a patient at the time. Despite us waiting over 20 minutes, no one came to acknowledge us, check on us, or offer assistance. Instead, the male employee began helping another female employee with her patient while a third staff member remained sitting at the computer. Another customer then finished browsing glasses and was immediately acknowledged and helped, even though my daughter and I had been waiting much longer. At that point, I asked for my daughter's prescription so we could leave. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the excessive wait, and no concern shown whatsoever. The experience made us feel completely overlooked and honestly felt intentional. Again, the doctor was great, but the lack of professionalism and customer service from the floor staff completely ruined the experience.

I love them and within one year, I hate the broken version of them. Last night I decided to locate an eyeglass repair shop to take 2 of the broken glasses ($900 value). Mike was amazing, he educated me on 1) eyeglass handling (removing them and putting them on with "both" hands, versus just my predominant hand), 2) my most expensive pair had arms that were pretty heavy (causing the arms to break from the frameless lens). By the way, I tried to glue a portion of them until I returned from my vacation :) hmm. Michael gave me two options, he could repair them or I could replace the temple arms with a HighTech Titanium, that are hingeless and screwless. I agreed to replace them. THEY ARE AMAZING! Very forgiving with my big hands. Since you can barely see the arms they look classier than my initial set. I love that they are VERY lightweight, now I just have to remember to take them off during shower time. THANK YOU MICHAEL AND ALL AMERICAN EYEGLASS REPAIR! Where have you been all my life :)
