I do need to return to have a slight tear in the other eye, and grateful it is not as large and serious as the right eye. I would recommend Dr. Gordon and this practice should you have serious eye concerns/issues.

It was like a taser to my eyeballs. The doctor was also very rough as he poked the area around my eye. I had to take Tylenol for several days afterward due to the pain. Another issue is the wait time. Before the procedure they had to "numb" the surface of my eye 5 times (over 30 minutes) because the doctor did not come in. As I write this, I am in an examining room waiting for a follw-up with the doctor​ - it has been over 1 hour. When I asked an assistant why it was taking so long, she said that the doctors here are Specialists and I should expect a two or three hour appointment every time I come . The only reason I am not giving this review 1 star is that my vision is okay, but I will never come to this office again .

He also performs systemic health screenings to identify overall health issues affecting the eyes, such as diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, Dr. Janousek is highly skilled in prescribing topical and oral medications for eye infections, allergies, and inflammation, and he provides excellent surgical co-management before and after procedures performed by their seasoned ophthalmologist. The eye exam process is very efficient. The optical technician, Heep, is professional and thorough during the initial medical review and pressure testing. The practice also utilizes retinal and fundus photography to capture detailed digital images of the inside of the eye to screen for diseases. The administrative staff is equally wonderful. I have been struggling with ocular migraines for over 20 years. In the past year, they have gotten so much worse. I think my neurologist is at a loss as to what else to do with me at times. Dr. Bailey had just heard about the Altius migraine contact lenses and asked if I was interested in trying them out. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, since it would be amazing not to have to rely on daily medication. I felt relief from an oncoming migraine the moment I put these contact lenses in. I have now been wearing them every time I have to go into the office or have a full day of computer usage ahead of me for about 3 weeks. I went from 3 to 5 migraines a week to MAYBE one. My family has been coming here for several years for our annual eye exams. The clinic is modern,…read moreclean and professional. You are always greeted by their receptionists right away. The doctors here are excellent optometrists. Just be aware that they will always try to sell you on getting retinal imaging which is not covered by vision insurance. I happen to have medical reasons to get this done, but no one ever spends the effort to ask if I would like to use my medical insurance to cover it. If you want to save another doctors' appointment, it might be worth $59, but you may have to demand they submit to you should check your insurance coverages. I decided to save this type of exam for an ophthalmologist for their scope of practice. The lobby has many brand names of eye frames to choose from. Every year I ask if they have "asian fit" options or brands and they have yet to add to their selection. I was told they have some of those brands at the "other" office. When I asked about ordering from the catalog (I happen to know exactly what brand and style would work), they were kindly able to order it for me. However, when I inquired about the cost, it is clear there is a significant uncharge for their "broker" fees. You might consider just ordering the same frame cheaper from many options available online for the exact same thing. You are basically paying extra so you can try it on in person. It is coincidental that it will also be just above what your vision insurance covers. Overall, the eye care that is delivered by the optometrists here is great. I have always received excellent care from them. The extra services and add-ons should be carefully considered for the value if you so choose. Also, this medical complex has becoming increasingly busy and it is often much harder to find parking each year. You might need to allow a few extra minutes to circle around to find a spot so you are not late to your appointment.

Anyway, I got all the information I needed and then we went into the eye glasses area where we could try on glasses and discuss prices with another women. No one was ever pushy with purchasing but rather gave me the information needed to make my decision. We decided on glasses for the both of us as well as contacts for me because it made sense with my insurance and went up to pay. Everyone we encountered was super nice and made us comfortable.
