Had cataract surgery after having had another eye surgery that caused the cataract. The staff here…read moreis very friendly. Receptionist kind of gets to you when she's ready to. She'll leave you standing there and not even acknowledge you for quite some time. (most people just need a little wave or eye contact to show that you know they're there. That's all I'm asking for). This is the only complaint I have about this place. When you do get her attention, she's very polite, but there's just no acknowledgment when you show up. Dr. Depenbusch is fantastic, Austin is also great.! They explain everything in great detail and make sure you understand, provide you with options and listen to you! I highly recommend Arizona Eye Center!

The best experience in a clinical office EVER! The staff are professional, delightful, caring,…read moreeasy to communicate with. They are like a 'well oiled machine' working in unity. Everyone sufficient in their perspective positions. It is such a pleasure to arrive with no tension felt from a staff not getting along. We have witnessed unpleasant patients, but the front desk handled with such grace and was able to resolve efficiently and quickly. Unpleasant people can make a waiting room full of people uncomfortable. All we can say to the front desk is JOB WELL DONE! The doctor is not just professional and caring but we really believe he is about the best results possible for his patient. We never felt like the next number to be seen. Very grateful. When there was a delay in our appointment time, it was because the doctor cared enough to take on the emergency for someone in need. Although, inconvenient to those waiting, so grateful to know if I had an emergency, he would be available for me. Highly recommend this office! Thank you and God Bless Arizona Eye Center for all you do. Rick and Daleen Barrick

Retinal Consultants of Arizona - Gilbert - I don't think is the reason. It seems more simple than that - the problem is too many appointments being booked.

Today, I took my 84 year old Father to this location. I hate technology and had to check my Father…read morein on a computer. I have always felt this world makes it really difficult for the elderly to function, especially forcing them into portals and emails. You are over 80, coming to an eye doctors appointment, can you even see the screen? Then we waited one hour and thirty minutes to see the doctor but IT WAS WORTH IT! Dr. Itty is the real deal. Trust me. He's what your searching for when it comes to eye care for the people you love. My entire attitude changed when I meet THE best Optical Doctor, the Best Human, and the Best person on the planet to help my Father, Dr. Itty. This fantastic Doctor has a waiting room filled with patients and he took the time to answer EVERY question my Father asked. He heard EVERY word. He did this while looking my Father directly in his eyes. Like I said, he's a great Doctor. Dr. Itty didn't rush my Father or dismiss him like I've seen every other Doctor do. I was really impressed by his beautiful patience and his power of listening. Dr. Itty really was in the moment with my Father, not thinking about the other people in the busy waiting room. He was focusing on my Father and using 100% of his medical knowledge. I was very, very impressed with his thoroughness. Thank you Dr. Itty. You do it right. It is very rare today to meet a Doctor that isn't thinking about his next vacation to Hawaii or a new room addition to his Fire Rock mansion in the the mountains. If you take care of your elderly Parents 24/7 like I do, especially with medical needs, let me help you ease your fears. I know. I live with what you are going through too. Come here for this fantastic Doctor. Dr. Itty does care. He listens. He's the kind of Doctor we knew decades ago. And this review was written by someone who really HATES most of the medical profession. You can trust your Parents care with this Doctor. He lives in the moment. That's rare anywhere with anyone.

My eyes were dilated and numbed within 20-30 minutes of being called from the lobby on both visits, but each time I was then moved to a crowded, second waiting room. My rating would be higher were it not for the bad operational and efficiency aspects of my experience.

He made things WORSE, and he got extremely defensive when I said I wasn't happy with the results…read more Look at peoples' reviews with photos on Google reviews, then go to somebody else! I wanted my upper eyelid crease to not touch my lashes, which I could do by just raising my eyebrows a bit. He was supposed to do upper blepharoplasty with a browpexy, and he just decided to not do the browpexy (or he forgot, I don't know, there was no discussion beforehand about him possibly not doing it, and after the only explanation was that he'd decided I didn't need it). Now I have droopy eyes and nasty scars, and I don't have the money to go to somebody else to get it fixed. Worst mistake of my life!!

This man is the worst plastic surgeon on the face of the earth!!…read moreHe's so unprofessional he's all talk with no results, he performed surgery on my mom's under and upper eyelids, her main concern was her under eyes that look puffy, she went through the whole surgery the whole recovery, she saved money and this is something she has been wanting to do since she was in her 40s and she finally decided to do this for herself!! By six weeks we noticed shes looking exactly the same as she did before surgery (!) so disappointed we made an appointment to talk to him about it . We were certain that he would be unsatisfied himself and he would want to fix it too because this is his reputation and his name and something is very wrong, as it doesn't make sense no matter what for someone to do plastic aesthetic surgery and look the same right?! So instead he acted as if he doesn't understand what we're talking about he said my mom didn't communicate properly and it's our fault My mother felt humiliated and so disrespected and just a note to Dr. Edelstain when you are the surgeon it's your job to understand what your client wants and I'm pretty sure that when anybody comes in for plastic surgery their goal is not to come out looking the same. He is such a disappointment and my mother that finally decided to do something nice for herself is absolutely crushed that now he wants to charge her money to fix his horrible mistake How can we trust him again?? Nobody should!!
