First off.. this business is a great place for rich people to spend their money. The business engages in the classic 'Bait & Switch'. The other classic tactic Dr. Olson uses is to charge a ridiculous amount for a consultation.. $250. This fee is not refundable but you can apply it towards a procedure. At the consultation, no matter what quote they give you for your procedure, you're self pressured to go ahead and accept it because you don't want to lose the $250. $250 is an unethical amount to charge for a consultation. The amount they charge for procedures is overly inflated. Since the Advanced Plastic Surgery Institute moved into their big fancy building their business has been more about one thing.. profit. After all, they have to pay for that big fancy building. My advice is to go somewhere else, somewhere where your best interest is truly at heart.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Flint four years ago and I was immediately unhappy with my…read moreresults. I mentioned how unhappy I was at every single follow-up appointment, but was gaslit out of my feelings. It is only within the past year that I've gotten around to doing revision consults with other surgeons -- all of whom were shocked at my results. Several of them made comments asking if my surgeon was new, if this was their first day, if this was their first time doing this procedure, if they just "winged it" without taking any measurements, etc. I've now had multiple other surgeons offer to do my revision for free because of how poorly my procedure was done the first time! I trusted Dr. Flint with my self-esteem, my health, and my life. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to her, and in response, I was horribly mistreated. Dr. Flint insisted that I had unrealistic expectations, that I was being difficult, and that the very obvious mistakes I was seeing were not actually there. She even went so far as to complain about me to the nurses in the hallway right outside of my room. Dr. Flint watched me cry during my follow-up appointments as I expressed how disappointed and mutilated I felt...and she had no empathy for me. She has taken absolutely no responsibility for her mistakes, nor has she made any effort to amend them. Dr. Flint was dismissive, arrogant, cold, and just mean to me from the moment I met her to our last appointment where I left crying and decided to never come back. I thought I could handle her horrible bedside manner because she seemed like a competent surgeon. But I never would've imagined I would end up like this, and dealing with Dr. Flint's contempt whilst experiencing the emotional devastation of a botched procedure made everything much, much worse. I would have more grace for her if she had met me with empathy instead of cruelty. I would not recommend Dr. Flint to anyone. If you're looking for a surgeon, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I don't think Dr. Flint deserved the trust I gave her, and I certainly don't think she deserves your trust. I'm not one to leave reviews, but after receiving confirmation from multiple other surgeons that my results were not just bad--but shockingly bad--it felt too important not to. I would hate to see anyone else suffer the way I have because of Dr. Flint.

At the age of 17, after a severe pedestrian vs. car accident, I had breast implants placed to…read moreaddress asymmetry caused by skin grafts. At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

Mommy Makeover My…read moreexperience with Dr. Wilson was beyond amazing. I traveled to Arizona from California just to go to Dr. Wilson, and I'm 9 days post-op writing this. When I decided I wanted a full mommy makeover I was a little overwhelmed and afraid that I would not be able to handle both procedures at the same time. I read blog after blog from women who had this done and to be honest with you, it scared the crap out of me. When the procedure was over and I was taken home I went straight into a recliner. I was up with some help after 4 hours walking to the bathroom with guidance, but I was walking there and not in a lot of pain at all. I figured it was all the pain meds and when they wore off I would be definitely in a lot of pain. Nope. I got up every 4 hours walked to the restroom and went a sat back down. I was still waiting for the horrible pain to happen. Don't get me wrong I had discomfort but I did also have major surgery. Day 2 I was talking with my family members on the phone, did a lot of reading and napping but was still fine. I could now get out of the chair on my own and could walk to the bathroom by myself and didn't need any help. Yup day 2. Discomfort but nothing that I was expecting has happened. One pain pill every 4 hours did the trick. I was sitting up in the chair eating soup, jello or even pudding. Day 3-5 was just watching a lot of TV, napping in a recliner and resting. I could do everything by my self. I emptied my drains and all, Day 6 I went to my Appointment with Dr. Wilson, I had no trouble getting in and out of the car and walking to his office. Day 7-9 I pretty much can do it all by myself, the pain I expected never happened. Once again, the difference between discomfort and pain is a big difference. I believe the gentle hand and the experience Dr. Wilson brings to the table makes a big difference. I would and will recommend a mommy makeover to all my friends. - Denise

The experience of setting up a breast lift and implants has been horrible... It started from…read morecalling to get consultation and asking questions the staff made me feel like I was bothersome or asked to many questions..I let that slide.. ( maybe she was not patient that day). Set up consultation, attended it, and seemed like it went well, asked for the quote before leaving and they said they will call me,.. okay...I received a phone call later that evening and she ramled off the numbers to me verbally, I was unable to right them down at the time as I was driving. I kindly asked for the information to be emailed to me. She said she cant do that and it will have to be sent to me in the mail. Okay.. Now after getting all the money together from the quote.. cash mind you...I needed to set up appt.. In order to set up appointment for surgery, they must receive 500.00 cash in person or 500.00 cashiers check sent via mail... So, my thoughts are Im going to send you 500 dollars and dont know if I can even get the date I NEED for surgery.. to align with my home/work/life balance and time off work with recovery time frame.. I needed a specific date.. nope they couldnt guarantee it or tell me if I could choose that date until they had my 500.00.. and thet wont take the pmt over the phone, no cc, no debit cards, nothing. So I had to leave work early to get a cashiers check from bank before the bank closed since they are opened from 930-5 and I work 830-5. I had to send them the money as soon as possible so that I could HOPEFULLY get a specific date that im requesting.... oh and let me add, while talking to them Nov 29th, they dont even have the anesthesiologist schedules to see when they will be available for dates in Jan... surgery cant even be scheduled if they had my 500 in hand.... Meanwhile they need clearance from my PCP to proceed with surgery, but my PCP is asking for a clearance letter to be sent to them explaining what is required or needed and I get told by Kathy at Dr. Wilsons office they dont do that, they dont have nothing to send out but will try and call them... ?? Advised them on multiple conversations they have made this whole process stressful and caused so much anxiety, that what if I am not cleared or what if I cant do surgery because heart rate or blood pressure goes up (white coat syndrome) due to nervousness or whatever the case may be on the day of surgery..... She says it will be a fee of 88% of your fee since its 72 hours or less..... so basically I will lose 15k out of pocket cash if for some reason I cannot proceed with surgery. Well ever since I heard that, everytime I think of it ,my heart starts pounding.. I cannot phathom losing that much money if my body decided to get nervous or something on surgery day...they have not been comforting during this entire "ELECTIVE SURGERY" process...So I will not be going through with this surgery and I will not be going back to this place period because of how I was treated by the staff. They need to learn patience and consideration on how they speak to people that have never done an elective surgery before and willing to pay thousands cash to have the procedure done. They dont need to make people feel like a burden and possibly enhance their protocol and procedure on how to collect the money from someone to make a smoother transaction..THIS IS SOMETHING I HAVE WANTED TO DO FOR 2 YEARS SINCE LOSING OVER 100 LBS ON MY OWN AND SAVED CASH TO DO IT, IT HAS NOW BECOME A STRESSFUL DISASTER I FAIL TO COMPLETE.
