Both are veterans and truly care about their patients. I arrived about 10 prior to my appointment and was warmly greeted immediately and enjoyed some coffee as I waited. BTW, great coffee! My name was called shortly afterwards. The technician that performed initial tests was pleasant and professional. Doctor Herion is always a pleasant experience! Highly recommend!

I've been to Carrot Eye Center a couple times now, to get updates on my eyeglass Rx, and every time they've been great. The last time I was in, they did a very through check of my eyes, and thanks to their equipment, were able to show me why I was having a slight issue in one eye when reading. Dr. Herion really seems to love his work, and it shows. He took the time to explain to me what was going on, which gave me a more complete understanding of the issue. They were also able to compare their diagnostic imagery with a prior visit, which was interesting to see. Dr. Herion's team was very efficient and knowledgeable as well, and there was very little time spent waiting. Special thanks to Mara and Braedn too, for helping me out with a question I had after the visit, despite difficulties in reaching me due to my phone having issues. I'd highly recommend Carrot Eye to anyone.

He is functionally blind and deaf. Wrangling him to the different offices with different measurement machines can be quite the challenge. The entire staff in this facility is awesome. Our visits are on different days of the week and at various times of day. Very seldom do we see the same support staff. The process for the visit is well thought out and understood by all including the patients. Nonetheless, they are all always gentle, patient and supportive. In my 70 years, I have never encountered such a positive culture than I have here. Everyone is super helpful, seems to get along, and works as a cohesive team. I'll even go so far to say, that Bailey and Dylan, who share an office in Imaging, present as best friends. By any measure, a positive experience.

The customer service has been disappointing overall. The patient portal is equally frustrating--every time you move to a new screen, it resets, making it incredibly difficult to book an appointment. It's been a very inconvenient and discouraging experience trying to do business with this company. You are actively have so many issues and roadblocks for people to do business with you.

Despite arriving 15 minutes early and clearly communicating my time constraints for school pickup both to the receptionist and the NP who took me back, I was left waiting for nearly an hour while other patients who arrived after me were seen first. Only after having to leave the exam room to seek assistance did I receive any attention. But that's not the worst of it. Most frustrating was the doctor's dismissive attitude toward my anxiety management plan. When I explained my previous provider's successful approach combining healthy eating, exercise, and meditation, using a prescription only when necessary, ,he proclaimed "that doesn't do anything." His suggestion to save "2 or 3 pills for the rest of my life" from the last of my prescription was not only unhelpful but potentially dangerous. His unwillingness to discuss alternative treatment options or provide appropriate medication management was deeply disappointing. The unprofessional service continued after my appointment. The doctor sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, and it took multiple calls over several days to get a response. This error disrupted my medication schedule while traveling and created unnecessary complications with the pharmacy with the remainder of my prescriptions. This caused me massive stress and anxiety .... but why should he care...I felt like he didn't think anxiety was real in the first place.... This experience demonstrated a concerning lack of respect for patients' time, well-being, and established treatment plans. I strongly suggest seeking care elsewhere if you value comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare.
