I've been seeing Dr Pieper for the better part of two decades or so. She's always been caring and thorough when it comes to the health of my eyes and to ensure my glasses are completely dialed in. I wear two different sets, one for sitting in front of my computer all day at work, and my progressives for normal every day wear and reading. Unresponsive, very difficult for no reason, rude employees, stay away from this place you'll save yourself a headache. All I wanted was my prescription first I called to see if I could get it went straight to voicemail, tried 3 more times to no avail. Next day I call again lady finally picks up says I need to complete a form ok simple, WRONG, I finish the form then they take forever to respond, giving me credentials for a login into this website that doesn't even work until I figure out she gave me the wrong credentials (of course) so I figure it out on my own get INTO the website after an hour only to find out my prescription isn't even on there like what? Contact the lady again realizing that the place is closed and I have to wait till tomorrow again. Sending me on a wild goose chase and not even get my prescription like you can't just send an attachment through email? So now I'm just over it and I'm forced to go to the office to get my prescription. It's a piece of paper with MY info on it, is it that hard to just send it to me? Why do I have to go through this hellish process only to end up empty handed? Once I get my prescription I'm done with this place you can't even handle the simplest of tasks how can I trust you with my eyeballs? Our family has been going to Oasis for years. There service is great and have wonderful employees. My children and wife like Marci Pieper, O.D. demeanor, the atmosphere in the office and have always taken care my family's needs. They go over your insurance coverage and assist you in selection of glasses if you need help deciding what looks nice on you. Dr. Pieper has been our eye doc for many years and she and her staff at Oasis Vision Center continue to provide our family ( now only my wife and I) with excellent eye care. They may be a little more expensive than some of the discount chains, but this is a great example of you getting what you pay for. Since my review wasn't professional enough for the doctor here, allow me to rephrase. If you go to this office for an annual eye exam including contact lenses, be prepared for the following: 1) an opportunity to skip the dilation drops (and resulting headache) for $30 2) a $55 charge to be fitted for contacts on top of whatever the regular exam fee is 3) super angry responses when challenging anything about the final bill of $100+ The office is very nice and accessible. This office is poor and defensive in communicating even basic costs and billing information. When asked for specifics they wouldn't provide them. Based on my experience later in the day, their competition could define at least the basics. I note other poor reviews and glad I walked out of this place. Apparently, alot of people have. The terrible financial office and office communication & support really deterred us from ever wanting to utilize Oasis Vision Center for our eyecare needs now and in the future, even if Dr. Pieper seemed amazing! When we realized how much the schlera contacts would be and that we could not afford these, we told the receptionist that we just wanted to see Dr. Pieper to find out what else she could recommend for my husband's eyes/vision issues. She told us the Dr. appt & consultation would be $150.00, which we paid before going into see Dr. Pieper. We are not sure what went wrong, but by the time we finished our brief consultation with Dr. Pieper, again reiterating to her in this in-person visit that we could not afford the better, hugely expensive schlera contact lenses option and she recommended starting us with what Dr. Woolf initially could only offer us and that she would contact him to get that eye prescription information--we were sent out to the financial office, and they told us the charge would be about $2,300 for this eye consultation! I nearly fainted! We tried to explain to them that we did not want a schlera evaluation, and only requested and paid for a regular eye exam for the $150 charge! They could see that I was emotionally upset and sent us home and said they would work out the details. Since then, my husband and I have had several conversations about this exorbitant charge, and the financial person said she would drop the fee from $2,300 to just under $500--but we still do NOT agree with being charged for this since this is not what we wanted or requested when we came to this appointment. We are very dissatisfied with this pushy perspective their financial office has and wonder what happened with their office communications to have charged us with something we specifically told them before we even went into our doctor appointment with Dr. Pieper that we could not do because we could not afford the $4,000 schlera contacts, let alone the schlera evaluation fee! Dealing with this office's financial team has been a nightmare and extremely stressful for us, especially the wife who is trying to make our limited retirement income cover all our basic bills! I was looking for an eye doctor after a bad experience with another eye doctor in town, and chose Dr. Pieper at Oasis Vision Center for my contact lense exam based on several recommendations. I found the staff to be very professional and friendly and Dr. Pieper to be very friendly and very thorough. She took the time to explain all results of the exam and the images taken of my eyes. I appreciated that when they had to order a trial contact lense for one of my eyes, it only took 2 days to receive... and instead of just having me stop by and pick it up, hoping for the best, Dr. Pieper wanted to see me to make sure it fit and that my vision was good with it on. I had my first appointment here at 40 weeks pregnant and the people were so kind and considerate. They even seemed to remember me when I came back months later with my baby. Overall a great optometrist! The only downside was the prices. My insurance covered under a certain price and only two frames were in that range. It was so expensive. Oh well. I still ended up with a nice frame and all optometrists are expensive, so they still get the 5 star from me. read more

Disappointed by the customer service of this company. Why have a messaging option if when a customer messages you, you are just going to ask them to call your office. If I wanted to call your office I would have done so in the first place instead of messaging you. Your number is already on your Yelp page, I dont need you to message me back and say to call your office. All I asked through the message was whether or not you offered service for foreign object removal from the eye for a tiny piece of metal and what the cost would be. You couldnt even provide a price range. I Messaged another company about the same thing and they responded in about 10 minutes saying they did offer the service and a price range for the service. My eye doctor moved his practice to far away to continue with him. I have been searching for five years, five different doctors and offices. Dr. Marci Pieper was absolutely wonderful, she took time to explain exactly what was happening, corrected a misdiagnosis, and made me feel like the only patient they had, even though the waiting room was busy. I waited for 8 minutes past my appointment time, which is better then any doctor I have ever visited. The glass selection was unbelievable, Haley was patient, kind and helped me try numerous options. She ran many different cost scenarios and options. I do not write many reviews. However I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Doctor and staff is AMAZING! To start with I was not a patient here, but I had wanted a specific frame that I had found while traveling in another state. I tried to get the frame at MY eye doctor's office and called all over the Valley with no luck. Upon calling Oasis Vision, Sara, Optician, said she would find a rep and get the frames for me to look at... no problem. At this point, I was not even their patient!! I was SO impressed by the service that I instantly decided to switch over to them. Dr. Pieper and Optometric Tech, Trisha, handled my examination. The service and attention to detail was fantastic. I needed both computer and everyday progressive glasses, they worked so hard to get the prescriptions just right. Finally, I admit that am weirdly fussy, and the pattern of the tortoise on the frames was a little wonky. Sara didn't even question it, and immediately ordered me a replacement frame. I couldn't believe it. I have never been happier! Two thumbs up to a great staff and customer service! I will be a patient for life! read more

Dr Pieper is exceptional with children! My 1st grader was very nervous to go get his eyes checked. After seeing Dr P, he was laughing, relaxed, and excited to get glasses. Dr P was able to fit my 3yo in after my sons appt. Again, she was fabulous. She was patient, and understand with my toddler. The examine went smoother than I expected. I was looking for a new vision center/eye doctor and came upon Oasis Vision. I called and made an appoiment for contacts and was scheduled for about a month out. The receptionist gave me the option to be put on a, "on call list" and within a couple days they called me and said they had a cancellation for the next day. I showed up at the scheduled time and was in and out within an hour. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed and at home. Dr. Pieper and staff trutly do care and take the time to answer any questions you may have. Heads up they offer an eye test that eliminates having to have you're eyes dilated. read more

We've been a client for almost 10 years. The choices of frames are endless and their staff is always willing to play stylist. The Dr's equipment is the most high tech I've experienced.
