From the moment we…read morewalked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the entire staff. Christian, Debbie, and Cynthia were incredibly accommodating and made the check-in process smooth and easy. Dr. Nix is a true gem! Her knowledge and expertise in eye care are evident from the moment she starts her examination. She takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring that I understood my vision needs and options. I was thoroughly impressed with how efficient and thorough she is--definitely a doctor who cares about her patients! The entire team is not only professional but also super friendly and patient. They made my visit enjoyable--not something you usually hear when it comes to eye exams! I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my eye health. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional care with a fun and inviting atmosphere that will work for an entire family, I 10/10 recommend Wagner Eye Associates. Dr. Nix and her amazing team truly go above and beyond! You won't be disappointed!

I lost much of my vision in one eye because Dr. Wagner does not dilate eyes to check for issues…read more For two years I described new vision problems I was having to Dr Wagner. He said it didn't sound like anything he was familiar with. I also told him that another optometrist saw swelling in the back of one eye after she dilated it. He said he didn't see swelling or anything else wrong. He never dilated my eyes to look. He said it wasn't necessary because he uses a machine to take a picture, without dilation. Three eye surgeries later, my vision is still greatly reduced. An Opthomologist immediately saw that I had a torn retina and performed emergency surgery to prevent blindness (after she dilated my eyes to look.). I am leaving this review in hopes of saving others from having severe vision loss.

I've been to Carrot Eye Center a couple times now, to get updates on my eyeglass Rx, and every time they've been great. The last time I was in, they did a very through check of my eyes, and thanks to their equipment, were able to show me why I was having a slight issue in one eye when reading. Dr. Herion really seems to love his work, and it shows. He took the time to explain to me what was going on, which gave me a more complete understanding of the issue. They were also able to compare their diagnostic imagery with a prior visit, which was interesting to see. Dr. Herion's team was very efficient and knowledgeable as well, and there was very little time spent waiting. Special thanks to Mara and Braedn too, for helping me out with a question I had after the visit, despite difficulties in reaching me due to my phone having issues. I'd highly recommend Carrot Eye to anyone.

I was leery about going but I had to -- eyes are important! During eye exams, we are in very close contact with the staff and doctors which is a bit scary during this pandemic. Temperatures were taken and the chairs in the waiting are spaces approximately 6 feet apart. I wish they would have been further apart since I'm a germaphobe. When the space was full of patients, the staff asked patients to wait in their vehicles and they would call them when the room was ready. Temperatures were taken and everyone had a mask on. My visit with Dr Remington was good. I love working with her. She is very calm yet, personable. She explains things very well and is thorough. The first tech I saw was amazing. I don't recall her name but she is the kind of young professional with a lot of confidence. I liked that in younger person. I complimented her on that. She was efficient and that was appreciated. I was referred to a specialist and was surprised that the front office team made the appointment for me. I've never had that done for me before. Impressive! I'll keep going here because, why not? I am confident I'm in good hands.

Where I have a BIG problem is with the wait times. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 9:15AM. I arrived at about 9:05AM. I waited in the main waiting area...then waited in the middle waiting area...then waited in the treatment room. Finally seen by Dr. Matsumoto for a 5-minute follow-up for my surgery yesterday. Normally, I would not make a big deal out of an occasional extended wait time, but this has happened with this practice MANY times. Anything more than 15 minutes is just unacceptable. We DO have lives outside their practice. FYI, it was 10am by the time I was finished with my 5 minute, appointment.

She'll leave you standing there and not even acknowledge you for quite some time. (most people just need a little wave or eye contact to show that you know they're there. That's all I'm asking for). This is the only complaint I have about this place. When you do get her attention, she's very polite, but there's just no acknowledgment when you show up. Dr. Depenbusch is fantastic, Austin is also great.! They explain everything in great detail and make sure you understand, provide you with options and listen to you! Unpleasant people can make a waiting room full of people uncomfortable. All we can say to the front desk is JOB WELL DONE! The doctor is not just professional and caring but we really believe he is about the best results possible for his patient. We never felt like the next number to be seen. Very grateful. When there was a delay in our appointment time, it was because the doctor cared enough to take on the emergency for someone in need. Although, inconvenient to those waiting, so grateful to know if I had an emergency, he would be available for me. Highly recommend this office!
