Dr. Depenbusch is fantastic, Austin is also great.! They explain everything in great detail and make sure you understand, provide you with options and listen to you! I had surgery here for macular hole and a slight retina tear. The surgery went well and the staff…read morewas very caring and the surgery center staff was great. The only issue I had is that I was told multiple things that contradicted each other. For example, the surgery center told me that I would wear a shield over my eye for two weeks straight all day long. When I went to my follow up appointment, they told me no I really only needed to wear it at night time. The surgery center told me that I could request nausea medication from the doctors office. Should I feel nauseous. I did indeed feel nauseous and had dizziness and motion type sickness from this surgery. I spoke with the doctors office and they informed me that they do not write prescriptions for nausea medication, but that I would have to call my primary care physician for that. They aren't even aware I'm having the surgery! I also had my first appointment and we agreed I would have the surgery as soon as possible in the next available date. We were both available. Never heard from the scheduler, then finally called them after about 10 days and the surgery was scheduled for a few weeks out! Scheduler said Dr. had written not urgent. I did call the doctors office and it was rectified and moved back to the originally discussed date. There were multiple things like this and it got confusing and a little frustrating for me that the surgery center and doctors's offices are not on the same page. The office staff were very friendly and thorough. The waiting room had one other person ahead of us but we were taken to the back for initial work up and seen very quickly. I went in for both an update on my glasses and contacts. Dr. Wagner was very thorough, professional and friendly, well spoken, knowledgeable. The optical technicians/optical staff were also friendly and professional. Very good selection of glass frames--i wasn't planning on purchasing new frames this visit, but I did see some very nice higher end quality frames when that time comes about. The gentleman working the optical shop is awesome by the way. Professional, friendly...had amazing recommendations and was very meticulous in explaining everything...both for my contacts and my glasses. BTW - I recommend getting optical scan vs dilating drops for the examination--with the sun so bright here in Arizona it's tough to leave the office with dilated pupils! You'd be blinded even with a protective shield and really dark sunglasses! (Actually, I don't believe they'd let you leave right away anyhow--very damaging to you eyes) The optical scan is about $36 extra (maybe less, can't remember) but it's worth being able to leave the office without being blinded!

She prescribed the wrong prescription on her eye contacts and I called weekly to schedule a new appointment. Front desk was continually rude, rejected moving doctors due to already seeing Allison who is awful, and I called for 2 weeks to get another appointment to adjust prescription and front desk never even took the time to schedule a new appointment. 0 is a real non-bias grade. Avoid at all costs and go to southwestern eye center. This place is a joke. Power trip at the front desk on a 12 year old girl is really a grotesque take when she cant read at school and the doctor Allison Walsz cant make a accurate prescription on her contacts after a month for her to able to read. I cant not rank this place low enough.

The lenses, or the surgery did not work. My Eyesight at all distances is blurry. I was told to go get glasses, and that might help a little. After having my eyes check for glasses the optometrist said, "The eye that still has the cataract is better with glasses than the eye with no cataract, the Odessey Lense, and glasses." The optometrist said the eye that had the surgery will never be corrected with glasses. At least I still have one good eye.

Brandi greets you immediately and the sound of the faux water fall on the wall is amazing! Yes, the normal paperwork is necessary but somehow Brandi makes it feel easy to complete! When test are ordered Dr Edelstein personally ask Brandi to set it up and in addition to any follow up treatments and option. Dr Edelstein in brilliant and methodical in his examination of his patients. Now I have droopy eyes and nasty scars, and I don't have the money to go to somebody else to get it fixed. Worst mistake of my life!!
