As I was checking in, an unfriendly front office staff member asked whether I wanted the $39 retinal scan with my eye exam. I did want the scan, but my insurance copay was supposed to be $20, or at least that's what it said in my paperwork. She didn't offer any explanation, didn't offer to call my insurance, or even check with the doctor. She coldly stared at me and waited for my response. I decided I would find another doctor. There was no recovery attempt at all. I see in the Yelp reviews that I am not the only one who feels they weren't treated with respect by the front office staff. I want to update my review. Although I wasn't treated with respect, the information that Eye Concepts received from my insurance company did specify that I could be charged $39. This is in contrast to what my employer states ($20 copay). It wasn't Eye Concepts fault, rather an issue I need to take up with my employer.

I brought in a pair of glasses today that I bought in 2023. I fell asleep in them and they were all bent out of shape. I showed up at 530pm and just walked in. They had them adjusted and perfect in 20 minutes.

I would like to share my experience with Queen Creek Eye care on May 14th, 2026. I had been a…read morecustomer of theirs's a few years ago when I needed an eye exam. I was very pleased with the customer service and friendly demeanor. Last week I had my favorite pair of Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses that I had left on my armrest in my car. Unfortunately, the next time I entered my car, I sat quickly on my seat while leveraging my right arm on the armrest. That was the moment I bent the frame of the sunglasses! I tried re-bending the frame and I made it worse. I decided to contact Queen Creek Eye care and asked if they could see me and my bent sunglasses. They said to come on in and let's see what they could do. The receptionist was very courteous and said she would make the Optician aware of my issue. Within a short period of time I was greeted by Alexa with a smile and her promise that she would repair my sunglasses. No more than 5 minutes went by and she reappeared with my favorite Ray Bans and asked me to try them on. They were better than new! They fit me perfectly and I was super impressed with her customer service and expertise. There was NO cost for this service. I cannot remember the last time I received service without a charge. I highly recommend Queen Creek Eye care and I will be a lifetime customer. John K

My husband needed to get glasses and so we came in yesterday around 2:30 PM. There was a man sitting at his desk (literally right when you walk in) bent down rubbing his leg and looked like he was in absolute agony! My husband told him what he was looking for and this man made no effort to communicate or attempt to help us as again he really looked like he was struggling & should have not been in any shape to come to work. As we were looking around there was just one other staff member at her desk (Michelle) already helping another customer. We browsed at frames and I told my husband I was extremely uncomfortable with this man as by this point he was literally laying his head down on the table (see video). It was a shame and sad, but also unprofessional and very concerning! There were a few employees in the back office area so I approached them with our concerns & they said they had gotten numerous complaints already? What? Why didn't he get sent home and how many customers walked out?! We asked if someone else could assist us and Michelle was just finishing up, so she was able to get everything we needed and her customer service was excellent! She saved the day for this review! Michelle was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and kind. She helped get my husband exactly what he needed and gave additional advice for his eyewear. To the management staff. You should not have an employee come in, work, be at his desk in misery! This isn't a good look for your business, how can you even have someone come in to work that can't even function? Advise- this man should get the help he needs and return when he is healthy or go on disability pay until he is stable enough to come back to work.
