Went in yesterday for new glasses. The two girls working there could not be bothered to get up. When I asked for help they said pick out your frame and we'll order them. Excuse me? What kind of optician doesn't even help the customer pick out frames. Their frame prices are outrageous, they certainly won't be selling any glasses without any customer service! Needless to say, we walked out without buying anything. Really, I'd give them no stars but yelp won't let me leave a review with zero stars. If you want zero customer service and to pay outrageous prices for glasses, then Pearle vision is the place for you. read more

Great experience. The only complaint is the smell, it's almost as if the chemicals from the nail salon are leaking through and remanence of an 80's perm stench. It's really bad and upsetting to the stomach. Unfortunate, because the Dr and the glasses salesperson were delightful. read more

I have learned over the years to not only go to Pearl Vision for all my glasses but to go to this location if i want great service. Im the kind of person who sees a pair of glasses worn by someone well known, finds out the info and wants them. Ive gone to other competitors and they just wouldnt help me, they wont go beyond their stock. But this Pearl Vision has... 2 times! one a few years ago and one just a few months ago, both high end glasses. (At one point we were going off pictures to make sure they were the correct glasses) They found a way to order new glasses that just hit the market that week with the following spring clothing lines. and were already selling out! ( I sound like I do this all the time I don't, but when I'm wearing the glasses constantly here in Arizona and they are sunglasses you know I need good quality) My insurance coverage was being renewed a few months later and i picked out another pair of reading glasses and they ended up putting it in my profile so when I came back again, I didn't have to go through trying to figure out what they were. They had it right there and they could order it immediately. What can I say? Ive worked retail management for 20+ years so I know customer service really well and I've never had an issue. Everybody always smiles when I come in and they recognize me and make sure I'm happy with my glasses that I bought. they also let me know if I need them adjusted or looked at. I can always come back and they will do that for me.(They have even taken my daughters glasses and offered to adjust them for her and she didnt even get them there) i will never go anywhere else. read more

This was my first visit here and this place was... weird? Awkward? I'll clarify. The optometrist kept pushing for a dilating exam and other tests, even though I had clearly said no on their online form. She sort of shoved off my response in a way that felt like she was offensively telling me that "she knows best". Granted to a degree she does because she is an eye doctor, but I can't afford it so no thanks. No means no. The desk clerk, who was also the pretest person, was bad at giving instructions and it made me feel like the testing was purposely skewed so that they could have a case for "look, your eye got worse, buy all of these exams". She didn't seem to enjoy her job much so the experience wasn't very comforting. The glasses salesperson was a bit chatty akin to a sleazy car saleswomen. When we tried asking her for prices of glasses, she didn't answer and gave us a general "it should cover most glasses for (brand)". That was extremely discomforting since I only wanted to get glasses that my insurance would cover. read more

Service is terrible. Every time I have ordered glasses, I never get a call or text to pick them up. And yes, I have verified the phone number they have for me. Also, they have inconvenient days off. Who is closed on a Friday??? Just not my preference. I will not be going back. read more

I may have that wrong, however she was very professional, accommodating, generous, kind, and communicative during the process of getting my prescription glasses order filled, and making sure she did everything in her power to keep me current during my orders status, and delivered excellent customer service; beyond what I could have expected especially while mother nature ran its course and took down most small business owners as well as franchisee owners as well. Went last year and my daughter and I both had good experiences. Today there is all new and not very nice staff. My daughter had an "exam" today. Requested her eyes be dilated, they told me they weren't doing that now. Had I been told we would have gone elsewhere. Then the tech scared my daughter telling her there was something suspicious on the back of her eye that needed medical attention. Had she read the medical questionnaire I filled out she would have had the explanation and maybe could have told us they weren't doing dilations. 2 stars only because we were only there for 40 minutes. read more

I have gone here multiple times and have been unimpressed every single time. The staff is unprofessional, has horrible communication and are never on the same page. They are constantly running behind 40 minutes; even when I booked the first appointment (for this reason) they managed to be 15 minutes late. The selection of glasses is subpar. Great place to get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses or two! Dr. Vega was very nice and thorough as was the entire staff on duty at Pearle Vision today. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 a this morning and I was out the door by 10:15. Very efficient !! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I purchased two pairs of glasses at a great price! I never leave reviews on anything but my experience with this place has been terrible all around. I waited an hour after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Got yelled at by the doctor for saying I was going to get my contacts from a different website that was more convenient for me. The appointment itself took forever which was irritating considering I had waited so long to be seen. I ended up getting contacts from them because my insurance covered it. Now, months later I call to get my prescription (because I found a pair of glasses I want) and it looks like they don't have my file and can't find prescription. Mind you I paid for this exam and now I have to pay for another to get my prescription. They offered to make me another appointment but I will never be returning to this place. They need a serious change if they want to be successful. read more

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! Spent close to 4 hours there and waited almost an hour after appt time. Went to Costco to compare prices and they are 1/4 of the price this shit hole is wanting to charge. Got a call my contacts were ready to pick up and come to find out they weren't and drove there for no reason. DO NOT COME HERE. Eye doctor was nice but all other workers were not and unprofessional. Lady told us that since we had 2 insurances that we were wanting to make her job more difficult. Trust me and go to Costco or elsewhere. read more

First off they don't accept all insurances that the website says they do. So I had to pay full price for suns exam. Next don't even look at the office hours because they aren't true. Once I pick up my sons contacts when it says they open at 10 and no one was in the office waiting until 1030 still no one in the office. I have been coming here for two years now and after a bad experience the first time, I gave it another shot. I had my appointment in January and now we are in March and I still don't have the glasses that I purchased. On top of that, I order lenses for my old frames. They still couldn't get my prescription right. Paid over $300 plus insurance and I have been given the run around and still waiting. Last year at least they compensated me for the bad experience and all my waisted time. I don't think I will be going back after this. So disappointed. read more

This is by far the best place to buy glasses. Rose is a rockstar and takes great care of her patients. My order had numerous issues with the lab and she took complete ownership of the situation and did everything in her power to make it right. I made an appointment to weeks ago for my son to have an eye exam. We arrived for his 520 appointment early and they informed us that they were behind. I asked for a contact lens evaluation but gave me a frame eye exam ending being charged extra using my insurance. I normally no out of pocket expenses using my insurance but somehow here I ended up paying extra $ for an inflated eye exam and unnecessary charges. read more

I will NEVER get glasses there again, nor recommend any one else to. When ordering my new glasses, I was told I had to pay at least 1/2 before they would order. I did that. When my glasses came in, I was expecting to pay the other half, but now there was an extra $78.97 due! When I disagreed with the girl, she said "well if you can show me a receipt of the balance due from us, I can go with that". Well, I believe she knew they only gave the customers a receipt for what they paid, and not balance due, because that was all they have me. When I came back 2 days later with my receipts, I asked the girl, "if I were to buy glasses here, how much would I need to put down before you order them?" Her answer was " one half". When I told her what had happened 2 days earlier, the only explanation she could give me was that mine must have been a special case. RIGHT!! Bottom line I got screwed. read more
