I've been to multiple America's Best locations around Phoenix, and while I like their frames and prices the stores I have been to were all crazy busy and crowded. The wife and I walked into this one on a Saturday afternoon and it was deserted except for multiple employees who were all friendly. The store was organized and clean. They were able set up an appointment for my wife to get an eye exam within a few day as well. For a less hectic visit this is your store. read more

Every part of my experience here was great. They were quick and efficient without making me feel rushed at all. I forgot the name of the two gentlemen who did the eye exam part but they were friendly and thorough while making it an almost fun experience. They also pointed out everything they were seeing and explaining things even if it was beyond my comprehension, and even then they would simplify it for me. Denise helped me pick out frames and she was absolutely wonderful. I don't have the best idea of what looks good or not when it comes to style, but after she helped me try out a bunch of frames I felt confident she helped me find the ones that would look the best and work for me. She also didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need, and made sure I only got the upgrades that I needed. Overall 10/10 experience from every employee there. read more

The Dr is great, the person who did the first part of my testing amazing. Mykala, terrible and repetitive, definitely should be more pro active in providing customers what they need rather then saying they should have to know to ask, in this case I had my mom pick up tester contacts, they did NOT offer her solution or a case so I could actually use the tester contacts apparently it's the patients responsibility to do that and obsoletely under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would they ever offer that to a patient (which I know is a lie my aunt goes to the one on Power and they asked her if she needed it) even when it's clear that it's a test pair of contacts and in their file that I haven't worn contacts for years. She repeated that 4 times. This is all after they didn't even bother to call me to tell me my contacts were there to pick up in the first place but Mykala was completely unconcerned about that as well apparently patients are also supposed to be psychic or know to call every day to find out if their contacts are there. read more

Each time my family has come here, there has been this old crotchety lady who is always in a bad mood. Recently, we came to pick up our glasses and she touched my daughter's face to try and adjust the glasses. My daughter moved away because she didn't feel comfortable that the lady was no longer touching the glasses. The old lady snapped at her and gave her attitude rather than apologizing or treating the situation in a professional way. Because of her tacky and rude behavior, my daughter chose not to have her glasses adjusted. We will not be coming back because this isn't the first time this old lady has back-sassed customers. read more

After visiting the Queen Creek office this morning for an emergency situation (my daughter broke my glasses that I need to drive and basically do anything) I asked for any options, asked if they could sell me frames that would fit or get me in ASAP to help get new ones in sooner. I was basically told no for anything that could help me at all today (I believe the lady who helped me was named Barbra) not even an appointment till tomorrow. When I asked if there was another location that had an appointment they said no. I reluctantly made an appointment with the queen creek office but I decided to call this location out of desperation. Not only was I told they COULD get me in they even got me in an hour early when I misread the time and got to their office too early. They were all 100x more understanding and friendly compared to the queen creek office. They got my exam done within 20 minutes, helped me pick some frames that would look cute and when I told them I can't drive or even really work without my glasses and asked if there was really anything they could do. They then searched and searched till they found one last pair of my now discontinued frames to get my old lenses into so I could drive and work till my new pairs arrived!!!! I was so beyond relieved!!! Not only did they go beyond to help me last minute but the price for 2 pairs (glasses and lenses) and a frame for my old pair of lenses were amazing! I love this office already so much! I walked into the QC location and felt like a burden but not this office! The Apache Junction office is so welcoming, friendly and understanding. So so glad I decided to call them even though I was told no other locations could help me. I live 5 minutes from the QC office but I will be driving the 30 minutes from now on to the AJ location for sure worth the drive. read more

I went in to the doctor's office for an eye exam on 11-17-21. All was well till I got my glasses back. The office personnel told me they would call me when the glasses were in. I receive no such call. I thought okay, I will call them. The person that answered the phone on 12-6-21 was bothered by my request to check and see if they were in. She was rude and stated that they take at least two weeks. I gave her my exam date, she went to find out if they were in. They were in the store. I went down to pick them up and they were busy and short staffed. The rude receptionist got my glasses. I was not asked to sit down for a fitting. I sat down anyway but the receptionist would not communicate to me or anyone else, all she would do is shrugg her shoulders. So I tried the glasses on. The lenses were so off that I could not see through them. I told the receptionist this news and she just shrugged her shoulders. Since I could not get any hope of assistance or even waiting for assistance, I took the glasses and came back the following Monday. I worked with a gal named Misty and she put the glasses under what looked like a microscope. She stated the lenses were not correct and that it would be another two weeks without glasses. I waited. On Monday, Dec. 20th, I went in for a fitting thinking that I was going to request a fitting this time....yes I had to request a fitting, The office is constantly understaffed and they are hard to work with as they are tired and rude. I tried the glasses on and they were slightly different but I still could not see through them. It looked like I was looking through the bottom of a coke bottle. This Misty woman was rude, did not bother to check them under the microscope and stated that the lab had "done their job." I stated that I still could not see through them. I she rudely gave me a choice of starting over with another exam (same doctor) or a refund. I requested a refund. At first she tried to give me only 1/2 of my share that I paid from my insurance policy. I finally got the correct refund. I asked if my insurance company would be okay for the next provider. She rudely stated that there would be no problem with my insurance company for another provider. This information was not correct as now I have to call my insurance company and wait till next week to get into another provider because my insurance company had already paid the claim. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE ON POWER ROAD UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND BEING ABUSED BY THE OVERWORKED STAFF AND THEIR INCOMPETENCE. I HAVE GONE 5 WEEKS WITHOUT GLASSES AND NOW MORE TIME WITHOUT GLASSES AS I HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER PROVIDER. BEWARE. UP DATE: I looked on the BBB. America's best if not a member and their grade is a D-. That teaches me to look them up on the BBB. read more

I had a contact emergency and called numerous vision centers of course all booked up at pretty much every one I called. As luck has it America's best answered the call and were able to get me in the very next day! I was treated so very very well I couldn't believe how amazing the staff was. Each person there was so friendly and helpful. I almost left feeling as though had some made some new friend. I have never left a review before but I really wanted to say thank you to the staff for not only doing a great job but for putting a smile on my face for the rest of the day!! I only wish more people understood how far kindness can go. I was amazed at the work the girls put into making sure I got the the right glasses for an amazing price as well. And the doctor was just as amazing I was able to leave with an emergency pair of contacts as well to get me through until my order can get here. Once again thank you all!! read more
