Thank you! *** I went to Visionworks for my yearly eye appointment and ended up having a very frustrating experience. During my appointment, no one reviewed my prescription with me or explained the lens options. I specifically mentioned that I wanted progressive lenses, and since the price point we were given seemed affordable, I decided to purchase two pairs of glasses--one regular pair and one pair of sunglasses. About a week to a week and a half later, the glasses came in, but they were made with the wrong prescription. They were single-vision lenses, not progressive lenses like I had requested. The woman who originally helped us never went over the prescription details or explained the difference between the options, which could have prevented this entire situation. When we went back to pick them up, the gentleman working that evening was very helpful. It was the end of the day and he was closing, but he stayed to make sure we were taken care of and apologized for the mistake. I truly appreciated his effort. However, the solution required another $140 out of pocket to correct the lenses. If I had known the true cost with insurance for progressive lenses, I never would have purchased two pairs in the first place. At this point, I've spent over $450 and still cannot see properly because I've have to now wait another 1-2 weeks for the corrected glasses. This entire situation could have been avoided if someone had simply reviewed the prescription and lens options with me before placing the order. If there are prescriptions for both single-vision and progressive lenses, that absolutely should be discussed with the customer. Unfortunately, because of the poor communication and the fact that we had to pay extra to fix someone else's mistake, we will not be returning to this or any Visionworks location.

I began to notice people who had come in after me going back to be examined, picked out glasses and left. One unhappy customer came in, argued and left. Two hours later someone came over and asked me if I had been seen yet. I told them I had but was waiting to see the Dr. Since I really didn't have much to do that day and understand that some days things just happen, I wasn't concerned. At 4:30 I got my exam and got my frames. Over $1000.00 later, and the last customer in the office, I left. They told me my glasses would be ready in 1 week to 10 days. Two weeks later, no glasses. My husband called to inquire about my glasses and they told them they forgot to order them! Ok, so what are you going to do? Please order them. I'm a pretty passive person. Today is May 26th, and I have no glasses. I think my patience has run out. I got my first pair of glasses here about 8 yrs ago and a couple pairs since then. Since that time their selection has gone down hill (the girl with the exceptional taste in frames has left) and their service has gone to hell! If this was my business I would be seriously concerned. My daughter and I walked in and were not acknowledged at all until another customer came in several minutes later. After my daughter selected her glasses, we sat down and waited for assistance while there were three staff members on the floor, with only one actively helping a patient at the time. Despite us waiting over 20 minutes, no one came to acknowledge us, check on us, or offer assistance. Instead, the male employee began helping another female employee with her patient while a third staff member remained sitting at the computer. Another customer then finished browsing glasses and was immediately acknowledged and helped, even though my daughter and I had been waiting much longer. At that point, I asked for my daughter's prescription so we could leave. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the excessive wait, and no concern shown whatsoever. The experience made us feel completely overlooked and honestly felt intentional. Again, the doctor was great, but the lack of professionalism and customer service from the floor staff completely ruined the experience.

I was very pleased with the customer service and friendly demeanor. Last week I had my favorite pair of Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses that I had left on my armrest in my car. Unfortunately, the next time I entered my car, I sat quickly on my seat while leveraging my right arm on the armrest. That was the moment I bent the frame of the sunglasses! I tried re-bending the frame and I made it worse. I decided to contact Queen Creek Eye care and asked if they could see me and my bent sunglasses. They said to come on in and let's see what they could do. The receptionist was very courteous and said she would make the Optician aware of my issue. Within a short period of time I was greeted by Alexa with a smile and her promise that she would repair my sunglasses. No more than 5 minutes went by and she reappeared with my favorite Ray Bans and asked me to try them on. They were better than new! They fit me perfectly and I was super impressed with her customer service and expertise. There was NO cost for this service. I cannot remember the last time I received service without a charge. We showed up an hour before they closed. Julia helped us and didn't seem annoyed at all. We had his prescription, info on the last frames he had purchased and a picture of him. (He wasn't with us as he hadn't gotten home from the lake yet). While the frames we picked weren't exactly what he had, she worked to find ones that were similar shape, right size and in stock so she could have ready for us the next day by 12:00pm. Wow! I went in last night to get some nose pads for my mom's glasses. My mom has done medical issues…read moreand was in the hospital when I noticed her glasses were missing the nose pads. I can in just after 6 pm just as they were closing. I have never been there before but she not only installed the nose pads but adjusted the frames straight and tightened down the screws cleaned them and put them in a clear plastic case to protect them. She also offered to make additional adjustments if I brought my mom in to make sure they fit correctly on her.
