I cannot say enough good things about Walt's Body & Paint. I brought a car. I've loved for 21-years, that had so much road rash chips and dents on the hood from Arizona's rocky desert roads; and the bumper was just a disaster. Peppered way beyond regular paint correction. Walt gave me a fair estimate upfront, quoted me the time, and stuck to it; during the process came back and offered a few optional treatments/fixes as they discovered them, with reasonable costs as well, which I took him up on, such as a full PPF coding of the hood and the bumper, as well as replacing some of the parts such as the emblem and the Grill, all of his updates were reasonable, his costs on target. With the final product I don't think I could be happier. I love how it looks. It is flawless. Luckily the fenders and the rest of the body only had a few minor dents his team easily repaired, but they didn't need the repainting and resurfacing that the hood and the bumper needed. Walt I am Not happy with our conversation 2 day about my 2023 Z06. You said when I picked up my car when it was repaired, I was your best customer with the most expensive bill. You had my car 4 about 5 weeks and told me you are a perfectionist How could you NOT see all the Red warning lights that Blanked on the digital dash. You even test drove the car and drove it back and forth 2 put the wrong tire on it, how could you NOT see all those 2 red-warning Lites when you spent so much time in the car. A perfectionist would have seen red Flashing Lites . They did not do work on my car, but they were worth mentioning because I stopped by with my 1999 Acura that is smashed. Most places won't even work on a 1999 car due to parts and they were busy too, but the owner whose name escapes me clearly stopped what he was doing and made time to give me a kind recommendation. To get rid of the car that there were no parts and even if I could find them, they would be so expensive. I was looking at five or $6000 so if I never needed bodywork, I definitely would go see them. I wrecked my motorcycle on 8/4/2016. I called Walt's because they came highly recommended and Walt, himself, told me that the bike could be repaired in 3 weeks. I called a couple more times and spoke to Walt and asked several times how long to repair it. Every time, he stated 3 weeks. Now, it's 9/26/2016 and I am still waiting for that 3 weeks for them to finish. Took them over 1 month to get paint. (Around 9-10-2016) they said paint had arrived. So much bull in dealing with this place. I am so beyond dissatisfied with their service, lack of integrity, and garbage. Last Friday (9/16/2016), I took the day off to see where my bike is in the process and they hadn't even sprayed a drop of paint on it. So I called my insurance company to complain about the lack of urgency that this shop demonstrates once they have the funds in hand. Walt stated that the bike would be finished Wednesday (9-21-2016) to my insurance company. The following Monday (9-19-2016), they called me back and said that the original paint was faded and that they would paint the rest of the bike to match. I asked how long would they need the bike, they said it would be ready for pick up on Monday. (9-26-2016). So I have arranged to take time off my work once again, to go see about my motorcycle, at which point Walt, stated that they're painting it. 3 weeks turns into 7. No integrity. Lies and bull is all you will receive and unfulfilled promises are what to expect. I have heard his quality is good... but this is seriously no way to treat someone who has $7000+ in damages and needs their daily driver back. So disgusted and disappointed. They have their money, so who gives a damn about the customer, right. "A man without his word, isn't a man" is what my grandfather used to say.... I clearly see what he meant by that. No trust. No respect. He is still in possession of my motorcycle and has been screwing me over every week, every step of the way. The paint is nice, the repairs so far are nice... but this is too much bull to deal with. Very discourteous and discomforting to know someone who makes this his career path doesn't give two craps about the customer. read more

Walt has done work on my 2005 Mazda 6 on several occasions and each time his work has been great and reasonably priced. At my most recent experience I asked Walt to check some work the local Mazda dealer had done and to do some repairs they had failed to perform. Walt had the chance to push the dealer under the bus, but he didn't. He was honest (even complimentary) about the work they had done. That says a lot about his character and the way he does business. AJ might seem out of the way, but if you need body work done Walt's is the place. read more

After going through a local car wash, one of the roof rails came loose on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson, so I took it back to Horne Hyundai and they took one look and said it wouldn't be covered under their "warranty". So I took it to Walt's Body shop and he came out in the 103 degree heat and took a look. It seems that it had never been bolted down at the factory, 4 nuts and just a couple of minutes it was installed back correctly. I probably could have gone back to Horne Hyundai and had it done with no charge, but opted not to. Kudos to an honest repair shop. read more

We drove through some wet paint on the road. As snowbirds I was unsure here to take it. After reading some yelp reviews I drove over to Walts. They were friendly helpful and jumped right on it. They gave us a loaner vehicle and spent all day removing paint and detailing the car. All said and done, it looked brand new and the price was right. Walt's Body & Paint not only repairs body and paint damage, they are also an excellent mechanical repair shop. I have been taking my truck into Walt's for regular service maintenance and other mechanical issues for a year now. Recently I took my truck into Walt's shop, I asked him to change my oil and do a all over check of all fluids, brakes and tires. I had was heading out of town on a road trip by my self and didn't want to have and mechanical problems. Walt and his team went above and beyond what I had asked.
