Updating my review from 5 stars to ALL THE STARS! I've been to so many shows here now and I truly love coming to Walter Where?House. The valley is very fortunate to have such a legit place for the EDM scene to thrive. It is, hands down, my favorite place in the valley to dance. All the elements are locked in here. Why, because the Walter group knows what's up. This Burning Man camp turned local Phx business, or other way around, I'm not sure, but nonetheless, does things right. The space itself is well organized-- the art gallery is when you first walk in, art cars & other art installations or artwork are spread throughout the warehouse. There are areas for hanging out and seating spread around and I've experienced many excellent viewpoints of the stage. The sound system is so nice with bumping bass for the amazing DJs that come through, and the lasers & lights make me happy. They have reasonable priced bar & food options, and they provide igloo coolers of cold water for free, available off the side of the bar. Which doesn't seem like a big deal but making sure people are drinking water is important when dancing all night. The venue cares about people who come there. There's a patio out back when you need to take a breather. Plenty of restrooms and they usually have AC & fans blasting when it's busy and/ or hot in there. It's a safe place to dance with respectful people who come here-- there to enjoy the art & vibes, have a great time dancing or enjoying the flow arts with fantastic DJs. Went for a Nightmare on Strip Street, show was great but it was insanely hot inside. The temp was between 95-100 degrees for the duration of the show. There was no Communication via website or when you are emailed your tickets warning of the heat. Saw several groups leave the event early. read more

This is the coolest and most unique music venue I've ever been to! There's a ton of local artwork, art installations, and different spots to sit or watch the show. I came on a Wednesday night to see mindchatter and it was a really fun show with great sound and lasers. The dance floor is large and there's plenty of room to move around. Service was quick for getting drinks and they have food too, though I didn't get any this visit. I can't wait to come back here for more shows! They are closed during the summers though. read more

Think indoor Burning Man. It's a music venue and they have art installations throughout, some interactive, some not. Vehicles you can climb in and on, spaces with creative seating to relax, and just have a fun time. We came for Flight Facilities ($25). Tickets said 9pm but they didn't go on until midnight. Drinks were priced alright ($13) and were good, the nachos we had with chicken and potatoes was delicious but a small portion ($15). I would like it more if it was just open free as an art space to hang with friends for drinks, like it's sister space Walter Studios. Other people we talked to mentioned they wished the same. It got packed with the show going on. Most seating became taken. They have a parking lot North of them if you come early (it gets full). Otherwise, you'll have to park on 21st Ave. Dress up! I was, and staff treated me with extra prizes and remembered us wherever we went. read more

Walter where?house is more than just an amazing place to see and feel music and art, it's a special, sacred space that has been magically designed to create a beautiful community for artists and musicians to thrive and also a super safe place to enjoy music and art! There are at least 8 art cars inside the Walter where?house that you can climb aboard and dance the night away on. It's a burning man principle ran facility that incorporates the magic of burning man into a safe space for the whole world to enjoy. The owners Kirk and Mary have a true passion and mission to help artists and the community around them to grow and Walter where?house is the space they have created to bring it all together! The tickets are always affordable, the drinks are delicious and also affordable and the vibezzzz are always positive and friendly. There's a true sense of love and community inside these walls! There's an art gallery when you first walk in displaying local artists and their beautiful work there's lots of art cars inside. The main stage is set in front of kalliope art car! But the main art car that is the heart and soul of Walter is WALTER! Walter is an iconic Burning Man art car created by Walter Productions, known for its luminous appearance, massive size, and interactive features. It's a giant Volkswagen Bus built on the frame of a vintage Walter fire truck, featuring thousands of LEDs, a powerful sound system, and a misting system. Walter is a central part of the Walter Productions community, which also includes other art cars, a makerspace, and a gallery. Walter has a story to inspire everyone that sees him. He was a vintage Walter fire truck that Kirk and Mary found and saw that it was not the end of his Walter fire truck days but the beginning of him to shed his old shell and emerge from his old title and grow into something bigger and better to continue to help the world around him. Which is a beautiful message we all should remember when we feel like we are run down there's always room to rise from the ashes and rebuild bigger, stronger, and more beautiful than before and continue to remind and help others around to do the same. All of the art cars here hold a very special message that is created to inspire and remind everyone the beauty of perseverance and to always believe in yourself and to create something better for the future and the world around you! Christina M invited me to Water Where?House and it has been on my list for awhile to check it out. So when she asked, I was like cool, I am down. Maria A was also a willing partner in crime and was great to catch up with her. Even Derek made a cameo appearance! I definitely love art cars, cool art and chill beats and this place hit the spot. I had a great time here and the place wasn't crowded at all, very spacious, lots of room to roam around, dance, and hang out. The cocktails were pretty good and there is a food truck out back if you get hungry. Will definitely be back to see more shows and hang out! read more

Super cool space! Visited for a 360 set (Glitch Mob), and was extremely surprised by the combination of art and atmosphere this place brought. Very spacious, with areas to relax and sit, both enclosed/open and near/away from the music. They don't oversell tickets, which is greatly appreciated, so as to better enjoy the space without feeling overcrowded. Elevated balcony area behind the stage you can ascend to get a view of the artist from behind. They also had a dancer who occasionally performed in front of the stage, which was a cool touch. Some people who brought their own dance accessories (light poi, hoops, etc), so it's the perfect place to practice or show off your skills! I will say the crowd will likely reflect the artist playing (Glitch Mob was pretty tame), but for a more bass-heavy artist, I'd expect the crowd to reflect that energy. Fairly priced drinks ($8 and under for cans or beers on tap from local breweries), and ~$13 for cocktails. Variety of snacks (tacos, nachos, elote, cookies, chips, etc.) on the outdoor patio for purchase. Plenty of bathroom stalls (at least for the ladies). Giant cornhole, a mini art gallery once entering, and art pieces throughout the space. Parking is dispersed along the street - seemed a bit sketchy at first, but just stay vigilant. They have non-musical events as well (rollerskating, yoga last Sunday of the month) as advertised on their Instagram (@walterwherehouse). Would love to see the lighting/visuals improve, as that would push this venue to be 5-stars. Overall, great venue and hope to be back for an artist I want to see! read more

Best Music/EDM Venue is arizona without a doubt, big warehouse with plenty of eye candy and places to sit down and relax.

One bar for a sold out show is criminal. Never had to wait this long in line for a drink at a show. The festival touches throughout the venue were cool, but more focus should go on the bar situation and overall guest experience. The sound system is not good, and it was noticeable. read more

We happened to be in the Phoenix area for a bachelorette party on the weekend of the 2023 season closing party at Walter Where?House and we are so incredibly happy that we decided to check it out - it ended up being the highlight of the trip! The venue itself is huge. When you walk in you're greeted with an art gallery. There was a combination of framed art and larger installations scattered around the perimeter of the building. Once you venture through the gallery area, it opens up to the dancefloor, bar, and stage. Drinks at the bar were good and reasonably priced, and there were non alcoholic options available too. Water was free. The sound quality was solid considering the size of the space, but I would definitely recommend earplugs. We will 1000% come back the next time we're in the area and there's a show going on! read more

My yelp buddy invited me to a concert, I honestly hadn't heard about the artist or this location prior to going I really had a great time at the concert. I got to catch up with my friend, we both looked at cool art, some interesting and others weird, but hey that's art for you. I also loved how Walter's Where?House had like rest stations in the building. People could hand in the areas, talk, listen to music, have some cocktails and enjoy themselves. Their bartenders make a mean spicy margarita! Honestly so damn good! They also had a taco truck in the back with tons of seats. I had 3 tacos, they were good. Well I think they were good, but you know food tastes good when you are a little tipsy. read more

Walter's is such a blast. If you're in need of a fun night out, Walter can provide. The Where?House is full of distractions to talk about and vibe to. There's an art gallery, a fun house, giant couches, a couple of art cars from Burning Man you can climb on, and plenty of opportunities to sit down if you need it. The music here can range from dubstep EDM or house, to vintage disco hits depending on the occasion. Look on their website for details on the upcoming parties they are throwing. Also be aware, they don't operate in the summer so you'll need find somewhere else to throw down between May and September. There's also a lot of bathrooms, and outdoor area to smoke, a massive bar, and plenty of room to dance. No matter what type of event is being thrown here, I know you'll have a blast! read more

Vibes Vibes Vibes! Fantastic venue with interactive art installations such as a giant Volkswagen bus and a light up tunnel. They have plenty of art pieces to check out and some bumpin' music! You can also get a bird's eye view of the crowd on top of the main stage. went for the season opening this year and the artist was VNSSA. Had a fantastic time at this unique venue and would highly recommend. The ambassadors, paid employees that dance and do other performances make this place a blast! It's also worth checking out Walter Studios, another fun venue run by the same owners. read more

If you like house music, this place is for you. I've seen many acts here and even though some of the acts have a more broad array of musical styles like tech house or playa-tech, the DJ's seem to gravitate towards pure house music when they play at Walter. Besides the music, everything is pretty well. Dialed in here: the bartenders are great, the food trucks on rotation are always interesting and tasty, the art also rotates and is always worth spending some time in their gallery, and the oversized mutant vehicles are inviting. The lighting is good and the sound is well balanced. If Walter has a DJ for an act that you like, I recommend getting an early ticket as they're discounted pretty steeply, sometimes you can get a $15 one. One funny thing that a friend of mine said to me about space and the patrons is " everyone's really nice here!" read more

I've been 3 times to the Where House?. I enjoyed myself every time. It's a wonderful atmosphere with an inspiring edgy art exhibit just inside the entrance that puts you in the right state of mind to dance the night away. The Dance floor is huge with plenty of room to hang back if you like a more roomy experience. There are small rooms you can chill in and chat with your friends or maybe make a new one. Each one is decorated differently. There's plenty of space and seating in different areas all around just to hang out if that's your thing. Pretty cool art figures and Huge Cars that you can hang in surround the dance floor. Most importantly is the music is happening. I close my eyes and dance freely for hours till I can no longer move my legs. Yeah it's that much fun. There is a little food stand in the back that has outdoor seating if you want to put something solid in you before you drive home. The drinks are priced pretty reasonable for a club. They should be since you're paying 30-40 bucks to get in depending on the DJ. The staff I've had great experiences almost every time I have engaged with them.. they have staff walking around striking conversations and doing some cool talented stuff to keep you entertained. Sometimes it's almost like a trippy circus. It's very safe there are staff with headsets communicating making sure the Testosterone stays in check. I cannot give "infinity stars", so 5 will need to suffice! During our annual. International trade association meetings I like to host a fun party for all. We love interesting, unique, out of the norm venues and experiences. The Walter?Wherehouse on the surface seemed to fit the Bill perfectly. From my first discussion with Jeremy to the actual event, their entire team exceeded any expectations a reasonable person would expect. Being unreasonable at times, even I was blown away!! Not only the most unique venue ever created, but their ambassadors and every worker were so incredibly polite,fun, and dedicated to making our event perfectly memorable and likely hard to ever repeat. I have my work cut out for me before next year's meetings. Special cred to Jeremy, Momo, Elvis and every single ambassador (so Many I can't recall all the names), bar help and producer involved. Y'all were amazing. This is a place that is built for over the top excitement and full immersion engaging fun. The mix of unique art, tremendous ambiance and an atmosphere of peace, love, respect and community is perfect for any diverse group function or team building celebration. Walter Where?House is truly my favorite club so far. And I am not only talking about cool decorations and beautiful art, there was something way more important for us as female couple, - safety. Highly professional, super respectful, and friendly staff, who is really watching out and doing a great job. First time in several years we felt 100% safe and relaxed in the club scene. Kate, Jules, and their team were simply magical when it came to helping us define a vision for our company holiday party, as well as executing on all of the details. I've been hosting company parties for about 15 years now and this experience was the most fun and stress-free I've ever had! Hands down!!! Any time I checked in for updates the team was amazingly responsive, they were flexible with all of our requests and limited resources, but most of all my team had a stupendous experience. At first glance inside, you really can see it for the exceptional 'blank canvas' that it is- yes, Walter is hanging out in there- but with the events team there, I definitely see the potential for NUMEROUS styles of events coming to life! There's so much versatile and usable space including private pockets of seating to hang out in, a great outside space, plenty of usable parking lot, a beautiful prep kitchen, & renovated, up-to-date bathrooms to accommodate the large crowds this venue will undoubtedly attract.
