I actually stumbled upon this shop unintentionally wanting to get serviced right next door (imagine the embarassment on my face when I asked to use the yelp coupon they offered). I had several old cars that needed smogged, so basically I check in at this place once a year and I had been coming here for years. Now, it is under new ownership and management. I was sad to find out the previous owner had a heart attack and is no longer with us, RIP... he was a good guy, hard worker, quiet, yet friendly. Basel, the person that now runs the place, was a friend of the old owner. He was asked by the old owner's family to take over, and he stepped up. I met Basel early Saturday morning and we chatted a bit since there were no other customers at the time. Besides knowing about the previous owner's passing, he also taught me a few things about smog check and catalytic converters. Basel seemed very knowledgeable and capable. I am glad to see the future of this place is in good hands. Basel even remodeled the place and it looked pristine! Such great efficiency. There were several cars when I arrived. Took my paperwork to the office, and the service technician immediately took my paperwork and keys and placed them in a folder on the desk. Each vehicle had a separate folder and each vehicle was handled in the order of arrival. Technician was only employee doing paperwork and testing. I was so amazed and impressed by his quick and efficient manner. I was there a little over 35 minutes. He handled about 6 cars in that time.
