Anyway, this place is the most convenient location to get a quick smog certificate. I've been here when it's crowded, and they are still fairly quick getting you serviced. But I still totally recommend coming in early. There are usually 1, maybe 2 people working but again, fast service. I got in today at 0804 and was driving home by 0824. Also the pricing is good. They have the Smog check deal for $46.75 +$8.25 State Certification (Total $55) by checking in on Yelp. The price was very reasonable. You can pay by Cash or Credit card (I used Apple Pay). My car was done in about 15 minutes and he gave me a copy of the Smog Check Inspection Report and the certificate has been electronically transmitted to DMV. It was fast and service was friendly. This is a tough review for me, because I really appreciate and enjoy the family dynamic of this business, yes they do have excellent service, but this feeling in my soul won't let me keep this in. Ok this time upon taking my car to get a smog for the return free service everything went well, except when I left I forgot my original DMV registration that I know I put on the counter along with the receipt of my first payment. When I went back to ask them about my original DMV print out, the wife went behind the service desk to ask who I assume is her husband the technician. They pull out what might appeard to be my original DMV document, exchange a few words and then proceeds to come back in from behind the glass and say nope, haven't seen it, but you can pay the 39.99 here to get your tags and everything in one stop. Instead of asking to view the document they pulled out of the drawer, I assessed the situation, feeling in my gut that that was my document, but instead I let it go. Paid for everything there and told them to have a nice day. They probably took me for the 39 bucks, but I just chalked it up to the game of life, I really really liked that establishment because it was a good vibe and friendly energy, but sadly I won't be returning because of that, however I encourage others to still go there because it is a good quick fast service, but once I get a shady feeling about something I can't return. I'd still say I had a good experience and they did well within the timeframe. However, I did notice later that day my window locks were no longer working and upon inspection, I saw the covers no longer stuck on near each door handle. I Yelped for a smog test, being new to the area. Piedra's had a Yelp special and I was able to made a same day appointment. Service was easy peasy -- quick! Arriving I wasn't sure where to park and left the car near the building. Upon walking in, the attendant got my information and my key and told me to have a seat. I opened my computer to do some work.
