For the past two years, since our Smog Check guy, Chae, passed away unexpectedly, I had been wondering what I was going to do when it came time to get our cars smogged. Fortunately this afternoon, I stumbled upon Piedra's Smog Check Only in a Google search. It was so fast, and so painlessly easy, that I didn't have time to finish the computer work that I brought with me. And they are exactly what I appreciate about small business. They are friendly, informative and congenial. I saw several of their return customers come to the counter and each was treated like a member of the family. Smog Check Only isn't quite correct. They take care of all your DMV registration and title needs and insurance too! Just like those old infomercials used to say: But wait! That's not all! As I was packing up to leave, I was letting them know that they had just earned all my business for the 3 cars we own and dropped a little nugget about how I wished they did RVs too, and THEY DO! They have their Clean Air certification for diesel RVs! I'm all in! If you live in Walnut, for a small fee, they said that they do a house call for your CARB certificate on your RV. WHAT?!?! 5 Stars! read more

I needed to stop by for a smog check and fortunately this crew came through and in a timely manner especially on a rainy day. Everything was done within 15mins after they took the car in the garage. Value for the service is pretty competitive among other stations, but the coupon (which is still applicable) helped saved me a few $$ after I just paid a late fee with the DMV. read more

Piedra's was the place that I was told to visit after I got the dreaded letter from the DMV. It took about 20 minutes to check my beater of a car. My go to spot for star certified smog tests! Fast, friendly and efficient service. They also have a waiting room with AC and vending machine. There's usually some type of promo you can apply on the pay,ent so be sure to ask the front clerk. Recommend going on weekdays to avoid weekend rushes as the parking lot is quite small and gets crammed easily. read more

Eva recommended to drive it a few more days around town and come back for the retest and it passed! Happy about that.
