Piedra's Smog Test Only - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Walnut, California

The best and fastest smog around here. Everytime I come I am literally in and out within 20 minutes. Prices are very cheap too.

Fast and excellent service. Highly recommend if you need a smog test! I will be coming back the next time I need one.

I chose this place because I wanted to support a small business. Piedra's Smog Test is located on Valley and can be easy to miss since there are more than one businesses along that road that says 'Smog Check.' It took me around 25 minutes to get my smog check completed. I recommend waiting outside because there was a certain smell inside that made my head hurt a bit. TIP: Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a discount! When I visited a month ago, they gave me a discount, but it wasn't the price listed on the Yelp check-in (which I'm totally okay with). read more

I was the third car to do the testing. Only approximately 30 mins wait time. They are not the cheapest from what I got quote from but still able to got a good price with their Yelp check-in promotion. No need to drive the extra miles (extra gas cost) to a cheaper place. I will definitely going back after 2 years for my next smog check. read more

Eva and Silvino have been nothing but a class act. I am a repeat customer and they always take great care of me. When I called, they got me in quick, Eva personally checked in to make sure I was taken care of. They honored to the coupon incredibly easily. The work itself was done in minutes, overall great experience, very helpful, very kind professionals. read more

Piedra's Smog Test Only - They do car registration renewal !? - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Walnut, California

I called 4 smog shops within an hour. This shop was $20 more expensive than all the other shops and they couldn't get my car checked out for another couple of days after I called in. I ended up going to a shop in Brea that was $25 cheaper and was able to get my smog certificate completed in 15 minutes. Pretty easy decision = saving money and time. I wanted to edit my review to respond to the owner. I appreciate his response and wanted to clarify 2 stars. The person who picked up the phone was very rude. Didn't appear to want to answer questions about availability to get the smog done or talk about the price. No coupon was mentioned or offered. No explanation was given why the smog couldn't be done sooner. I am certain this is the right shop bc I just left reviews for the other shops I called. This shop stuck out in my memory bc of how I was treated on the call. I would hope that this was just someone having a bad day and not how every customer is treated. Hope this helps clarify your questions on the 2 star rating. read more

My car was due for a smog for registration. I took it here and it failed. They allow 10 days to come back and try again at no charge. I got my catalytic system repaired at the dealer but took several weeks. I went back today and it passed smog check. They didn't charge me again, even though they could have. That is great customer service. They were also quick and accommodating. I didn't have an appointment and they took my car in right away. Highly recommended. read more

Owner Silvino has been keeping excellent service at his station for over 15 years. I finally had time to write a positive review, as this is my third visit. Compared to other smog test places, I am very grateful for Silvino to take time to explain costs, when I puzzled about the $8.25 cert. Service was under 15 min with one car ahead of me and price at $31.75 (based from website coupon)was a good deal. Please note physical coupon is a must. Electronic may be accepted if first mistake to bring. I will come again for next smog check read more

Excellent, great, friendly, and fast service. The business was very accommodating and helped me get my car smogged at the last minute. Also, great price. read more

Got my smog check done here. Very quick for a Saturday morning. I checked in via Yelp and it came out to $55. $46.75 for the smog check fee and $8.25 for the certificate. Highly recommend! read more

I would not recommend this business at all. They charged $69 for smog check when other more reputable places only change $50 or less with certificate, and most importantly they only offer 10 day for retest if failed smog check the first time when other places offer 30 days for free retests. When asked how much it would be for retest after 10 days, they wanted another $40.... So we have decided to take the business elsewhere. They do have Yelp offer but even with that is still more expensive, and they didn't mention it when asked about price. Not a good business practice. read more

Came here after finding a coupon for a smog test and they were very quick and attentive. Parking lot is small but I was still able to fit my truck comfortably. I was out within 15 minutes and am very happy with the service. Will be coming back in the future read more

Great service and super friendly. A wave of people came at the same time and they handled it with ease and grace.

I've been here twice now for smog test only. Great service and fast turnaround around.

In and out 30 mins very efficient. I used their Yelp check in voucher saves me a few bucks. Highly recommended

Quick and easy service. Friendly staff. Nice cool temperature lobby/waiting area while your vehicle is getting worked on. Parking lot availability is pretty small so just Incase they're having a busy day I'd call ahead of time to see if there's time and room for your car at this business. I came for a smog test for my registration. I was in and out in less than 10-15 minutes of pulling into the business. 69$ was my total(found out after but there's a coupon you can use to reduce this price, if you don't see just ask!). Well worth it. Would definitely come back here to get my smog done. Recommend y'all come here too! read more

First time here and they did not disappoint. Elvia was very helpful and reassuring. Big shout out to Alfonso because he broke it down for me why my car did not pass smog and without him I wouldn't have been able to correct the issue in a timely manner as I procrastinated with my star certified smog check prior to renewing my license. Thank you to the Piedra team and I'll definitely be coming back for all my future smogs. read more

Fast service in and out. Parking is a challenge however need to be there early I guess

I would give this place a 6th star if I could. I came in and the nice young lady at the guest greeted and provided quick and excellent service. I requested a smog check and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The technician was also great and was really knowledgeable. The best part is they're open til 6, and for us that work that's a HUGE bonus! The price was also good bang for your buck. read more

I don''t expect a welcome mat or roll out the red carpet. But don't ignore me like I have the plague. We're the ca-ching $$$ for your business. Perhaps your memory banks were on empty in issuing a good morning to people. Get a triple shot of espresso coffee. Inside is a muggy humid atmosphere in a tiny baby kitchen size room... Air conditioning barely works with a fan blowing around the hot air. Small parking lot shared with another business and if you park on the street expect a ticket or get whacked by the 50+ mph traffic flying down the road. Yeah, my truck got smog certificate several weeks back. Big deal! Yaaaay for that. read more
